Since this was a 1000 mile one way rental, I believe I was given a dirty (truck not washed, windows dirty inside and out, interior clean, truck given to me 2 qt. low on oil, scratches and dents all over) just to get it off their lot. Staff was professional-no complaints w/them.

I accidentally locked myself out of the uhaul. I had to have a friend go pick up the spare key at the uhaul office....turns out key did not fit and uhaul had been rekeyed. So I had to call a locksmith and they charged me $295 !!!

The trailer leaked water and damaged 4 boxes of books and a box of personal items. I purchased SafeTow coverage but I am now being told it does not cover water damage. I am very disappointed in the outcome.

I got a text from uhaul that 'per our conversation' I would drop off on el camino, in west sac about 15 miles from my new place as it was I was already pushing it mileage wise, I had been told I could drop off anywhere and then this text was telling be otherwise , I had already gone to the one about a mile from me and couldn't find a key drop off, and had just missed closing by 8 minutes, I called customer service again, the first lady I spoke to tried to transfer me to scheduling, but they had just closed at 7, so then I called back and spoke with another lady and she said they should have a drop off but if I couldn't find it she found another location in my zip code that was open until 11, luckily the person driving me back to my house said she had dropped off here before, I saw a gentleman setting the alarm to leave and asked him, apparently the opening crew had moved a trash can In front of the night key drop, so finally after being jerked around by uhaul all day I could finally be rid of this thing, moving is stressful enough without your truck rental being this much of a pain in the butt. Thankfully your customer service people are friendly and helpful.

Update Apple Maps. Apple has the location up the street, but not this one. Google Maps has this one.

Said they had a 20 foot but when we got there, all they had was a 17. Had to leave some furniture behind because of their mistake. This was after being shifted from original location and offered a 20 at the same price and since I'd decided that I needed a 20 anyway, this was good news. I am convinced that you cannot trust U Haul. You rent at your own risk. Originally rented a 17 on-line for quite a bit less than I was charged. All in all, a bad experience. Couldn't find the original quote on-line; only the final charge shows up so I can't prove it.

There were 2 issues I had at this location. 1 - I had to go back inside and track someone down when I picked the trailer up and when I dropped the trailer off despite being told someone would come out to help me. 2 - The person that hooked it up for me left the chains dragging on the ground. The chains were too long despite being twisted as far as they could be twisted. I didn't know how to fix it and I could tell by looking that this had happened before as some of the links were almost completely worn through. I showed this to the person that checked me in when I returned the trailer and they told me what I could have done to fix it. Remember your people are the experts and not everyone who RENTS knows the ins and out of how to hook up a trailer. I was in the mountains out of phone reach for a week so I couldn't call to get help with this.

This specific location made renting a truck easy there staff was very easy to work with and the manager casey was a very nice man-if I would have any improvement for them it would be at the end when I brought the truck back I had to sweep out the back of truck when there was practically nothing but dust or they would charge me a additional 25.00$ -I understand the reasons why they do this but for it to be for dust and very little dust, was kinda chuckling to me especially since the young lady sat there and watch which was soo little dust it only took maybe 20 seconds it was comical

Pls fix the a/c in the truck that i rented. The a/c cut out most of the time while driving in the hot weather. I literally have to roll down the window manually. Very irritated & sweaty during my moving. One of the rear driver tire(outer) popped on me & i have to take my time to drive to a tire shop just to replace a used tire cost me $40. It was in conveinent & i hope you guys check your tires b4 you send them trucks out to customers. Enjoy your day. Jaesyn

Nothing, my experience was great!

The open trailers should be looked at before the customer leaves. When the coverage is accepted i guess its not a big deal until during the return. There was (small) debris in the corner of the trailer. I thought nothing of it. It obviously was a big deal at check in.

By giving a grace period on returns ! I was charged 50 .00 for 30 minutes late on return . Very wrong in my opinion

I was hesitant about renting from this location due to past experiences at this store. (Long waits for a reserved truck, etc.). This experience was pleasant however. It was fast & efficient - the way it should be. :)

Stop trying to rent trucks that need to be retired. I rented a 26' truck for moving at 6:45 p.m. so I could load it at night and unload it the next day. During my trip to my home the ABS light came on so I stopped and after finally reaching someone that could advise as to whether I could use the truck or not. While waiting I had to cancel my guys that were helping me move since I didn't know if I was going to be able to have a truck available. After talking to a lady on the phone, she advised that I could use the truck as long as it was not on a slick surface. To make a long story short, it took me a extra day to move since I was unable to load it the first night. During check-in, the manager charged me for an extra day which I believe was wrong since this 174,000 mile truck was not dependable or mechanically sound! The manager acted like I should feel lucky that he didn't charge me a penalty for going past my scheduled return date. No way to run a business!
