Faith, family drove owner to open NW Georgia Sales and Service

LINDALE, GA. (Dec. 23, 2014)  – Northwest Georgia Sales and Service is a friend to folks who roll up their sleeves and work diligently on their yards, farms and homes … at least until kickoff.

There are few reliable lawn mower engine repair shops in Floyd County, and of these, only Northwest Georgia Sales and Service has teamed with U-Haul to offer customers a variety of trucks, trailers, towing equipment, support rental items, in-store pickup for boxes and after-hours drop-off.

Reserve U-Haul® items here by visiting http://www.uhaul.com/Locations/Truck-Rentals-near-Lindale-GA today. Northwest Georgia Sales and Service is at 5748 Cedartown Highway, Lindale, Ga. 30147. Its hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.-noon.

Owner Dwayne Nelson is eager to meet your moving, lawn care, engine repair and farming needs. Nelson left Home Depot® to start his company in July, acquiring a property that was already set up for a mower and tractor dealership. His next move was to partner with U-Haul.

Northwest Georgia Sales and Service distinguishes itself with its line of U-Haul products, but the true difference lies in its owner’s perspective.

“The only thing that separates us is something I do for myself and for my work: I believe in honesty,” Nelson said. “Our town wants people to be honest and fair, and that is what is lacking in many businesses. That’s what I bring to the table, and so far it has treated us well.”

Nelson left his previous job and started his new business so that he could spend more time with his family on weekends. Northwest Georgia Sales and Service is closed Sundays so that Nelson can dedicate his time to God and worship.

“If you have a business and can’t pay your bills in six days, the seventh day isn’t going to help you,” he said.

Nelson, whose son serves in the Army, maintains a deep appreciation for the U.S. Armed Forces as an avid supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. Nelson also aspires to give back to his community and hopes to become a participant in the Rome Christmas Parade in the future as his business grows.

Northwest Georgia Sales and Service is the ideal place to become U-Haul Famous. Take your picture in front of a U-Haul product, send it in and your face could land on the side of a U-Haul truck. Upload your photo through Instagram using #uhaulfamous, or go to www.uhaulfamous.com to submit photos and learn more.

From now through Dec. 31, U-Haul will donate $1 to the American Red Cross for every photo submitted.
