The wait to pick up a truck is too long. You need more staff working the desks. There were only two staff members for a line that was more than 10 long...and you could see how hard the staff members were working to get everyone taken care of.

There were complications with the availability of the truck I had originally reserved at the Colonie location. Krystal and her crew notified me of the problem with plenty of time to spare and went out of their way to find me another truck I could get to. All of the people I dealt with at both locations were genuinely friendly and helpful. Wonderful experience!!

Didn't have truck reserved , so I have to get two trucks , one the handle of passenger door was total gone, the other skipped when trying to stop . Outrageous , and they stated the 26 foot truck they only rent for like 8 hours . If I'm paying what difference does it make . They don't make at Much off one person than two or third ?! Unreal . I'm glad I'm not a person that moves often . Big extra headache

The check in and return processes could be improved to speed up servicing customers. The wait time was too long. There was only one person working the counter. When a second person came and helped he only helped one customer, from the end of the line, not the next in line and then walked away leaving others still in line waiting

The customer service agent who checked us in was rude!!! He gave me a hard time about my rental and told me it had to be back by 2:30pm. I explained to him that the girl I spoke to when making the rental never said any of this, he was not going to let me take the trailer. Finally he said ok and let me have it, but it had to be back by 2:30pm. When picking up the trailer there were three total. When dropping the trailer off there were three total. He was a jerk!!!!!! HE WAS A JERK!!!!!! Obviously he had some scam of something going!!!!

I had a wonderful experience the person who stood out the most was a gentleman by the name of deakwon (sorry if I spelled it wrong). He's a keeper for sure. He was the best, made our experience so much better. We will always use U-Haul as our primary moving and storage company. Thank you for everything

Besides having a table damaged due to glass not being cleaned up properly, my last order for a truck was changed without my permission; this time around, the guy operating the elevator seemed to be playing games of some sort. I waited 30 minutes with my movers one time, and another time 20 minutes for him to come to our floor. This ended up costing me more money with my movers, and resulted in an incomplete move. I will need to rent a truck again and get help to complete the move. The guy operating the elevator claimed that the office was not notifying him, and that his walkie talkie was not working. Also, claimed there were no carts available. Did someone steal them?!

I rented ahead of time a uhaul for two days (placed on credit card and charged for two days) and received an email confirmation stating it was fine. I went to the store and they told me I had to return in 24 hours due to availability issues. I showed the employee my paperwork and she said the online people messed up and she played around with the computer and said the best she could change it to was 5 am on Saturday instead of 10 am Friday which the system was showing her and I just agreed to it. Had she not found a way to correct the problem I would have not only complained but rented a truck from your competitor. Your online system needs to communicate better with individual locations. You can't charge someone and then have them arrive at a store to state sorry we screwed up.

I think the experience can be improved for the next customer by ensuring the vehicle is sanitized. My rental truck smelled like cigarettes and body odor and the inside cabin light did not work. Also, I was informed by people that have used u haul in the past that they usually supply products at no additional cost to you, ie, a lock for the storage door, a lift, and tethers. Overall, i was very pleased with the customer service. They were efficient and made sure the check in and check out process went very quickly and smoothly. I would use this service in the future.

coolant light came on truck within the first 5 minutes of operation. drove around the block and back into the rental location to advise. ran out with a gallon of coolant filled up the tank that was empty and was on my way. It wasn't a big deal . Overall I am happy with the experience

The vehicle I rented had scrapes that had not been repaired, though they had been marked as noted. These marks were not noted on my form when I rented the vehicle. The gas level was not full, as indicated on my contract. When I returned the vehicle, the evening of the same day I rented it, the location was closed. The next day I was charged for two days rental and added insurance, though the check in was only 22 hours after I rented the vehicle. On the phone I was told that the charge would be $.59 per mile for the first 100 miles and $.29 per mile after that. I was charged $.59 for all 125 miles I traveled. When I called to complain about the extra charges, the person I spoke to said she would have to have a supervisor contact me. That was days ago, and no one has called, nor have I received an e-mail to notify me of the refund I am entitled to. The facility was clean, the vehicle was fine, but the customer service makes this a location I will not return to, nor will I recommend that others go there. I hope this review stimulates a response.
