Continuing to offer the same shopping /moving experience to the other customers that I have come to expect from Blaine uhaul. That is how you make happy, repeat, long term customers. Lucy and Jeff go above and beyond to make it a happy experience and to insure repeat business . I will use Blaine uhaul again in the future for all my moving and towing needs.

I was set-up to pickup my U-Haul truck @ 10:00am at Acorn Mini Storage. At 9:30am I received a call, informing me that they would not have a truck for me. I was then sent to this U-Haul facility and they assisted with the problem. They gave me a truck upgrade and supposedly a $50. Rebate, due to the need to go to a different location, and loosing an hour of time. So, I'll be satisfied, if I get the $50.

I felt insulted several times during the checking out process. I rented the truck around 4:30 p.m. Sunday night, and I asked if the rental was a four-hour rental after having been told to return the truck by 7:00 a.m. Monday morning. I asked the clarifying question because I didn't want to mistakenly be charged for 14.5 hours. Your employee told me that it was a four-hour rental and that the truck needed to be back by 7 a.m. Granted, your employee was correct; however, I did not know that U-Haul had an overnight process. The insult, in this instance, was when your employee restated what had been stated before even though the first time he spoke he failed to give me the necessary information and justification for why the truck, even though the time-span was greater than four hours, would need be turned in no later than 7 a.m. Monday morning. When your employee repeated his answer I felt insulted and belittled for not knowing that U-Haul had an overnight procedure for rentals occurring close to the end of the business day. It felt like the scene in Napoleon Dynamite where Kip is demonstrating a martial arts move with his instructor. The instructor tells Kip to grab his arm. Kip grabs the instructor's arm "incorrectly." The instructor says, "Other arm." And here is the point in the scene when the chasm between the instructor and Kip begins to be illuminated as a means of elevating the instructor to a position of elite standing for esoteric reasons. The scene continues after Kip grabs the same arm of the instructor but using Kip's other hand. The instructor yelps, "MY other arm," as if to solidify the chasm and Kip's unchangeable stupidity for not knowing which arm of the instructor should have been grabbed in the first place.

Where do I begin? First of all, Coon Rapids Uhaul was awful! I will never go there again. Horrible customer service. The girl there was VERY rude and they didn't have my truck when I arrived so I had to go to Blaine. When I asked about my $50 guarantee, everyone acted dumb and didn't know. Customer service at Blaine was great except I didn't get any money back, off, or an extra day when my truck broke down and I didn't complete my move. I also had to pay my movers for extra time that I did not plan for! I think this is unacceptable customer service and for that, I would not go to any Uhaul again for another move. I was going to stop and get gas, but the guy at Uhaul in Blaine told me not to. So the $45 in free gas that is on my receipt does NOT make up for the break down.... in fact, its an insult.

Customer service from Lucy, general manager is very poor. She was outside smoking when my husband I arrived. She did not come in. The gentleman inside said he couldn't help us because he was training someone. So I waited... and waited for Lucy to return from her break. Right when she started to ring me up her phone rang. She walked away from me, answered her phone and used facetime to talk with her son about chores. She asked someone else to finish helping me. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and customer service from a manager. My husband and I have been there a few times and all other employees have been very helpful.

Was great to have a truck for our move, however I was not prepared for the final cost. My "$19.95" truck was ~$80.00 when all was done. Be careful. There are a lot of add on's.

We had a two-day reservation and were told upon pickup that the vehicle was only available for less than 24 hours. This was incredibly stressful and frustrating. I will avoiding using U-Haul in the future because of this inconsiderate treatment.

Good customer service would suggest that when a reservation for a truck is made, that you inform the client that they need to bring proof of insurance in order to be able to rent. I was not informed of this, but when I made this observation to the clerk, her response was "you should always carry your insurance when you drive". I said I did, but if you are dropped off by someone, you would not necessarily have your insurance with you.

They only had one person preforming check-outs at the time. Had to wait approximately 30 mins. He was polite and professional when he got to me.

My complaint would be that the advertised small truck rate is 19.95. Seems reasonable. It ended up costing us 99.07, plus $ 17.00 in gas! for a in town move after insurance and a unreasonable rate of .80 cents a mile charge. This to me is ' the hidden fees' buyer be ware! Crazy

Uhaul is often the only place available for what I need so I shop there regardless. I have been to many Uhaul locations and am used to having a bad experience. I have been to this Uhaul location twice. Both times I had a good or great experience. Today I was helped by James. He was great. There was another woman who helped too because I also wanted estimates on a possible trip to CA. She was great too.

They were proactive, allowed me to take the truck overnight in order to save myself time at checkout. They were very courteous.
