Gas gauge was broken. Truck wad at 5/8 of a tank when I left. Truck was at 1/2 a tank when I was done. Filled it up three times paying over $60 in gas ( over 18 gallons) to bring truck back with 5/8 of tank. Ended up filling the entire tank and only used 60 miles on truck.

Guy working the counter was not friendly at all. I walked in and said hi without any acknowledgment. I stood there looking at him until he stopped talking to an employee about personal things. Really guy? Alps the check engine light was on on the truck.

I has placed my order 10 days prior to my need and requested a St. Paul pickup, and the day before I was told I had to pick up the truck 25 miles out of my way. A slow start to a very busy day.

When I explained what I was hauling they knew exactly the truck I needed .. truck had plenty of power to keep up to highway speeds .. I was allowed plenty of time and mileage to get my job done without worrying about a deadline ..

We were given a 12 foot trailer with some lights that didn't function properly and 1 not at all and when we brought it back the guy just said yea looks like the wire isn't even connected to the trailer and just walked away. When we picked up the trailer we were the only ones in the store and couldn't get 1 of the 3 employees to acknowledge our existence really and when the STORE MANAGER finally did she was the rudest person I have ever came across, if I wouldn't have been in dire need for a trailer I would have just walked out after that lady's ride behavior.

I am disgusted that the $14 charge was NOT identifed as a DAILY charge. I consider the discussion of the added charge to be deceptive. I normally decline these charges and opt instead for a time/date posted photo survey of the vehicle, and my inclusive vehicle insurance, as protection for vehicle condition. Due to the time critical nature of this rental I accepted a $14 charge that was NOT indicated as a DAILY charge after my inquiry as to the amount of the charge for the 2 day rental that was discussed with your agent. This is deceptive or an agent error. I expect to have this refunded. This comment will be copied into a file so I can be repeated in subsequent communication with U-haul if not satisfied via this comment. Otherwise pleased. Have been and will continue to be a U-haul customer.

Made an online reservation from morning till close. When I arrived at facility I was quickly taken through a contract. I was told my personal liability insurance would not cover losses in the manner that Uhaul requires which I am still uncertain if that is true. The mileage was off on the contract for billing, the gas gauge was also off. The truck, which had over 110,000 miles was given to me as 'clean'. I asked this sales person, along with the one that took me around the truck where to put the truck for after hours drop off. Both explained to me in the front of building. Later that day I received a voicemail while trying to move. The voicemail indicated I was late in dropping off the truck and that another family was being forced to wait for my return. When I got a hold of the sales representative he was not courteous. I explained that my request was for an after hours drop off-like I had explained in person and in my online reservation. I rushed the truck back to the location, where no workers were present and no waiting family was present-but a row of similar trucks sat in the parking lot. The next day I received my bill with the incorrect mileage used, the incorrect fuel gauge marking, and additional cleaning fees assessed. I have called repeatedly, and stopped in at the location where I am told I must talk to Lucy. To date I have not had a call returned or have been able to get a hold of Lucy. Additionally, Lucy does not have a voicemail account. My frustration with this process is leading me to seek litigation in the matter. Businesses should not be allowed to operate this way.
