COLLINS, MISS. (Aug. 4, 2015) – The Corner Lott, which transitioned from an auto dealer to a utility and cargo trailer company, has added a new partner to its operation.
Owner John Lott recently made his business a U-Haul® neighborhood dealership, making the process of moving for convenient for do-it yourselfers in the Collins community.
The Corner Lott at 2181 U.S. Hwy. 49 is open 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8:30 a.m.-noon Saturday. It offers U-Haul trucks, trailers, support rental items, towing equipment and after-hours drop-off for equipment.

The Corner Lott opened in 2011 and recently added U-Haul to better suit its customers’ needs.
“We were looking for something to do,” Lott said. “It (U-Haul) complements the trailer sales.”
Lott noted that originally he was looking for something to do during his retirement and opening The Corner Lott filled his expectations. Since his business is still fairly new, he wanted to offer a variety of products as a way to establish himself in the market.
The Corner Lott sits on nearly three acres, allowing ample room to park U-Haul rentals. Along with offering trailers and U-Haul products, Lott also operates a fireworks business.
U-Haul Company of Mississippi and The Corner Lott are striving to benefit the environment through sustainability initiatives.
