Everyone that talks to customers needs to know what they are talking about. I understand that everyone is a newbie at one point but it needs to be told to the customer and the clerk should not argue with the customer and then go to upper management to get the answer that the supervisor agreed that the customer was right

Nothing. Excellent location and service.

There didn't appear to be any "action plan" written down or scheduled when I informed them of the suspension problem noted in the other comments section.

Chris and his entire management team are excellent customer oriented people. They each work very hard and successfully to help the customer with whatever the moving need may be They even collect gently used moving boxes and give them free to other customers. the equipment is spotless and well maintained. I definately reccommend them for all your local and long distance moving needs

They really don't seem to care about the customer experience. Seem to be more about what is going on with themselves and you can just wait. Didn't go out of their way to be helpful or make you want to come back. Would not recommend this location for sure.

Customer Service needs improvement. The gal at the desk stated she was an assistant manager but very rude and short with customers. Also did not seem to willing to help.

Tell employees to make sure the trailer lights work before sending someone away with a trailer. I understand that it was raining but that is even better a reason to have properly working lights.

I picked up a u-haul on Saturday April 4 at this location. While inside my daughter in law pulled in and parked her vehicle. Upon getting out the person who was pulling the u haul up for us called my daughter in law a "fucking bitch" because she mistakenly parked where he was going to pull the uhaul. I believe that behavior was unacceptable and no person should be talked to like that. Used the truck for one day, was still charged for 3 days without being prorated. So I lost money and my family was disrespected. Will make sure all of my friends and family in the Columbia area knows and will not use this location.

Customer service at this location is very poor. They lack any interest of the customer. My rental before this was botched as well. I was instructed my debit card would not be charged but only used to hold the reservation, and once I came in I could post a cash deposit. By the time I had checked in the card had already been swiped for the $105.00 deposit. ****was told the deposit was only $100.00. This store needs corporate attention and a greater concern for the customer. Thanks

The cab of the truck was dirty (litter). Only one employee working. She talked way too fast going over the rental agreement.

The sales person was very helpful and friendly, in and out quickly which helped since my car was broke down sitting in Columbia.

When I called this morning to inquire about a trailer, the call was apparently routed to a call center, which I did not realize. The call taker really tried to pressure me into giving my credit card info over the phone. When I said I was just coming down to the store, I was not informed the U-haul store was CLOSED. I waited in the parking lot for half an hour before the doors opened. Poor customer service.

When we returned the trailer we rented the man that helped us was very rude!

1. The truck was dirty. 2. The guy hooked up a tow dolly that he knew was broken. He told me to be careful because the ramp would fall all the way out. 3. He over inflated my tires to get the car on the tow dolly. When my car was about to jump the ramp 120 miles later, I couldn't even take it off because he deflated the tires back down after it was loaded. 4. He left the appliance dolly off of the truck. The drive to the uhaul was 22 miles one way. This guy should not be there.

Training, training, training!!! People need to be friendly and not so matter of fact in their comments of how the process will work. Answers seemed condescending and I felt they were doing me a favor to work with me. Assume the customer knows nothing and walk them through the process and procedures. Did not ask if there were any items I needed such as boxes, locks, etc...

I was charged for 1 extra mile when we returned the vehicle. The charge was no big deal - although the principle irritated me a bit. Per MapQuest, the total distance from the pick-up location - to my home - to my moving destination - and to the drop off location is 135 miles. U-Haul allowed me "139 miles". What was not accounted for by U-Haul was a different route I took home from the pick-up location so that I could get gas in the truck, a pull off while en-route to eat lunch and, a slightly different route to the drop off so I could once again get gasoline to match where it was when I picked it up. Again - the extra 1 mile charge was irrelevant. The "allotted" miles by U-Haul was just way to "tight".

My only comment is this. I was delayed (long story) so I had to return the vehicle after hours. No big deal: I have done that many times. Except that some $&@&$?$& had parked a truck so close to my own vehicle that I had to go into the passenger door and climb across the stick. No joke. No question that it was deliberate.
