Employee was surprised when I told him the wiring pigtail was mine. He told me that it should have been part of the trailer.

Not all charges were explained when I picked up the rental. Being caught with additional charges I wasn't expecting is not good business.

The equipment was not clean in the driver's compartment, it looked like the exterior of the vehicle had been abused, there were ex's everywhere.

AMANDA G. on 9/29/2014

He was very polite and dropping off my equipment was a breeze, easier move I've ever had thanks to them!

The 17' truck had a leak. It's not okay when you pay $126.00 and you bed gets wet.

This was an ideal way to go! I rented a 9' van, and it rode smoothly and was sturdy and up to the task. I would highly recommend UHaul to everyone! And I love that they were open on Sundays!

Although I was told a trailer was available in Great Falls I had to drive to Helena to pick it up, at my expense.

BROOKE P. on 9/17/2014

The owner is rude and has zero sense of customer service. I will never go to this location again.

Had to wait almost an hour upon returning my truck for checkout because they couldn't figure out how to do it. Originally wanted a 17' out of Butte but got a call a few days before the rental that there were no 17', no 14' & only one 20' with broken A/C. Had to pick up a truck from Helena to roundtrip back & wasted all that gas money. Got an old, nasty truck. I did opt for the safemove plus but manager still insisted I thoroughly check the truck before leaving. Inquired on the $50 "guarantee" only to have the manager tell me to call Uhaul who told me to contact the manager & the Uhaul "traffic" rep was very rude. We have moved a lot & used Uhaul, Penske & Budget & I can safely say this was the worst experience I've ever had with a rental truck by far.

It is not up to them and even though I received a larger truck for the smaller one's price I really would like the size I ordered. I know it cost me more in gas money.

Reduce the bull shit lawyer paperwork. I came to use a truck for a couple of hours and had to go through a half hour of read this, sign that, show your whatever, inspect, examine, etc. There's got to be a quicker, better way!!!

NATHAN M. on 9/3/2014

I originally requested a 17' truck. I was "upgraded" to a 20' truck due to high volume of rentals. While it was pitched as an upgrade, I didn't need the additional room and I'm sure I had to pay more in gas over the course of my trip due to the larger truck.

Great place, clean, nice personalities, nothing but helpful.

James H. on 9/2/2014

The truck had been used to transport fish or crabs, cleaning the truck would have been a great start. The price was a bit ridiculous, 430 dollars for 116 miles, no option to drop off back in helena, was forced to return to bozeman so the charge could be 150 more than if i had driven back 100 miles. Also the mileage calculation leaves no room for detours or issues on the road.
