Better communication between the call center and the store. Due to the poor moving help, I had to rent a 2nd vehicle from uhaul and load/unload myself. I called the location number, it went to the call center and spoke to someone about extending the rental. They said no problem, it would be an extra $20 for the day (this is at 4ish). I get a call from the store at 5:15 demanding the van, saying the call center had no authorization to extend the rental, and if I didn't have the van back by 6 pm, I would get hit with $198 in late fees, etc. There was no way I could have made it back to Saco, ME from Massachusetts in 45 minutes.

The parking situation is a wreck. There is sufficient property that "spare" trucks are parked on. The pavement needs to be expanded and a better outgoing/incoming rental developed.

Our two suggestions: 1) rain-proof the seams of the truck storage areas. It poured as we drove, and items in what you call "mom's attic", as well as at the front end of the unit got wet. All it would take is some silicone sealant along the seams in the metal...easy! 2) Work on giving people the CORRECT, EXACT addresses of where their trucks will be. When you're in an unfamiliar state, and it's almost closing time, and your dad just died which is why you're there in the first place, ease of finding a facility would be a blessing and much appreciated.

Double check the uhaul app for bugs and glitches. I ordered a 10ft truck and got a large van instead. It was raining all day yesterday and I had no choice but to take the van. The man behind the counter was pretty genuine and helpful. He did his job well and in the end I was satisfied.

The attendant who assisted me in picking up and returning the truck was rude, dismissive and condescending. He rushed through the process without answering any questions in regards to return times, late fees or inspecting for damage and would say 'have a nice weekend bye' as I spoke. When returning the truck He took the keys and didn't offer me a bill, let me know the cost and made a scene when I asked for copies prior to leaving.He was equally as rude to the customers in front of me, I would advise folks to avoid him. The rest of the staff was courteous, helpful and took time to answer questions and offer advice on packing certain items when I went to make initial reservations and purchase boxes.

I have been to this location a couple of times and noticed there are not enough employees to help the customers. Both times I had to wait at least 20 to 30 minutes before getting any help because only one employee was at the store. I really do not believe this was the fault of the employee, they were trying their best to help and provided excellent customer service, but even the other people in the store seemed frustrated with having to wait so long and almost walked out. If there were at least one or two other people available, I think it would make a difference.

Was quoted $39,50/day for trailer. When charged $159 (+) on card, attendant in Delaware said that was a "hold" of 4 days put on the card and I would be charged actual number of days (2) when I retuned trailer. Upon return in Saco, ME I was told it was a fixed 1 way charge and he could do nothing about it. I called Rehoboth Beach, DE and was told he'ld look into it and get right back to me. Never heard a thing. Subsequent messages have not been returned.

We use this location often for our small business. Travis and all of the team have been great, year after year. We highly recommend this location, and have dealt with others in the area. I was not told about the finicky gas gauge. I followed the re-fill directions as instructed. I put $12 more gas in tank than needed. Was told at drop off about how gas gauge sticks on that model truck? I asked for price adjustment and was told only a manager could adjust the bill??

The facility was woefully understaffed with a long line of customers at 7am. Then, after telling the UHaul associate that I was paying cash, he posted the bill to my credit card (I got the text message confirming this) after assuring me that my credit card was to only stay on file until I turned in the van. When my husband went to return the van, they were still understaffed with one person filling up propane tanks (instead of just replacing them with a full one like every other place) so the line of customers returning vehicles was even longer than the one at 7am. this was a horrible experience and I will actually go out of my way to steer anyone I know away from this facility and toward anyone else.
