The Manage at this location is a straight up guy, it's just to bad the guy he had answering the phone at 12:40 pm on 3/25/15 is incompetent!. He was rude and eventually hung up on me and didn't even have the gall to pick up after I called back, (he let it go to the main operators). We do a lot of business through U-Haul and I think this guy has forgotten that if it weren't for the PUBLIC he would not have a paycheck! Or maybe he doesn't need one? Maybe he should look somewhere else instead of trying to deal with the public! He is seriously lacking! It's a shame because the manager at this location and some of the other guys we have met have always been good! This guy, I know the voice, works in the back part. Older guy, has a tattoo in rememberance of his daughter. Guess he didn't think I would remember his voice.

Make sure trucks are cleaned before next person gets them. Have equipment there on its reserve date and not the day after and charge an extra day for their mess up.

the equipment itself was not really clean but due to weather conditions probably normal

The on-line reservation process was ineffective and inaccurate. I made my reservation online with the UHaul reservation system three days before I was going to pick my trailer. Within 24hrs from the time of my pick-up, I was notified by the Fargo, ND Uhaul office "Anna" that the nearest trailer was 120 miles away from the Minot, ND (where I registered online to pick it up from). In other words my travel plans instantly collapsed. Anna attempted to help me with an alternative option(s), but my truck cannot pull the larger trailers that she had suggested. I asked to speak with the Fargo, ND, Uhaul manager (Kathy). She was not able to return my call until the next day because she had other work-related commitments throughout the day that I had called. So, I was left somewhat stranded trying to figure out a solution. I called the Uhaul 24hour number (later that night-the night before I'm scheduled to drive 1700 miles with the trailer) to see if there were an alternate options. The Uhaul representative said that she could not access my account and that the "computer was down" and she could not help me. Instead she gave me the number for the Uhaul customer service, "Emanual." He was able to logically go through options and help me come up with a feasible solution. Emanual gets a 10 out of 10 in customer service (highest rating available). The Fargo, ND Uhaul office gets a 0 out of 10 in customer service (the lowest possible score). The Minot, ND Uhaul gets an 8 out of 10 in customer service.

They need some gravel dumped on the lot because it is a muddy mess with the thaw. Everyone at the location was very professional and courteous! Thanks.

young lady at counter seemed too busy to be bothered, summoned young man to help unhook trailer and he never spoke to me, even when I was clearing addressing him....rude

I had to wait 30 min after the truck was issued to me for the attendant to clean the ice off of the windshield. At one point I had to show him how to use an ice scraper. When I did take the truck he had given up on the window, I could only see out a 1 sq/ft spot in the windshield. He didn't provide the ice scraper, and the cab was filthy.

Better maintenance program should be highly considered. Hole in roof of trailer rental and water became present inside, ruining several belongings. Poor maintenance/quality.

No directional signs for where to drop off, just one sign on one building... put up some signs so a person doesn't have to drive up and down all the aisles of buildings to find where to drop off.

No improvements imaginable! Nicest storage facility I've ever seen (I've seen many) with great security and accommodations (i.e.: Sliding, motion-activated glass doors; hauling carts specifically for for mattresses and pictures as well as flat carts for boxes etc.). Also, the moving pick-up was almost new and customer service followed through with "price-match" (or "beat") as advertisement near the street. Excessively satisfied! -Doug Noyes

I rented from Uhaul for the first time in the summer of 2014. I can't believe I have not utilized their services prior to this, Uhaul provides an extremely economical service. if you only need to haul stuff occasionally it is more cost efficient to rent from Uhaul than it is to own your own hauling assests. All of the sites, I have dealt with have been knowledgeable and helpful.

The trailer I rented was not mechanically sound. The door came open while on the road and we lost some of our personal belongings as well as clothes. I will be filing a claim with Safe Tow.

Keep website current and updated. The website stated there was a certain trailer at a specific location. After arriving to that location, I was informed that there wasn't the requested trailer available. Due to time, I had to rent a trailer that was not ideal for my move. I also called the uhaul hotline to locate a specific trailer, and I was informed that they could not assist me, unless I wanted to list off zip codes around my location.

I sat in the office for twenty minutes, another lady had been there twenty before me, before we were helped. When i called the number for the storenit went to general customer service an they couldnt get a hold of anyone either. Then they informed me of a forty dollar 'deposit' tht wout be needed above and beyond the total. This wasnt mentioned anywhere when i reserved a van. Then they told me to fill it to where it was when i returned it in fuel. Understandable. I drove approximately 11 miles in the van and they said i needed to put 4.9 gallons in it to get it back. I didnt leave it running ir anything so if thats yhe case it has worse gas mileagr than a semi pulling a couple tons in a snow and wind storm. The man i returned it to was rude and told me the refund if the 'deposit' would be by the next day. Nope. It was all very upsetting. And they had me by the short hairs because i had to move asap. Never again will i use this Uhaul

We used the website to rent a u-haul for 24 hours. When we arrived to pick it up, we were told they had double booked the truck and that it would be needed to be returned in four hours. The employees were unwilling to pro-rate the fee, offer a discount or any other perk. We paid full price for the truck even though we were only able to use it for four out of the 24 hours. Very frustrating experience.

At least for cross country/one-way moves you should at least offer diesel trucks. They tow better, have better gas mileage than the 7.7 of gasoline engines, they do better up hills and can take a lot more miles on the engine.
