U-Haul offers free storage to Tennessee flood victims

The U-Haul Co. of Memphis is offering 30 days of free storage to West Tennessee residents whose homes were affected by damaging storms and flooding. 

U-Haul has Memphis locations at 5315 Summer and 3551 Mendenhall. It also has a Millington location at 7910 Highway 51 North and a Jackson, Tenn., facility at 173 Airways Blvd. 

"Floods cause tremendous damage and inflict extreme hardship on the communities we serve," said Carol George, president of U-Haul Co. of Memphis. "I hope this effort will provide assistance to families that may truly need a helping hand. We will continue to help our friends and neighbors in this time of need." 

U-Haul recently purchased nearly an acre of additional land to expand its Mendenhall location.
