The manager who helped me was pretty grumpy. He was doing his job pretty well, but grumbling about it the whole time. I'm sure it's not always fun, but it wasn't very pleasant to listen to him complain the whole time. Also, when I returned the trailer, I had to wait in line for about an hour. I understand that things happen and delays happen, but it seemed excessive. And i know that Saturdays, especially at the beginning or end of the month, are really busy, but you should know that and plan accordingly. The trailer was great, worked fine, etc. I would probably rent a Uhaul again, but try not to do it on a Saturday I guess.

Terrible customer service. The girl who helped me was great. The other people in the store were unfriendly and even yelled at me. But the customer service on the phone was HORRIBLE. I thought about using uhaul on my relocation across country but won't after this experience!

UHaul is such a great value! I LOVE this company. I would recommend this company to EVERYONE! How could things be improved? Well ... Pick Up: Picking up the vehicle I was ignored by the two desk staff for at least 10 minutes with only one other person in the office. Nothing intolerable, the woman was entering data into her terminal, but a "Hi! How are you? As soon as I'm done inputting (blah blah blah) I will be right with you", would have been welcome ...I thought she was ending her shift: she look closed. I had to break the silence and ask if I was in the correct line .... Weird customer service. But after I got her attention she was top rate, professional, friendly, thorough, efficient and helpful! Extension: I extend my rental twice. The first day was easy as calling and extending for another 24 hours. I was unsure if I would be able to unload in time and the agent put me at ease and told to call again if I needed to extend another day. I really appreciate the understanding and consideration. The next day I called and the woman on the other side of the phone was very impatient and bossy. Instead of helping me to solve my problem, she was only worried about the potential customers affected by my extension. I get it! You have customer reservations dependent on my returning your truck! But, it got so tense that I had to tell her to stop and listen to my questions, Please! It got to the point that I was ready to rent a different truck from another UHaul Franchise (or another company) and unload my things into the new truck and return her truck to her. I wasn't as upset about killing myself to meet her deadline or staying up until 2am unloading then cleaning her truck as I was about her not listening to me and helping me to solve my problem ...my problem was that I could not unload my things when I thought I could and needed to extend the truck a few more days ...she wasn't worried about my situation. She wanted her truck back!!! Next time I'll rent the truck for a week and return it early. I thought a 'bird-in-the-hand' was worth something. Do UHaul customers never cancel ...is it so uncommon for a person to extend their rental? Perhaps, UHaul's business model should include working with nearby franchises as swap vehicles when needed?! Turn In: I turned in the truck at 2am and dropped off the key. I called the next day and was able to have an invoice sent to my email! She even waited to verified if I received the email ... great service and simple procedures. LOVE IT! It would be nice if I could pull my own invoice off the internet and not have to call and bother anyone.

I was charged for a 2 day rental even though I had the vehicle back within the allotted timeframe for the 1 day rental. I called to complain and have called 3 times and I still don't have the matter resolved. My credit card has bee charged for the additional amounts that I am entitled to a refund. I was told some one would call me back today to resolve the issue and no one has called despite the fact that I called first thing this morning. This is a result of either pure laziness on behalf of the employees or dishonest practices. Regardless I'm still unsatisfied and overcharged.

I had made the reservation online and there was confusion when I tried to pick up the equipment. Not sure why but the attendant could not find my reservation. Also, the attendant working with me spent an unusual amount of time talking to another U-Haul employee about an unrelated issue which slowed my pick up process. Employees should focus more on the customer in front of them and not be holding an involved conversation about an unrelated issue.

They were nice and after waiting for a bit then I finally was taken care of, but there was a lot of waiting and then the manager (who was working with my order) kept walking away to give his workers information and jobs to do while I was left standing there instead of finishing my stuff.

There were only 2 people there on a Saturday morning when I went to pick up my trailer and both were unbelievably slow movers. The line was incredibly long. I was at the front of the line but it still took over a half hour to get service. This then cut into my time from for moving. There needs to be better and more adequate service in general but ESPECIALLY on such a busy moving day/time.

The clerk who checked me was very rude and condescending. While she was "helping" me she kept talking to the other employees there about what they were going to do later and other nonsense things. When I would ask a question she would answer in a annoyed tone and talk down to me like I was dumb for asking.
