The U-Haul Company of Central Michigan Expands U-Haul Self-Storage Operations with the Acquisition of Acorn Attic Self-Storage
YPSILANTI, Mich. — (June 6, 2012) The U-Haul Company of Central Michigan today announced the acquisition of Acorn Attic Self Storage, an existing storage facility located at 2225 Parkwood Avenue in Ypsilanti. This new acquisition has been renamed U-Haul Moving and Storage of Ypsilanti and features four self-storage buildings and a warehouse, consisting of an additional 95 storage rooms and nine RV parking spaces. These additional storage rooms offer more than 14,400 square feet of net rentable storage.
U-Haul Moving and Storage of Ypsilanti features outdoor and drive-up storage, as well as U-Box container moving and storage. With U-Box containers, you can conveniently pick up our custom-designed trailer and take your U-Box container with you. After you fill up the U-Box container, we can store it for you in our secure warehouse or deliver it to a location of your choice

Also on site will be a Take a Box/Leave a Box display, which allows customers or anyone in the community to leave moving boxes or unwanted electronics boxes for another customer to reuse for free, instead of throwing them away or recycling them.
