The general manager was sarcastic. I had difficulty closing the overhead door on the truck and went for help. He said he knew exactly what was wrong and showed us. Told us to use a crowbar to loosen it. When my friend then asked if there would be damage to the truck and would I be charged he said well yes. We walked away and called another u haul number who assisted us.

I had requested a u haul trailer almost 3 weeks in advance and when I went to pick my trailer up it wasn't there. No one knew why so they sent me to the customer service number and I found out there was never a u haul available for me in the first place. They told me there would be one available 3 days later, which was 3 days too late. I had to have my stuff loaded and out of my home that day. I've never been so stressed or irritated with a move. Needless to say I will be finding another way to get my belongings transported again if need be.

Clarify where does it say in the contract at what time it is expectedto return equiptment and if some other dealer out of state rents the equipment before being turned in, that should not be the costumers problem. Rushing me when I had time reserved to turn in equipment is ridiculous.

My daughter so in tears when I unloaded her furniture. The dust that came into the trailer was terrible. We had to on the steps of her new apartment wash down everything. The seal around the door was full of holes which allowed the trailer to fill with dirt and dust. I feel I deserve so compensation for all the extra work we went through. I had such high hopes renting this trailer but feel U-Haul dropped the ball on this one. I would like to speak to some about this matter. Sincerely Jeff Krueger

July 31, 2015 UHaul To whom it may concern: Because I have just moved, I had to wait over a week to get internet and phone installed in my new house. I just got internet and phone installed this week, which has now given me the opportunity to gather all of my documentation regarding an outrageous error on the part of Uhaul, which not only ended up costing me hundreds of extra dollars, but also several extra hours of time and considerable inconvenience to myself and those who assisted me in acquiring an autotransport (which SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN MINOT on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 6:30 pm as I reserved and was assured). First of all, I made my reservation on 7/4/2015. I originally requested a late afternoon, early evening time to pick up my UHaul and autotransport. My reservation number was 92771152. I have the documentation for proof. • When I was contacted regarding the equipment I reserved, I was told that my equipment would be at the Minot Uhaul, ready for pick up at 6:30 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2015. • I got to UHaul between 6:15 & 6:30 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2015. The time I had been given to pick up my equipment was 6:30 pm. • A 26 foot truck was available for me to pick up, however, an autotrasport to fit my 2015 Highlander was not there as had been reserved. • I was told by Uhaul personnel that the person who was supposed to have dropped off the autotrahnsport at 1:00 still had it. • Uhaul personnel then got ahold of the individual who had the autotransport I reserved and I was then told that the autotransport would be there before 7:00 pm that evening, Thursday, July 16, 2015. • It was suggested to me by UHaul personnel that I could come back on Friday to pick up my autotransport. • I told her that was not an option because I lived in Plaza and that would be close to 100 extra miles for me to go back to Plaza and then come back to pick it up. • In the meantime, friends were waiting for me to meet them at their house in Minot. I contacted them by phone to let them know that I was waiting for the autotransport. • The friends stated that they would be willing to pick up the autotransport for me and bring it to me (with my Highlander on it) on Saturday since they were going to come and help me load the remaining of the Uhaul van on Saturday morning. • The gal at the desk ASSURED me that the autotransport would be there, with my name on it on Friday and that my friends could pick it up and that no one else would be able to take it since I had reserved it. • When my friends arrived on Saturday morning (approximately 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.) to pick up my autotransport, there was no autotransport for my vehicle, as I had reserved, and had been assured there would be. • As a result, I spent nearly three hours, using my my cell phone talk minutes. This caused me to run out of talk minutes on my cell phone until my monthly plan renews on August 14. In the meantime, it costs me $.25/minute to talk on my cell phone. This has not hap

I'm hesitant to recommend because of one person on the lot. My family has a history of always choosing Uhaul when we move because it is always reliable. However, when I go in to your location on 2505 N Broadway, and your sales associate, Lyle, is more concerned with "flipping" the trucks for sales and making you feel pressured to take one or you'll miss out, or ask me what time that very day I will have it back, it makes me not want to go back. Moving is stressful enough as it is, and I realize we are in a busy season, but if I'm paying for an entire 24 hours or more I want to keep it for that long. Not get a sales person shaking his head and making me worried for taking it and him not getting it back in a few hours to give it to someone else. Shame on you.

I rented a trailer with a garage style rear door. Once we got to the pickup location 60 miles away we went to open the door and it would only open up one to two feet. We had to have my small brother crawl in under the door and un jam it every time we had to open the door. Without him we wouldn't have been able to use the trailer. I let the guy receiving the trailer this morning know about it and he didn't seem to care at all. I was not very impressed.

No input, but did want to comment on the staff there. Everyone courteous and professional. Lyle did a great job on my hitch. Another fellow there (Dennis?) was also quite helpful. I was most impressed by Alice's ability to perform strenuous tasks. Again, all these people were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. Great job! Because of you my U-haul experience was a pleasant one.

204 dollars to use a uhaul in town, during the week, and drive it a total of 40 miles is disgusting. Manager was rude and dismissive.

Make sure the trucks are completely operational. I had no a/c the back door was so stiff I had a hard time closing it, and since when is it the customers responsibility to help your company check the lights, blinkers and so on.. very disappointed.

I was disappointed that when I ordered a vehicle to be located at the U-Haul location in south Minot, a block away from my house, I was told by an employee at this store that it would be there, no problem. Since it was an in-town move that it wouldn't be a big deal. I went to verify this about 2 days prior and was told that this couldn't happen. That U-Haul didn't have the employees to move the truck 5 miles to the south. I asked for the extra mileage to be waived for me and they said they couldn't do it. It is disappointing that the regional customer service line that I called after speaking with the local manager essentially argued with me and did nothing to apologize for my inconvenience or try to cut down on my additional expense. Nothing was done to even try and meet me halfway. Very disappointing.

I only had the u haul for about 8 hours and they charged me for 2 days. I'm not sure of the policy but I do feel that is wrong. Just because the office is closed doesn't mean I should be charged.
