Took me over an hour to get my rental. Had to redo my contract 5 times. Not sure why there was a problem.

After driving 3 days and most of the last night, upon arrival at my destination I unloaded my car first. Since we could not unload the truck with the transporter attached, and we could not leave it on the street, I went to the pre-arranged drop off location to return only the transporter. the receptioning young manager was harsh and adamant he would not accept the transporter without the truck, claiming that he could not take it since it was on the same contract as the truck. I could not understand why not! And it caused me additional work and time wasted while I was so tired, it took two days to unload and return the truck and the transporter. Overall the move was successful, thank you U-hall. I appreciate as well the U-hall commitment to honor exactly the reservation total amount.

I have had previous issues with this location and if i could have picked a different place to rent a one-way i would have done it in a heart beat. Thank heavens I do not have to use that location ever again!! I was never so humiliated by the way I was treated by the agent there who took care of my truck rental, his rude behavior left a bad taste with me. First of all he insisted that i make sure i return the truck with the gas that was already in it. I already knew this, it wasn't my first time renting with u-haul, in fact i have rented several times from this company. He was supposed to come out and check my mirrors for me and go over contract with mileage, gas, etc. he didn't even take the time for that, he left truck running and told me where it was. I didn't look at gas gauge b/c i figured he had the exact gas in truck that was quoted. as i drove away i noticed that it was not 1/2 full as he said it was, but seeing that i was driving such a big truck (which i was absolutely terrified of driving but didn't have a choice b/c they didn't give me the 20 ft truck i asked for, in fact it was a 26 ft truck! while i was stopped at a red light, i dug out my camera from my purse and took pic of gas gauge. When i got to location where i would have truck loaded, i called immediately to the location but got the call centre instead. the lady was so rude to me, i decided i wouldn't waste my time. my friend got so upset over the way i was treated she called the location herself, and got nothing but rude behavior from the guy who answered (which ended up being the guy who gave me contract at location). he was so rude to her and reminded her that they treated each customer individually and took time for each one to go over truck, fix mirrors, etc. This was all bull crap, b/c he didn't do anything of the sort for me- just told me where truck was and went back inside to other customers. Now i don't mind if they are busy, but he shouldn;t have said they treat each customer individually, because he certainly didn't do that whatsoever. i expect some kind of refund from this rental, it cost me over $300 for this move, and come to find out when i got to the drop off location, the idiot (and i use that term loosely, as if i ran the company this guy would have been fired a long time ago for just his rudeness to customers), he gave me the wrong truck! No wonder there was so much controversy over what the gas should be when returned! I will never use U-haul again after the experiences with this location. The only saving grace for u-haul is the place where i dropped truck off in Marysville in Fredericton, NB. That lady was so kind and she was the one who discovered what buddy did to me. She deserves high praise for the way she treated me. I spent 10 yrs working for Avis/Budget Rental Cars and if i treated customers the way the West Main location in Moncton, NB did, i would have been fired on the spot. So i know all about customer service and the West Main location in Monc

They gave me the wrong truck size. Overbooked everything. I was told on the phone I was getting a $50 compensation...when I showed up they told me I wasn't getting it. "The boss" of this location argued with me in front of other customers raising his voice. When I finally got in the truck they made me sign in advance saying the truck was clean. When I got in there was a ziplock bag with bottles filled with pills under the seat. They also gave me the wrong drop-off location for my one way move. Totally unprofessional on all levels. Never using uHaul again.

Returned the vehicle several hours early. Paid cash for balance (I took pictures of the fuel level, mileage and cleanliness of the unit as I had seen MANY negative reviews about this location but it's the only place with many rental options to rent). Stood in line-up an hour to return it (40 minutes when I picked it up) and the guy said everything was good and even thanked me for pointing out that the seal was broke on the moving blanket bag as I had used some of them and folded them back up and returned them to the bag - when he checked the vehicle he didn't notice it. Two days later, I received an email from U-Haul head office saying I owed X amount of dollars plus a $30 late fee and if I didn't pay up within 7 days they take me to court and add all the charges associated with that. I contacted the phone number on the invoice and was told (for the first 3 or 4 calls that their system was down and couldn't access my account). Finally I got in touch with the customer service and they kept me on the phone (on hold most of it) while they called the local dealer). I terminated the call after 30 minutes, called back and told them I had to leave for work and asked if they could contact me with the results of their conversation with the dealer. No return call. Called back 2 more times until I reached someone who could access my file but the person said the other person had not entered any comments about the conversation they had with the dealer. They elevated my complaint and said I would be contacted with 72 hours. The store manager called me back the next day and left a message. I called back 2 hours later and he was gone for the weekend. I spoke with another staff member who said he personally questioned the gentleman who received my cash and the employee denied getting ANY money from me at all. I asked 6 times before the person on the phone would tell me the guys first name. I asked him to access the video security footage and they would see the interaction between me and the employee who apparently "forgot" to enter my payment into the system. I went "back and forth" with the person who was representing the manager and he was elusive and a bit combative and told me they would have to find that money if I did pay but the guy was sure I didn't and was told to call the manager Monday. When I first picked the unit up, the store manager was disrespecting a young customer in front of approximately 4-6 customers. When I returned the vehicle, the manager was laughing and disrespecting a customer (after he left the store) once again in front of the people waiting to pickup/return units. As they are the biggest and best equipped U-Haul in the whole Moncton region, if you want this service you pretty much have to put up with the disrespectful manager and 1-2 staff members who were laughing along with him as he verbally bullied the young customer . The one person who was not disrespectful was the lady who was working that day. In line-up for 40-60 minutes pic

UHaul called the day before and confirmed a truck and the location which worked out great for us. Nice truck that worked really well. A little lengthy during the rental/pymt process and just a little unsure of what we had for insurance coverage or a deductible if something did happen, luckily all went well. Staff was friendly. Overall it is a busy time of year and it worked really well to be able to move our daughter to Halifax NS>

I arrived at 7am on Aug 30th to pick up my trailer and was told they didn't have it. I asked about the guarantee $50 and they refused to pay it. They booked a trailer on the 31st of Aug later in the day. I picked up the tailer and the staff scratched my car when he lost control of the trailer when hitching it to my car. I will need to follow up with the manager, but I'm sure I will have trouble as this store is very incompetent! Is there any way you can assist with my guarantee $50 and the scratch on my car????????

