Cope’s AAA approved auto repair facility staffs ASE certified mechanics. Route 66 Auto Repair performs complete auto repairs on foreign and domestic vehicles.
Some of the mechanics come from the local high school’s mechanical workshop.
“I donate parts to the schools so the kids can practice on rotors,” Cope said. “If they do well in the workshop, they come to work at Route 66 part-time. (Some) have even become full-time mechanics.”
