Snowflake native offers U-Haul items at All Shade Window Tinting
SNOWFLAKE, ARIZ. (DEC. 23, 2014) – All Shade Window Tinting has been tinting windows and detailing cars for four years in the cozy town of Snowflake.
Now store manager Mite Richards is pleased to announce U-Haul® trucks, trailers, and dollies are available for rent on the quarter-acre property that used to be an empty lot.
All Shade Window Tinting, one of two U-Haul neighborhood dealerships in Snowflake, is at 480 N. Main St. at the busy north end of town, 27 miles south of Interstate 40. Operating hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.-noon.
All Shade Window Tinting’s location used to serve as a gas station. When owner Jordan Mills purchased the property, he spent many years working out of a trailer until the proper renovations could be made.
Mills’ great-great-grandfather, William Jordan Flake, founded Snowflake. Before opening All Shade Window Tinting, Mills was a firefighter in the neighboring town of Show Low. He did tinting on the side with his brother and finally decided to open his own shop.
Mills hired Richards, a former customer, as his first and only employee. The duo pounced on the chance to become a U-Haul dealer after the being introduced to the idea at a local swap meet.
As someone who was raised in town and attended Snowflake High, Mills knows the value of community support and youth sports. Richards said, “Every first down is sponsored by All Shade Window Tinting” at Snowflake football games.
“Jordan is a great guy to work for,” said Richards, an avid outdoorsman. “I’ve been offered other positions, but I just can’t leave this place.”
