This site I'd so poorly situated. It has an utility pole in middle of parking and there's not much of that. My trailer had not been cleaned out. There was trash inside.

Make sure truck is up to date with maintenance. We were 400 miles out when truck needed oil change. This took an act of congress to get UHaul to help. Truck ran much better after. It was known that I was moving cross country. I am not pleased. This caused extra night in motel and complete change of route. I will contact UHaul to fight for at least fifty percent of fee refund.

My reservation got moved to another location because my first selection did not have the truck. It was another 10 miles in each direction to drive the truck and take it back... I didn't mind going and getting the truck but why are we PENALIZED the mileage ($.99 a mile) because you did not have the truck in the correct location! I should not have to pay the mileage to and back from a farther location because of your inventory. Why don't you just send me to Baton Rouge and get 60-70 miles in each direction? This is a VERY poor way of conducting business. Any other retailer would not charge you more for their product if you went to another location to pick up an item that was not in stock at the location you were at. Of course this adds money to your bottom line and is a profit center. It sure has every look and feel of a scam to make more profit. William in the branch where we picked up the truck was awesome, but U-Haul has left a VERY bad taste in our mouth... as well as our wallet. Jeff Snowden 214-682-5333

The service clerk that rented me the vehicle gave us a vehicle that had 14,000 more miles on it than the rental agreement. Also, there were not enough miles allotted for the trip; we were already 14 miles over when we arrived at our destination. Lastly, when we were turning in the vehicle, uhauls system still had the wrong vehicle information. It showed as if we had rented the vehicle for a year! Horrible experience!

When we went to pick up the truck the guy was rude and unfriendly. I asked if he had a bigger truck he said no because he had already gotten the 14 inch truck. He was listening to his music with his headphones on while he was suppose to be helping us.

Crappy truck broke down on interstate 10 over the Spillway Bridge. I called the office and was transferred directly to Arizona where the girl had no idea of where I was broken down and how dangerous that part of interstate is. They sent me a tow truck all the way from New Orleans east which had to go all the way to Laplace out West, then turnaroud and come back East. When I got back to the office the "Manager" William Burton acted like nothing happened and didn't want to hear my story. Yeah sure he comped me $10 of the daily rental but then he decided to charge me $10 for pads and then an extra $5 for a dolly. Crazy because I wanted to rent the $10 pad and dolly package this morning, but they did not have any dollies left and I was told I would only pay the $5 for pads. Needless to say I was highly pissed and disappointed and still have not heard back from William Burton the store "manager".

Manager and associate need to improve customer relation and service, specially the clerk that waited on me today, she said things she couldn't fulfill and keep. Spoke with Manager and he was not cooperative and happy or eager to hear and resolve my issue.However, he apologized but the way he handle me was with an attitude of"do not bother me".

I would only recommend this place because of its location, not the service. The person who helped us Sunday morning was rude. Before he slid our card we asked if it would charge the rental, and he said no. As soon as we slid the card we received a notification on our phone for that amount. We have to wait a week now for a credit. If you don't know the answer don't assume. If you don't want to work with the public find something else.

Make sure gas level is correct and when its not, update the computer and give me new paperwork so I don't get over charged. Also, make sure the ac works in the truck.

THE lady (Ms Martinez) that worked at this place (Vets & Williams , kenner ,la )was rude and fussing at me . SHe could not find paper work and would not let me tell her I drove in from another city. Ms Martinez you need to work on your people skills.
