Warren Byrd opened Tires Plus 17 years ago and he recently decided to enhance his operation by adding U-Haul® products and services as a neighborhood dealer.

Shop manager Anthony McDaniel, who has worked at Tires Plus for 14 years, said U-Haul was added to help increase the company’s presence in the community.
“It draws them in,” McDaniel said. “Then they come in and see all that we do.”
Tires Plus is located on 10 acres and, according to McDaniel, about half is in use. The property allows for Tires Plus to have an abundance of U-Haul equipment as well as maintain a stocked tire shop.
“Lots of local folks are coming in and they are happy U-Haul is here,” McDaniel noted.
