Originally attempted to rent a motorcycle trailer to be pulled by my 2002 Ford Explorer. Franchisee was advised by U Haul corp NOT to rent to this tow vehicle. Noted that UHaul corp advised that this was due to experience with Ford/Firestone issue of 2000. Please note that the 2002 Explorer is an entirely different vehicle than the 1995-2001 variant. Said 2002 vehicles were NOT fitted with Firestone tires, nor was the vehicle subject to any recall of any kind whatsoever. I have forwarded a letter to Ford legal requesting that they contact U Haul legal. It is time to get this major discrepancy reviewed and the issue properly dispositioned. Note that General Manager of subject Franchise was polite but firm in enforcing U Haul corporate policy.

Listen, I spelled my name out on the phone LYMAN why was the contract written out with LINEMAN ? I refused to sign it until they fixed it. She acted very indifferent to me after that . Why ? I enjoyed the Truck it was great.

Cost was incredibly high! ! Had vehicle for 4.5 hrs. And paid over $150. 00! Could have rented a van for an entire day from a car rental company and paid HALF the amount w/out rushing! Learned the hard way once again.

1st it wasn't the correct place I set up to pick up the truck and dolly. 2ed when I got there they said my truck was ready but when I went to look at it it didn't have a dolly so I went back in re stood in line and told them. A dolly was put on and I was again told I was ready. As my dad was looking around the truck and dolly he ask if he could test all lights. they told him everything was check. My dad went and checked anyway to find that the dolly and trucks turning signal wasn't working. we went and stood back in line and they changed out the dolly then changed out the truck then dolly and then dolly again! after about an hour and a half we were told that they have the truck and that the dollys turn signals were not working but to take the them and they would have me come back later when they had the part to fix it. I told them I needed drive 30 min home load my truck and that I was moving out of state in the morn and I didn't have time to keep going back and forth. They then had me wait again just to tell me to go and take it and they would send a repair man to my home. Yes the repair men fixed the problem but after being there for 2 hours and 30 min each way to and from my home I wasted a lot of time and money because My movers that I had to pay waited for over an hour. I still had to pay them for there time. Im sorry but shouldn't these trucks and dollys be inspected way before we pick them up! very unhappy

I have rented from this location several times in the past and have always had extremely positive experiences. Today was the exception to that rule. The office was greatly understaffed, resulting in 30+ minute wait times in line and on the return trip, I ended up needing to take two trips through the line due to a miscommunication. Aside from this experience, I have been very pleased with this location.

Make sure that you have the equipment that was reserved. And don't forget to load add on equipment into the truck. I was put into a much smaller truck and did not receive the appliance dolly for which I paid. I had to make three extra trips to complete my move costing me valuable time. On top of which I was forced to make a trip back to the u-haul location to pick up the dolly that they forgot to load. Extra miles for that cost me extra dollars. Not Happy with my experience.

Truck was VERY dirty inside and out. No excuse for charging someone full price for a rental and providing them an inferior product. I should receive some amount of a refund for signing up to pay for a "standard" used rental truck and receiving a dirty (it also smelled very bad inside and was very dirty) and substandard truck. When I drive the truck the muffler sounded like it was going to fall of at any time. Truck pulled to one side and the U joints are worn out. NO EXCUSE FOR ANY OF THIS AND I RESPECTFULLY AM ASKING FOR SOME LEVEL OF A REFUND. Customer service was very poor as well. With only one person in front of me and two customer service agents it took 45 mins to receive a truck. Many people who came in after me were standing in line and questioning each other what was going on. Some very nice people but their TRAINING was substandard for any professional organization. The gentleman who started my check in process was inadequately trained for this task. About 30% through my check in he got distracted and, without saying anything to me (that he was leaving for some reason and would be back or not) walked outside to deal with another process and never came back; that the general manager indicated later that he didn't need to help with. During my entire check in process i was standing quietly and waiting for someone to take charge. Very odd. I stood in line for ten min until the general manager walked by and I had to ask her I'd someone was going to continue to check me in to receive a truck.
