BALDWIN, N.Y. (Aug. 11, 2015) – Chris Molinet is the owner of Chris’ Service Center, a full-service Gulf Oil® affiliate established by his grandfather in 1972.

Chris’ Service Center recently signed on as a U-Haul neighborhood dealer, offering the Baldwin community truck and trailer rentals, towing equipment and support rental items from the industry leader in do-it-yourself moving and self-storage.

Chris’ grandfather and father shared his first name, as does his son, nicknamed “C4.” His cousin, Ron Temple, manages the service center.

“Our clients go back for generations,” Molinet said. “We have customers coming in to get their cars worked on that were in car seats years ago.”

Chris’ Service Center offers a full scope of services, from pumping gas and car washes to engine repairs, body detailing and emission inspections.

As a longstanding Baldwin community member, Molinet holds fundraisers for local schools and youth sports leagues. “We donate a penny a gallon to the school fundraisers,” he said. “The last fundraiser helped the middle school purchase computers.”
