Inside of van very dirty, though admittedly there was no time to clean it after the last customer. Waited a long time in line, but assistant manager very helpful. Gentleman who checked in our van upon return was extremely friendly and professional.

I turned in the truck to a person in uniform at store site. But got no paperwork saying it was free from damage and it was return with no time stamp. He said it will be sent to my email in 30 mins. They did exactly that, which was great. But they need a receipt process that the renter has no liabilty after handing the keys over.
Still a over all good experience with U-Haul. I will use them again.

truck was not maintained, check gage light came on, back lights did not work for night driving,almost stalled out on us on interstate 275. Not satisfied with my experience at all. Will not recommend that location again!!!!!! Maybe not UHaul again either. This was a very poor experience for me and my family.

The 26ft truck we rented had trouble starting, and was in pretty poor visual shape as well. The transmission had trouble up-shifting during acceleration, and would slam into lower gears as you would brake slowly to come to a stop. The jerking of the transmission during slowing caused my load to shift considerably, however none of my belongings were damaged. The parking airbrake did not function at all. Due to the condition of the equipment, and the fact that this isn't the first time we rented a sub-standard product from U-Haul, we will be using Penske for our moving needs in the future. We are a nine person military family, and I would strongly suggest U-Haul over-Haul their product. I have been seeing a large number of military families moving to Penske products and I believe this trend will continue. It doesn't take an economist to figure out that it would be a large chunk of business.

Wish you had hourly rates on trailers/trucks instead of just daily and weekly. I needed a tow dolly for about 3 hours and had to pay for a full day.

Supply some type of hitch cover to prevent knee and leg injuries, which occurred during this job. Equip the trucks with tiedown strap fasteners or rings.
