When I dropped off the truck I accidentally left my parking pass in the window, so I called that AM to let them know I'll be by to get it. When I got there they claimed they didn't see it but as I was leaving I passed it posted in the window so I had to turn around to get the key........FYI I'm very unhappy about the price I paid

I was overcharged. I called immediately upon receipt of the charge. I was transferred to an out of state office that could not correct it. So I drove back to the U-haul location and spoke to Shelby. She saw that I was incorrectly charged : charged for 2 days instead of 1 and billed 197 miles @ .29. The contract was for 1 day for 78.00 that included the first 100 miles before the .29 per mile. She did not have authority to make the correction. I am still waiting for the manager to correct the error. If its not done by noon, I will make another trip. I should bill them for mileage for 2 trips to correct there error!

I was unhappy with the fact that I went into our Board St. location and set up the rental (which is where I returned a trailer I had rented 6 months before) and told them I wanted to pick it there the following week. The order was done, and the MORNING I was to pick the trailer I was called and told to pick it up at the Lombardy locaiton which not being from Richmond I was not sure where it was and the gentiman said he could not send me directions to it only give me the street address. I had rented this trailer 6 months before as my wife and I had to relocate to the area for 6 months while I had a transplant for cancer. I was really thrown back that the day I was to pick up the trailer they moved my pick up location to another place.

The location was experiencing a computer problem with a financial institution that resulted in very poor service, though the fault was not theirs. As frustrating as it was to spend more than an hour picking up a truck, I don't think our experience was typical. The manager could not have been more helpful once he was brought into the situation. There was also a problem with one of the packing blankets that we rented. It ended up being damp, and had taken the finish off of a desk when we unwrapped it at our destination. We have no way of knowing whether the packing blanket was placed in an area of the truck that had not been dried after cleaning, whether the fact that the movers packed it upside down was a problem (as the desk sat on the damp blanket for 18 hours, or whether the movers that packed us did something to cause the problem. All we know was that when the furniture was unwrapped at our destination, a large section of the top of a desk was white.

the pick up truck we rented smelled very strongly of cigarettes/swisher sweets cigars. I would have liked the attendant assisting customers outside with trucks to acknowledge me sooner- instead of just go about his business (something like "i'll be right with you" would suffice)

Truck was pretty beat up but it ran ok. The Fuel Economy gauge was broken however. $1.29 / mile was the most I've ever seen a company charge. I only went 119 miles but WOW, an additional $153 charge was hard to accept.

The customer service over the phone is what needs to be improved. I was on a call with a gentleman & in the middle of me talking he just hung up & transferred my call with out saying anything. You need to find out who took my call that day & Fire him ASAP!!!!!

Needed a pickup and trailer. Went to one location who set the rental up at another location. While going to the new location was called and directed to a third location. Needless to say I was late and got a call stating I was late for my rental pick up time and was asked if I still needed the rental. Yes and I'm arriving here now was my answer. I would have thought the pickup and trailer would be setup and ready, I was wrong. They had to jockey around pickups to find mine, search for the trailer had to find a ball hitch... needless to say not the best check out I've had... but check in was quick and easy... all in all a successful rental...

You can ask your employees to read the contracts when checking in the vehicles after they are returned. The person who checked in my vehcle the next morning after I turned in the keys charged me $7.50 for gas after I had filled the tank slightly more than it was when I picked it up. I had to call and get this straightened out when I was supposed to be taking a test for my Cost Accounting class and the wasted time and energy cost me points on my test, which really makes me angry since I paid Juniata College $14,232 to study in their Master of Accounting program this semester.

Tow Dolly's are difficault enough.You should look into adding a Fenger Side Marker Lite. It would HELP for night time traveling for/to referance the location of the dolly too road lane.

The location is a bit "tight" to get around in. However, the signage to find it is quite good because it would not be easy to find otherwise.
