This was the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life!!! My appointment changed several times without me asking it to be changed, then I had to work around their schedule!! I had to do what they wanted, or I wasn't going to get my product installed. I cannot believe the way I was treated. I will no longer bring any business to this location. The location smelled like drugs, most of the employees were not even presentable. This location needs to consider who they are using as the face of their business. I would not have rented here if I would have been there before. Just terrible. Very unsatisfied!!!

This was my first time renting a truck. The experience was great. The only thing that I think should approve is you pay for however many miles you need and then you return the u haul. As soon a it is checked in then the refund of the difference should be credited that day. It may be done that way already I do not know that because it was my first time.

I specifically asked for a dolly, even ordered one with the truck. The lady behind the counter said one comes with every truck, so she removed the one I had requested from my order. When we got to our destination, there was no dolly in our truck. We were very dissatisfied by this. Especially given that we discussed it in person at the store and ordered online.

What can be done to improve for the next customer is not charge a single mother of two young kids whom is running away from an abusive relationship from the state of Michigan to the state of Florida every dang penny she has! Thank you I am now a single mother with an abusive ex trying to take my kid and also so broke I don't know what I'm going to do.. oh and homeless but as long as Uhaul got their $912 life is good right? I was told $700 even total with tax. Whatever maybe you should try being in my shoes and then price the truck for a single mom.

Staff couldn't find trailer. Staff were not particularly friendly. Tested lights but next day tail light didn't work. Had to wait for sunrise which delayed departure.

I called customer service on several occasions while we were on the road, I'm still waiting for a call back. We had 2 blow outs, 1 reverse light out, no wiper fluid, passenger door had to be slammed shut and the windows dirty from the road trip before, does anybody really care. Read the first sentence in your raodside assistance clause,SAFE, CLEAN and WELL_ MAINTAINED, not in my case.

Understaffed. I called there several times and my calls were always diverted to the national call center. I reserved a trailer over the phone and they got my name wrong. I tried to use the Express Check In (or whatever it is called) link on the confirmatory email I was sent, but this did not work - just took me to a general U-Haul site with no opportunity to check-in. When I got to the Waterford pickup site, there was a long line and I waited 30 min to get to the window. I got there earlier than my pickup was scheduled for by about 15 minutes, and they were going to charge me for a full extra day - I told them that I would step back into line and save 1 days charge and they decided not to charge me in this way. Overall, I was pleased with the trailer, but very disappointed in all dealings at the pickup site.

While the experience at the rental office was fine the issue began after I left. After I loaded the trailer and left to drop off the bedroom set the trailer broke down. While I understand that things break, I was very disappointed in how the corporate call center handled the issue. While they are will trained to apologize, I would have preferred they listen to the problem and solve in an efficient time frame. After five hours the decision was made to tow the trailer back to my home so I could unload the contents. After all this the rental center charged me for the one day rental. I have tried to call the store but they never answer their phone. All calls to the store are redirected to a call center and the have no ability to issue a credit. I realize you need to minimize all your costs. However, just apologizing for a problem without the ability to actually correct the problem is a problem. In the end, I was charged for the trailer and the bedroom contents are still in my garage. At some point I will need to rent another trailer and pay again for the rental. Nice racket you have going.

Had an issue my first time back in January renting a trailer, they gave me the run around on the location to where I should return the trailer. All they did was give me a $20 off certificate on my next uhaul rental. Luckily I had to rent a truck a few months later so I could use the $20 off certificate. I tried to use my certificate, they questioned me to where I got it from and stated that I can't use it until I return the equipment (this was after waiting on a line of 1 person a head of me for almost 30 min. It took 4 employees to locate a dolly for the guy in front of me while no one attended to me. I wasted over an hour and a half this past Saturday on my moving day just because the incompetence and lack of customer service skills at this location. I returned the truck 30 min after hours (due to my time being wasted at the u haul location) and was not there to ensure they used my $20 certificate, which they sayid would be applied. I called numerous times to talk to someone about it, which I was told they would have to call me back, 4 days later I have heard nothing. My only 2 experiences with u haul have been terrible, and I will never use this company for my moving needs again. I would still like someone with customer service skills to reach out with me to solve my issues. I had rented a trailer, a storage unit and a truck In the past 2 months. Luckily I'm all moved out of there and will not have to experience any more terrible service from this company.

I reserved a trailer with a ramp, to be ready by 8:15 a.m. When I arrived I was given a smaller trailer. No price adjustment was given. The girl said she was to busy!!!!! Than said she would adjust it on Monday...well it is Wednesday and NO ADJUSTMENT........ Someone please adjust the account. Richard Heinz 248-417-0967

This is likely nothing against this location, but the truck that I was given was SUPER old.. Felt like it was from the late 80's or early 90's. Smelled of gas and oil and was very old. I would recommend replacing it with a new one - this old one is way past its expiration date.

The truck didn't start one day and it was recharge and stop working again and again when i told the manager she even did not respond to me and look to other side , I ask her again with out even look back to me said we will check and call you, and ignore me again I paid 459$ no respect and did not call back .very bad experience .
