Reserving on line caused some confusion. The vehicle we reserved was not available. It turns on that was great for us. The gentleman at the counter was very accommodating and helpful. I told him what we needed it for and he put us right in a vehicle. We ended up with a pick up instead which was fine for our use. The truck was fantastic on gas. Well maintained. Clean and a lot of fun to drive! I would definitely recommend the Auburn office.

My reservation was made and Beverly was helpful in securing the best pricing for me by suggesting a smaller vehcicle would suit my needs. Saved me probably at least 100.00. Very grateful for her time and expertise. My vehichle was reserved for 24 hours with an available pick up at 9:00am. I arrrived at approximately 9:30 to which I was greeted very flatly and a comment that "If you are going to be late you should call so your vehicle is still here for you." I was there and the vehicle was as well, so I really didn't think that comment even needed to be said to me at all. If you are expected to arrive on a 24 hour rental at a specific time then it should be mentioned at the reservation. I did not choose that time, I was told it would be available for me at that time. I was not offered a time to pick up either; which was fine for me. Anyway, the guy checking out had no personality, did not smile or give good eye contact. I felt as if I was interrupting his morning. Left feeling unvalued as a customer. He did know the paperwork and processed me out efficiently. Outside of that, the experience was fine, the vehicle was great and perfect for my needs.

I was very disappointed by the services provided by this location and Uhaul in general. This was not the location that I had originally selected when I made the reservation, and I was not notified that I would have to be changing locations until less than 24 hours prior to my scheduled pick up time. This wouldn't be that big of a deal, except that this location was an hour away from my original location. It would be helpful if Uhaul could at least provide their customers with a little more advance notice of unavailable equipment... Having to make a two hour round trip drive just to pick up the stupid truck was highly inconvenient. On top of that, the truck that I reserved was not even available so I was upgraded to the next size up, which was way too big! I spoke with the manager at this location and he offered to credit me back a mere $25 for the inconvenience even though Uhaul explicitly states on the website that there is a $50 reservation guarantee in the event that the location, equipment, or pick up time are not available. I was told by the manager at this location that he would not credit me back the $50 and that I would have to take it up with the location that I had made the reservation with. I attempted to contact the original location and was told that the manager there would get back to me.. I still have not heard anything. Overall this has been an extremely disappointing experience. I will NEVER choose Uhaul again and I will NEVER recommend Uhaul to anyone. In fact, I will go out of my way to make sure that anyone who asks me how my move went knows how terrible Uhaul's customer support is and that they care very little about their customer's satisfaction.

I rented the truck on 7/13, packed and left on 7/14. My son I drove for 10 hrs. He returned to work on the 15, helped me unload the truck on the 16 and 17. I returned the trailer on the 15, When I picked up the truck, I was told about the gas and that I had 4 days to return the truck. I rec'd a call on the 17 at 3:30 telling me that I was late by an hr returning the truck. I told my son, and we hurried unloading the truck, thinking we had more time. We fueled the truck and brought it back an hr later. The person came out, scanned in the truck, came inside and then told me that my credit card was declined. I asked for what and he told me for another day. I said for 2 hrs, and he said yes. if I read my small print I would have seen the exact time the truck was due back. He called someone in from the garage, his name was Joe, and he said, the same thing, "If you read your contract, you would see the time it was due". Both of them were extremely rude, neither would work with me, I tried to explain that it was not told to me about the time, but neither would listen. I gave Michael my a credit card that I was able to use $22.00 on and the rest of my cash, $15.00, he told me that I still owed $6.00. I had to go borrow this from my son!!! After I gave the cash to Michael, he couldn't even give me the change in my hand, he put it on the counter and I had to pick it up. Not very good customer service. For 2 lousy hours and then if I had to pay, I should have been able to keep the truck, but I wasn't offered that!!! I will never recommend U-Haul and after this, I probably won't use U-Haul again. They should have been able to forgive the 2 hrs.

I believe six hundred dollars plus for 3 days was a little excessive,especially for a one way trip.only had the car trailer for three days and got charged for five.could have towed my car to Kentucky and then towed it back home to New York for a little over 50bucks a day.wasn't informed of this option.

My issue was not with the location, although I waited in line for almost 50 minutes to return the rental because there was only 1 employee on a very busy day who had issues with a customer 2 spots ahead of me. My issue was that I planned to get a 17' ft truck, which I reserved for 24 hours. Not only were 17' trucks not available for my use, but the 14' truck that was available was only available for 18 hours. So I had to pay double the mileage because I had to take 2 trips to move what would've taken 1 trip with the 17' truck; I had to put double the gas in because I had to take 2 trips to move. And I had less time to do this all in, making a highly stressful event- moving- even more stressful. I will never use UHaul again and will make sure no one I am helping move ever does either. If UHaul cannot provide the equipment reserved, they should at lease concede to discounts around mileage and/or daily rate.

This location was closed when I dropped off the truck. It was a Sunday. I dropped off the truck around 530 so I had no interaction with staff. However; they thought it would be necessary to add an extra day onto the truck. I even returned it early. GREAT business practice if you would like to STICK it to your customer. Already filed a complaint with uhaul.

We made the reservation in Ithaca and expected to pick up the vehicle there. Then when we confirmed was sent to Auburn. We had to take two peoples time, gas for the non-rental vehicle to get this u-haul. I was very disappointed that we were re-directed to this location.

It seems that there was a miscommunication between the branch and corporate which resulted in my ordering extra equipment that I didn't need. Rather than being able to rely on the location to fix the issue, I had to call corporate myself to resolve the issue. The phone representatives helped us resolve the issue but it was frustrating to get to finally speak to a representative. When you're moving across the country, customers do not need to deal with errors on scheduling equipment. Customers need to concentrate on moving, and be able to rely on U-Haul representatives to provide a great experience. I can't say that I received a great experience. I completely have no faith that my U-Box will arrive at the destination with no further issues. I'm expecting more problems.

The truck we ordered was not available and the manager at the auburn location is NOT NICE. This is why I usually use Penske. The $50 guarantee refund is a JOKE.if they don't honor your request. YOU DO NOT stand behind your guarantee statement.

Nothing. I spoke with mark on friday to pay for my rental for Saturday. Mark suggested that I could take it friday and use the truck for 24 hours at the same rate. I was thrilled. Very nice man.I would highly recommend this place again. I was very pleased with the service

At the time of this rental, 5/22/14 there was all new staff from my previous rentals, all were very attentive, friendly and most important COURTEOUS. This is huge improvement for this location from the past. Thank and keep up the good work and customer service.

When I returned trailer I told store associate that lights did not work on trailer. He said it was probably my car's connector at fault. Not so!! He did not seem to care which make meI wonder if the lights will be fixed for the next renter.
