There were no distinguishing factors between the call center and the physical location. I had arranged for the trailer to be picked up by a secondary party and no information had been relayed via the contract therefore causing confusion and chaos on behalf of the U-Haul location and our second party pick up person. Very frustrating.
Secondly, we were traveling overnight and the running lights on the trailer DID NOT WORK. Therefore we were unable to reach our destination in Maryland at the scheduled time. We called road service, they arrived an hour and a half later, and could not determine what the problem was nor, was willing to make any suggestions as to how to fix the problem. This was not a vehicle issue, it was clearly the trailer! I would not recommend U-haul to anyone; they are unprofessional, unhelpful, and not worth the cost.

I was informed it would be fine to return the trailer after hours without being charged an extra day. But the assistant manager did not note it in the system so I was told if I did not return within the 30minutes after the call, I would be charged an additional day.
Not professional! Would not rent from again.

I had a problem with the two individuals I encountered in the parking lot. I was doing my best to ignore these two individuals but they were giving me a hard time. I almost had to call police on them when on of them flicked their cigarette at my moms suv. The Customer Service was excellent. The two guys in the parking lot that gave me and my mom a hard time was the only bad experience for me.

The lift truck used for moving PODs was inadequate and unable to lift POD off supplied trailer. I had to repack POD contents into second POD to redistribute load in order to move loaded POD. Having information before hand of load limitations and that a low capacity lift truck was being used for moving PODS, would have saved me a great deal of extra and unnecessary repacking work.

Our truck had several issues, including the check engine light periodically going on and the truck shaking at 60 mph. For driving 4-5 hours up North, we were very disappointed in the quality of the truck. However, the manager compensated us as a result of the difficulties we had, so we appreciate that. Trucks not in good working condition shouldn't be rented out.

The gentleman that assists with hooking up your equipment was wonderful as always, the gals in the office that checked my order back in were awesome too. The gentleman that first waited on me the day we rented was less than stellar. He bordered on rude. He was very short and un-engaged in our transaction. I felt I was bothering him. I believe this was the manager of the office based on the picture on the counter. Too bad, the entire rating would have been excellent had he simply shown some good customer service.

When a reservation is made via the web, the personnel at your location should not be supprised and try to reprice it. There seems to be a disconnect as this was part of my experience. You need to work on internal communication. Also, overnight drop off is essential to my being able to do business with you, eliminate this and you eleminate me as your customer. I do not think I'm alone here, so you should embrase this.
