I was told on Sat. 4/14/2012 when I picked up furniture blankets that I had untill Sunday 4/15/2012 at 5pm to return the uhaul and when I returned it I was charged for xtra time. I did not look over my contract I just assumed I was given the right information. Money is tight and that xtra fee was my food money. I was really upset.

It says above that the rental was from the U Lock it on rt 342 but it was rented from the U lock it on rt 11 in evans mills ny. the The 14' truck i rented would sputter and almost stall when trying to go down the highway. The transmission refused to shift at propper time and the truck was burning oil. I called back to the place i got it from and was told that they knew of the problems and i was told just "pump the gas it wont stall". WILL NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN

To be honest, renting a trailer for transporting a mini-van 12 miles and costing almost $68 is real high in my opinion. I could have hired a wrecker cheaper than that. You are pricing yourself out of the market. When you figure in the cost of $65 in gasoline for the truck in addition to this for the trip out to get the trailer, the trip to get the van, the trip home with the van, then the trip to return the trailer, this is a very expensive method of transporting a van that broke down. If you want repeat business, then lower your prices to a far more reasonable alternative.
