The cab of the truck was covered in dog hair and we had to jump start the truck twice. Getting the truck was very slow, there was only one guy checking people in and getting their trucks. However, we had initially reserved a truck from Budget and they did not have our truck so the fact Uhaul was able to get us a truck ASAP helped alot. I would suggest always having two people during busy times (Weekends) so one can be checking in and one can get the trucks and extras, etc. And make sure that all pet hair is cleaned out for people with allergies. My son started sneezing just from riding in there.

I requested a 10 foot box truck and was told they don't have any at this location. I was rented a 14 foot and asked if they could give it to me for the 10 foot price they said no. I think they could have worked with me on that matter.

The customer service rep was very quick and friendly but did not complete a pre-trip inspection of the truck. It had a cracked windshield, dirty ashtray, and was missing a window handle knob. I also believe it had not had a recent oil change or inspection because the gas mileage was 7 mpg instead of the advertised 10 mpg! This increased my costs by $60.

A couple of the staff looked as if they had hangovers. They didn't have the 17' truck that we reserved so instead offered a 14' truck with a 5x8 trailer. They rented the truck to my husband with an expired driver's lisence and later when he went back to rent the trailer wouldn't rent it to him because of the expired license. So then I had to go back and rent the trailer. When they tried to hook it up to my Yukon, said that I needed a electrical adapter which they also didn't have so I then had to go to an auto part store to get one. When I returned the truck and trailer they informed me that they couldn't return the trailer as it had not been rented. I showed them the paper work that I had from rental and was informed that they gave me the wrong trailer. They were able to fix that, but I have to say that I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone in the future and I will certainly go with another company.

My brother dropped the trailer off for me and your employee charged me for two days even though we had the trailer for less than 24 hours. I called the location who said that they shouldn't have charged me double, then transferred me to Customer Service. After being on hold for a couple of minutes, I was transferred to Carlos who put me on hold for several minutes. I was on hold with him for so long that I forgot I was on a call. He finally came back on the line and said that he had given me a refund, but it was for less than what the location had said they had charged me. He was pretty rude and had a bad attitude with his explanation. He didn't finish the explanation because he transferred me back to an automated menu in the middle of the call. I finally got back to another customer service agent. I explained the situation and said that I was trying to get an explanation about the amount of the refund. The agent said she couldn't help me. She transferred me to Carlos who never answered. I was finally on hold so long that your system disconnected me. That first call took 17 minutes, 90% of which was on hold. I called again and finally spoke to another agent who managed to have a decent attitude and enough competence to be able to explain the issue without having me wait for Carlos. The location shouldn't have double charged me. Carlos shouldn't have been a jerk. The second agent should have taken some initiative. Your hold times are unacceptable. There were only two things that were done well in this entire process. The trailer worked and the third agent was competent. Nothing else went well.

I had reserved a 17' truck and only a 26' was available. 1400 miles is a long way to go with a vehicle so oversized for my needs. Burned way more gas than needed, planned, or budgeted for, and dealt with unexpected parking problems incumbent with a truck that large. Uhaul offered no help or discount for the inconvenience and added expense.

the per mileage is too high. It doubled the cost of my one day rental. When I rented the uhaul it was cheaper. Basically a 19 dollar rental was 70+ dollars. That is just insane. It was work I had to do. Last time I rented the truck I asked for two days and they gave me one. They called at 8 am and demanded the truck back by 5. Because of it I spent 50 dollars for help and had to rent an extra unit for storage for 100. I am still trying to move stuff around because of that. The checkout is fast and courteous but way to expensive for a one day rental. You should have an all day rental with unlimited mileage. What a dang crock! Soem of your staff is a bunch of smart asses as well.

When I called to confirm my rental they could not find my reservation at the remote location where I actually reserved the UHaul. Nor did anyone inform me I needed to pick up the trailer at another location until I inquired.

I was overall happy with my experience at uhaul except when the employee was disconnecting the trailer from my vehicle he ynaked on the lights plug with alot of force instead of just unplugging it. He is lucky that it did not rip out of the harness. My hitch is new and would like to keep it in working order as hooking up the lights was not easy. That is my only complaint with my experiece but wanted to share that with you. Thanks

Terrible customer service. 4 people at front desk when we arrived and nobody wanted to assist. I was told there were no dollie's available when I arrived. We had to point to a stack of them on the sales floor. I was then told they were on hold for another customer. I had made my reservation earlier that day and had to provide my rental application as proof. Nobody offered to help load the dollies or blankets. Upon returning the equipment I asked if I could pull in front of the store to unload. The clerk advised "only if you want nails in your tires". I had to unload the dollies and pads again on our own because one clerk was arguing on the phone with his credit card company for taking a payment from his checking account and the other clerk just didn't give a **it. Terrible customer service. !!!!!!!!
