Latch to secure right loading ramp was broken. Ramp came loose while traveling. Otherwise trailer handled very well.

I was very disappointed to find that i was charged a $500 charge on my card because we were late returning the trailer that day. When arrangements were made, we were assured the truck was due back Friday evening. Someone put it was due back at 10:00am on contract and when we returned it that same evening, I was informed i was charged a $500 charge to " get our attention" This was poor, buisiness and I plan to never use Uhaul again. I'm not sure if this is "standard " business for UHaul or just this particular location. I rented a Uhaul from a different location a month ago, and they were very helpful and had a pleasant experience. I was "credited " back the balance on my Card but, I was using the Church Card and now accounting has to do more paperwork because this location wanted to "Get our attention" Hopefully, it was just this location, but I will be looking into other rental companies in the future. - Joey Inskeep

U-haul system (NOT Two Fat Guys), is a bit off in describing a truck with a 14 foot floor and three feet of pretty worthless overhang above the driver as a "17 foot truck". While I have rented smaller trucks from Uhaul and got exactly what I expected, this experience, and the additional trip I had to make since the truck was not the same as ANY OTHER companies 17 foot truck, will probably mean I will go elsewhere in the future.

The trailer was not attached to the hitch properly. You could train employees how to properly attach a trailer to the vehicle.

I did not like how the call was made the day before pick up. Also, the location of the pickup was VERY inconvenient for me. It was nearly 15 miles away from me.

Make sure you have the trailer you say you do during reservation. We reserved a 6x12 trailer, found out the day of our move that it was not available. We received a 5×10, it was very old and a lot smaller than we expected. Had to make multiple trips to move the things we planned on moving in the 6×12. Very unpleasant experience

I rented a trailer website wanted it for at least 24 hours got there at 5:15 pm to pick it up and was told had have it back by 8 am ask if there was anything else I could rent truck or any thing and was told no all was booked the guy could even lift the trailer to hook it up I had to do it .Then I returned it at about 11:30pm so I could rest longer in the morning put papers in key drop box and they called at 8:30 am woke me ask me when I was going bring trailer back Then I was by there about 2 in afternoon and the trailer was still parked where I parked it at the night before I also called uhaul the night I picked it up and the lady was not helpful or did she care about problem I had and I told her maybe I need not use uhaul anymore and I rent sometimes twice a month for me or my work and she said well maybe not if you feel that way and hung up

Make sure the A/C works. Make sure the breaks aren't metal on metal. Make sure not to make your customers drive 100mi out if the way because the truck wasn't at the location in the confirmation email.

Originally made reservation with dealer in Mooresville, In. Reason being I live 2 miles down the road. I was forced to drive to Greenwood, In which was 16 miles (one way) from where I live. I was not happy at all about this and no one was willing to work with me on this inconvience. I placed the reservation in Mooresville because that's where I live. If I wanted inconvience I would have place my reservation as far as possible. Therefore Uhaul will receive a poor rating from me for customer service.

They charged me when i picked up the truck and again when i broight it back. Manager "Chris" was not at the at the time and when called by an employee he would not get on the phone, while i was there another customer was bringing their uhaul back and the same thing happened to him. When the manager "Chris" called me back he said the problem was with my bank!!!!! I would absolutely not refer anyone I know to go there!!!

gave info over the phone and got a reservation number then had to provide the same info again when I got to location. I had a reservation number. Shouldn't the info have been with my reservation? And if not, why did I go through all the BS in the first place? Might be a good idea to tell people they need a plate number for the towing vehicle when they rent a trailer. Was a pain to take more time to go back out to get plate number of my truck.

The engine on the truck I rented was in terrible shape. It took 2-3 tries to get the thing started and then the high pitched whining/grinding noise was awful for another 30+ seconds. The gas gauge was broken; the transmission kept slipping out of reverse to neutral and the steering was miserable. The agent told me not to worry about the box of wires (fuses) that kept falling from under the dash onto my feet. I finally was able to secure it to a plastic mount frame on the left side so the dangling fuse box did not interfere with driving. I chose not to make a second trip to move furniture as originally planned on Sunday because I was concerned about the vehicle.

We reserved a truck in downtown Indianapolis or north of Indianapolis and were very disappointed to learn only the night prior to the move that we must drive to Greenwood; It required an extra 1.5 hours of drive time before loading/packing for an out of state move. Thought the local personnel were pleasant and helpful, we strongly feel the central reservation service and information was misleading and inaccurate. Would not wholeheartedly recommend U-Haul to a friend or foe.

Been using U-Haul for 20+ years. This is by far the easiest, cleanest and most professional location I've experienced. Thank you!
