Online I was able to not select the $10 insurance fee. At the store it was a requirement to have the insurance. Apparently the online nationwide policy/website differs from the local operators. My fee was refunded when it was noted that the online U-Haul doesn't match their store. This needs to be addressed and corrected for customer satisfaction/information.

The customer service was non existent, very poor. It was like I was bothering the employees to hell me. I am very disappointed with the leve of customer friendly service. I was speaking to an employee and he just walked off without replying.

Training to equip customer-facing associates in modifying their "Norms", when dealing with customers, mindful that mannerisms in how they relate to peers cannot!, transcend to their communication with employer's customers; especially in trying to resolve local issues which their lack of procedural accountability created in the first place; then having the audacity to directly accuse your customer of the problem you created, then to compound the disrespect, by using threat tactics of additionally charging your customer for your mistake..Really!!!

Jonathan was great! Originally I was supposed to pick up a truck at another location and was notified 45 minutes prior that they didn't have a truck because they had rented it to someone else. Jonathan was able to provide a truck at the last minute and was very professional and provided great customer service!!. Would definitely recommend him and this location. Not so for original location as they were very rude and horrible customer service.

COMMUNICATION WITH CUSTOMERS NEEDS TO IMPROVE! I was very unpleased that I was told I could return my truck to any location and when I got 40 miles away to my destination unloaded and was ready to return the truck called uhaul to find the nearest location customer service said I had to bring the truck back 40 miles where I picked it up from because I was put on a LOCAL contract. I was not asked if I would even be moving to another state, how would the truck have gotten back then? I called and talked with scheduling reps and managers who all told MD different things one even said they would change the address for me so I wouldn't get hit with a penalty fee for bringing it back to another location, but another rep wouldn't let them change it. The penalty fee is double the one way charge. The ending conclusion was for me to put another 40 miles times .79¢ a mile to bring it back to the pickup location and then have someone bring me back 40 miles home after having them help Mr move all day. I find this very inconsiderate and irresponsible. Someone a manager or a rep should have been able to change the address for me to have brought my rental 0.7 miles to the uhaul near my new home.

This site I'd so poorly situated. It has an utility pole in middle of parking and there's not much of that. My trailer had not been cleaned out. There was trash inside.

Make sure truck is up to date with maintenance. We were 400 miles out when truck needed oil change. This took an act of congress to get UHaul to help. Truck ran much better after. It was known that I was moving cross country. I am not pleased. This caused extra night in motel and complete change of route. I will contact UHaul to fight for at least fifty percent of fee refund.

TRUCK WAS NOT CLEAN AT ALL ESPECIALLY FOR A NEWER UNIT (30,000 MILES). CARGO AREA WAS OK BUT INTERIOR AND ESPECIALLY INTERIOR WINDOWS WERE FILTHY TO THE POINT THAT IT WAS HARD TO DRIVE.

My reservation got moved to another location because my first selection did not have the truck. It was another 10 miles in each direction to drive the truck and take it back... I didn't mind going and getting the truck but why are we PENALIZED the mileage ($.99 a mile) because you did not have the truck in the correct location! I should not have to pay the mileage to and back from a farther location because of your inventory. Why don't you just send me to Baton Rouge and get 60-70 miles in each direction? This is a VERY poor way of conducting business. Any other retailer would not charge you more for their product if you went to another location to pick up an item that was not in stock at the location you were at. Of course this adds money to your bottom line and is a profit center. It sure has every look and feel of a scam to make more profit. William in the branch where we picked up the truck was awesome, but U-Haul has left a VERY bad taste in our mouth... as well as our wallet. Jeff Snowden 214-682-5333