I reserved a trailer almost a month before going on vacation to make sure I would be able to get one. The day I was to leave on vacation I was told there were no trailers available. Not sure how that happens. I reserved a motorcycle trailer and received a confirmation it was booked. I later received another email to let me know the motorcycle trailer was not available but a trailer with a ramp would be reserved. The day I went to pick it up it was no longer available. after waiting for almost an hour I was then able to get a trailer but it had no ramp and was very inconvenient. Would have been nice to receive an apology or a discount for all the trouble. I will be going elsewhere next time.

Don't send them on a wild goose chase for equipment an hours' drive away to a location they guaranteed would be open 24h, when it turns out they're actually closed. Not impressed, at all, with the level of customer service I received. This was the first time, and most definitely the last time, that I will be using your company.

I was told by the two workers that a FULL tank of gas would either not get me to Halifax or just get me there. I immediately put $195.00 of gas into the 1/4 full tank. After loading my two sons, and returning to Dartmouth, there was still 1/2 a tank. Had the workers in Moncton been better informed I could have saved 50-60 dollars. Also they should know the gas tank is on the PASSENGER side of the vehicle as both told me the DRIVER side.

I booked a cube van thru your reservation system and when I arrived at the location, I was told there was no cube available.....that the only thing I could get was a cargo van. Things still worked out okay, but stuff like this doesn't need to happen. My reservation was handled by "Susan".

I have send a email to your customer Service department. I was treated like a liar and had to pay for fuel which i have already fill to were it was required. I am expecting a resolution in the near future, and will NEVER recommend U haul to even my worst enemy. For what I have been too, I will choose a moving company instead, and will inform a lot of people to do the same. If you answer me with a response in the timely manner instead of saying your word against mine I may not tarnish the name U Haul to a lot of people I know, including social media.

I don't really think there is anything that needs significant change except the parking lot layout of the West Moncton Uhaul location. There doesn't appear to be sufficient space for the equipment, and certainly isn't enough space for client parking.

Worst rent experience ever. Reserve a trailer in Moncton to take a student to halifax and back roughly 10 hours of driving from Sussex NB. Uhaul books a trailer for 14 hours through the night. What a joke. Have requested Visa stop payment.

wait times at this location is out of this world I waited an hour to be served and that is not unusual if what the other customers in the line up were tell was true, the price is good the person at the counter was nice once got to him and the truck was great just the long wait to return was not

When I called the location to advise that the U-Haul was broken down in my driveway and that someone needed to pick it up, I was informed that I would have to pay extra for all the time that the rig wasn't returned back at the depot. I had to argue with the person I was speaking with to make sure I would not be charged extra for this time as it was out of my control. I also asked to be called back ASAP in order to settle the bill, which never happened and upon receipt of the bill by email, there is a late payment charge, and extra fuel charge and I am being charged extra kms on my bill also.

um...let me see. Label the price of items for sale. I wanted to buy a roll of tape OPEN FIRST. They could not find the price. I did not want to wait any longer and said I would buy it when returning the U-HAUL. Employees are ssssllllloooowww on service. Seem to have a lot of people not doing much work. HATE that stupid system of guessing how much gas to put in the tank. Come on people. We have to fill out no matter what. Give us a full tank of gas and we can return it with a full tank of gas. Returning the U-HAUL was a 45 minutes experience. Seemed to be like brain surgery to get the km and gas reading. Not a pleasant experience. Even purchasing some tape at the end took an excessive amount of time: first forgot to include it with the original transaction then could not read the numbers to punch it in. New management and or employees needed.

The customer service representative was very unprofessional. He yawned for about 45 seconds before taking my application. The paperwork side of it went well. However he brought around the wrong type of van which I had requested. He had proceeded to check someone else then and when I asked him how long he would be he would say he said another 10 to 15 minutes. I had already gone through 15 minute waiting. Just for proper paperwork so another 15 minutes was going to put me behind schedule. There was another worker there who his first remarks to us when we walked in was I'm not really here and yet he was conducting business as per usual I just computer. When I checked in after my time was up the same gentleman who said he was not really there working, was still there. I found this very comical. I work in the customer service industry, and if I treated my guest or customers the way I was treated today our company would be out of business. I could hear the lady behind me complaining about the service as well, and she hadn't even been served. I hope her experience went better than mine.

I was assisted by the store manager Brian. He was rude, condescending and lacked basic customer service. When we went to return the unit we waited for 15-20 mins while he talked on the phone to "traffic control" but he was laughing and swearing and making rude comments about a previous customer who he had just served who didn't fill up the gas and was upset with the gas charges to his credit card. After this conversation where he was swearing and saying well it's not my fucking problem you (the client) didn't want to fill the tank before so of course they are going to charge for gas. I waited for 15-20 mins while he finished this conversation over the phone (I was next in line) and then finally says 'well I better go, I have a client' .... How rude!? So I just overheard him over the phone saying horrible rude things to someone over the phone while he ignored me and I had to wait for him to finish and then he says like he is doing me the favour of getting off the phone! I'll never go back! And he was the manager Brian H at Moncton uhaul on west Main Street.
