Worst experience I have ever dealt with. The gas gauge is clearly inaccurate. I was told that I used 9 gallons of gas yet I only drive 7 miles. The employees continued to argue and yell at me saying it's my responsiblity to check the gas gauge before I left. Simply math shows that it would be impossible for me to use 9 gallons for 7 miles. The assistant manager finally waived the charge after trying to say that it was my fault. You either have a problem with your employees or equipment. I will most certainly never recommend your company if this is how you treat your employees. As I side note, I turned the truck in 5 hours early and you were in process of renting it again. So you were trying to take advantage the situation by charging me for gas I never used and by renting the truck out again.

A few fact-finding questions from the staff would have recommended a larger truck. I ended up having to add a tow along trailer to complete the move.

Have more than 1 clerk for check-in. I had to wait 15 minutes for service. However, the clerk was very friendly, professional, and apologetic.

I live about 30 miles from this location. There are 4 U-Haul locations around my area, but none of them has the trailer I liked to rent. I wish there are more trailer available.

On a Saturday, when a lot of people do moves, there were only 2 people at the counter to process rentals. The process took too long, becasue of the shortage of people to handle the customers.

There was a computer outage when I arrived which delayed all customers 15 - 20 minutes. The onsite staff did their best and were polite and professional. However, if the issue was IT maintenance U-Haul would do better to have it done after work hours.

No one came with me to inspect the vehicle. I have yet received my money back from not using all the miles I was pro rated

The only issue I had with the rental was the overall price. The advertised price for the 10' box truck was $19.95/day. I rented the truck for 3 days and the overall price was $155! I understand that the insurance is additional, but to pay $44/day for it is incredibly high.

The personnel were very efficient but the equipment we rented was not well maintained. We rented a motorcycle trailer and the metal sign on the drop down tailgate was falling off. My husband used long plastic ties to tie the sign down and keep it from falling off. The trailer rode straight but made a lot of noise. We inspected the wheels halfway through our trip and realized the trailer must have been used previously for something other than hauling a motorcycle. Whoever rented it previously, overloaded the trailer and the wheels were bent outward. We were, however, able to pick up our bike in Raleigh and bring it to Charlotte. But we told the staff that the trailer should probably be taken off the road.
