The motorcycle trailer I rented had a short in the wiring for the brake light/turn signals. U-Haul could have gotten in trouble with the sheriff deputies.

The truck was a old price of crap Brake failure , wheels on passenger side over 40 mph was shaking just a piece of junk This truck was a 2000 after all these years can't believe it's still in your fleet .

I rented a 4x8 trailer for a move from miami to colorado. They gave me the oldest most rusty with one bald tire trailer that they had. The way the trailer looks, to me, represents the company while it is on the road.

I frequently use this location, but was the first time using the smaller trailer. One of the tires had low tire pressure and I didn't know it until I started loading. Realizing that the outside attendants never double check the tire pressure before releasing it, recommend implementing the practice.

This was not my preferred drop location. The location right down the street from me would not accept the trailer. So I had to drive 30 minutes farther.

Everyone was very helpful and understanding. We rented the truck for one day but couldn't get the job done that day. When I called to extend the contract for one more day, they were not only helpful but also very understanding. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Long wait. We had to wait over an hour to get a truck we had already reserved. We had to wait outside in the Miami heat and humidity. They were waxing the floors during business hours, which left less of the area available in the store. When I first went there they helped load boxes and told me to park the car close by. The next few times I went to get more boxes they told me not to park close by, and then I had to walk farther to load boxes without any help offered.

I rented an Auto Transport for a 4,500 mile Miami-Denver-Miami round trip. Knowing this was a LONG trip, I visited this U-Haul center a few days in advance for preparation. I asked if they had a floor jack to check bearings by lifting the axle. "Yes., Sure Thing" the rep said. Well, upon arrival on my pickup date, a different rep indicated they didn't have any floor jacks. The trailer was wedged in a tight space, so it was necessary to hook up to my truck & pull out before I could do the inspection. I discovered out of the 4 tires, one of them had only 15 lbs of air pressure (not obvious due to the second axle supporting the weight). I had to choose another trailer, pull it also out of its wedged-in storage space, & do an inspection all over again 1.). Regardless that I am a mechanic by profession and I came prepared with a floor jack of my own "just in case", I am still a paying customer. The facility had a full shop (it wasn't a smaller "gas station" retail place). I would have expected them to at least have a floor jack of their own on premise to lift the wheel off the ground. …besides, I went out of my way days previous IN PERSON to ask that exact question. Don't give out wrong answers to such a simple question as "Do you have a floor jack…?" 2.) The flat tire was another inconvenience because I had to select another trailer & do another full inspection. I already had my own floor jack and lug wrench…would have been much easier to just swap rim & tire from another trailer. Nope, can't do that, they said. I can't believe a full shop setting as this location didn't have a floor jack of their own. Furthermore, I was extremely discouraged that I couldn't do the "logical" thing & just swap tires with a known good one. No, instead I had to waste more time by selecting another Auto Transport and do everything all over again. …a waste of time and energy. My expectation to just do paperwork, hook up, and depart for my trip was crushed. Good thing I had a spare shirt to change into; I was dripping in sweat by the time this 1 + half hour ordeal finished. Good thing I had a floor jack of my own "just in case". I am VERY disappointed in this experience. I simply elected to do the full inspection myself because I dis not want any problems "down the road". Imagine if I had a tire blow-out in the middle of nowhere with a full load. I am the paying customer doing THEIR job. Not Nice. I had a simple tire-swap solution they couldn't agree to. …idiots.

Although the store did not open until 9 I was told to return the truck at 8:30. I arrived at 8:30 and the representatives refused to help me until exactly 9 am when the store officially opened even though I was only there to drop off a truck I rented the previous day.

Get better fuel-efficient trucks. I found the gas millage to unacceptable. I got on average less than 5-miles per gallon. I have driven tractor-trailers that have gotten 11-miles per gallon in the city. My next move I will be looking into renting a diesel truck from Budget or Penske the cost difference is made up in the fuel cost and then some.

The drop off takes too long. Every employee should be capable of doing all the general actions In the location. If you have 3 people working the location there should be more than one at the counter when you have 6 people in line.

Nothing I can think of. My only problem was figuring out how much gas to refill because the gauge is hard to figure especially when you cannot read the gauge while pumping and gas station does not let you pump when the engine is off - last time I estimated better, this time looks like I pumped about 3-4 gallons too much which may not sound like much but at $4/gallon it is a few dollars. I may rent again this coming weekend and I hope I can guess better. Otherwise, my experience is usually great.

The wait time to be helped by a service member is too long. It takes far too much time every time I am there. There should be 2 lines-- one for people with reservations and one for people without. I made a reservation so I find it frustrating to have to wait for people who show up last minute.

The Traffic makes this location hard to access. It's hard to see oncoming traffic when you exit. Otherwise this place is top notch...

Get more personnel Sunday mornings at store opening. There was only 1 person at the desk helping a long line of customers at 9am (store opening). This time is important since everyone is returning rentals.
