You really need to streamline your check-in procedure. I called ahead to get a price to rent an enclosed trailer to haul a few trees from a nursery to my home. Your person wouldn't give me a price without asking me many, many questions that were not relevant at all. It must have taken me 20 minutes on the phone to just get a price. I finally reserved the trailer. When I got to the location, they had trouble finding which trailer was reserved for me. Gave me another, only to try to stop the attachment to my vehicle because they found it had an open work order on it. Wasn't really an open work order so they finally let us have the trailer. The woman checking us out was confused and the transaction again took an extremely long time. Finally, we were allowed to leave with our trailer, probably after another 20 minutes, and the driveway was blocked and we had to sit and wait for two other vehicles. Extremely frustrating process.

Hard to maneuver through the yard. Access is terrible if they are very busy. The folks working there make up for that though. Very good service.

The only reason I couldn't rate the location overall as excellent is because the parking situation is terrible for both the UHaul trucks and the non-existant customer parking (6 spots counting handicap). Otherwise the employees are fantastic, nice, understanding, and knowledgeable.

Although the equipment was clean, I was surprised the windshield wasn't cleaned from the last rental. It was still very dirty from the last rental or two.

First of all we ordered a 26 footer six weeks ahead of time you would think that they would have plenty of time to fulfill the order. When we arrived the truck wasn't ready, and it took an hour to find out what truck we were getting and we left with one truck and came back the other one was supposed to be hooked up to a truck hauler by the time we got back it wasn't and the place was a damn zoo. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs if you can they lack professionalism and capability.

Both manager Cindy and Daniel were most helpful in getting us the right truck, on time with pleasant and efficient customer service. In a busy day, they made the time to put the customer first. Well done!!

Hi, I recently rented a U-Haul truck from the College Rd. branch in Fairbanks, and everything went well with the rental. However, I noticed that the General Manger was somewhat curt with both customers and her fellow employees, and I thought that possibly some improvements in her customer service and interpersonal/management skills could improve operations at the branch. She was helpful though, and again, everything went well with the rental. Thanks!

Better customer service. I reserved via phone. The agent was abrupt, short, talked really fast, I had to ask him to repeat himself constantly. Checking the truck out was ok. I was checked back in by the GM Cindy who was extremely rude and cranky. I just wanted to get out of there. In 10 years of using that particular U-haul this was the worst customer service experience I've had. Cindy did tone down her attitude when we were almost finished. I don't think she wanted to chect the returned truck back in. I only had the truck for two hours and less than 10 miles.

Have the equipment ready when promised. They sent me out for a 35 mile round trip without confirming the other location was open to pick up a truck that wasn't available due to the store being closed on Sunday. Then made me wait an additional 3 hours after returning while they replaced a broken side mirror on the truck I ultimately received - I ended up getting to my destination significantly later than I had anticipated and all in all was a generally bad experience.

Very slow, the manager was degrading other employees while clusters were present. Did not tell me I would be automatically charged for hand truck for moving it out of my way

We rented a car dolly. The rachets were in poor working condition. We told the person checking us in about it and it seems that it was a known fact that the equipment was in poor working condition. Also, the customer service rep was too busy ordering dinner to be able to assist me. If you're going to order pizza, do it in a back room or office; not at the counter for all the customers to listen to.

It was very inconvenient to spend 25 minutes getting a truck rental. Also, inconvenient having to provide a boss/employee and contact number just to rent the truck. I'm not a criminal and have no intention of stealing a used van. To make matters worse the clerk didn't return my identification badge after I returned the van. I was called 2 minutes before closing to pick up my ID badge in the morning.

When I arrived with the 26 foot box truck that I did not need, the parking lot was a disaster. Too many vehicles cluttering up the small area. I went inside only to find out that this location didn't even have me on file and when they found me in the system their records showed that I had driven a different truck. Then there came the accusatory questions of did I switch trucks or did I take the wrong truck or didn't I verify the truck number with my contract. I took the truck that they gave me, simple as that! Also, in my contact I was required to leave the fuel level at half a tank. I filled the tank entirely, thinking I would get reimbursed for the $115 that went into the truck's tank. However I was informed that "we don't do reimbursements", which left a bitter taste in my mouth. Not only did I drive a truck that I did not want nor need, but I was getting stiffed for the extra gas that I put in the tank of this truck. U-haul got over $100 worth of free gas from me. You're welcome.
