U-Haul Open for Business in Ajax, Ontario
AJAX, Ontario — (Nov. 19, 2013) U-Haul Moving and Storage of Ajax is now open for business. The U-Haul Company of Eastern Ontario has expanded its network of moving and self-storage locations with the purchase of a 38,400 square foot warehouse facility at 239 Station Street in Ajax.
The new U-Haul Moving and Storage of Ajax will feature traditional equipment truck and trailer rentals along with U-Box moving and self-storage containers. The center also will be selling a wide variety of environmentally friendly packing supplies: boxes made out of recyclable materials, 100 percent biodegradable packing peanuts and moving pads made from recycled denim. Also on site will be a Take a Box/Leave a Box display, which allows customers or anyone in the community to leave moving boxes or unwanted electronics boxes for another customer to reuse for free, instead of throwing them away or recycling them.
“We are excited to partner with the Ajax community to offer the finest in moving and storage services that U-Haul customers have grown to expect,” stated Jennifer Anstett, president, U-Haul Company of Eastern Ontario. “Families now will have increased convenience and a shorter distance to travel when moving and storing their goods, which not only will make their move easier but also will have the positive effect of reducing the amount of carbon emissions released into the atmosphere,” Anstett noted.
There is still much more to do with this facility, and soon U-Haul Moving and Storage of Ajax will be offering self-storage to the community. Self-storage at U-Haul Moving and Storage of Ajax will feature state-of-the-art digital video surveillance, your lock/your key, FREE use of storage carts, no deposit or administration fees, a convenient credit-card payment plan, and available low-cost Safestor Protection to help safeguard customers’ personal possessions -- just a few of the additional services to be offered at this location.
