I would like to highly recommend your employee Sashana Steele. Take good care of her or I will hire her away from you and she'll work for my company. She's a gem. Thanks, Peter Judge

I picked up a truck and a tow dolly to pull my car. All was attached, so I expected it to work. At 2:30 a.m. the next morning when we were to leave, and as I was loading the car onto the dolly, I noticed the lights didn't work. I checked and found the wires had been severed. As it was the middle of the night and we had to leave, we couldn't get it fixed and had to drive 700 miles with it broken. We drove through a snowstorm, a rainstorm and other things that made our safety questionable. I turned on the emergency flashers on the car to try and help. That also made my battery die which caused us issues getting the car off the dolly in Phoenix. I feel U-Haul should have known the lights did not work and put our safety at risk. Therefore, I feel we are owed a discount on the price.

I drove off the lot and discovered I had a been given a vehicle with a leaking tire. I filled the tire and hoped it would hold for the rest of the day. I had arranged a half dozen volunteers to help me collect and move more than 150 bicycles for a local non-profit. Unfortunately the tire continued to leak and our collection had to be postponed. I told volunteers we would try to reconvene Monday to finish our collection. Upon returning to Uhaul they informed me I should call roadside service to fix the tire. I told them I had sent volunteers home and wouldn't be able to move bikes again until Monday. In the end I had to get volunteers to help move half of the bikes Monday and the other half on Tuesday. Even though all of this work could have been accomplished on Saturday, I was charged for three full days. I offered to pay for two, but the manager was not willing to work with me. It's very disappointing that Uhaul would charge a non-profit for three rental days, when they gave me a poorly maintained vehicle that was intended to be used only one day.

The rental technician was extremely kind and friendly. I cannot remember her name but hopefully you have that data in your system. She went above and beyond to take care of our needs. Great attitude and a good representative of UHAUL. The truck was in good shape other than the passenger side mirror drifted and would not hold the adjustment. Just a minor maintenance issue.

The people were great! The truck door was very very hard to shut due to the ramp not going in all the way.

The trailer had not been swept of rocks and dirt from the previous renter. Make sure the trailer is clean and ask the customer to check it before leaving.

Returned the truck a day early. Was met by a young man that looked at the truck. He asked if we planned to put gas in it. I told him that the gas was up to the level when we picked it up in Richfield. We provided receipts of putting gas in Scipio Utah and then in Murray, Utah just before we returned the truck. He talked to his manager and she was very abrasive and said that they would charge us $68.00 to put in the gas needed to bring it up to the level they felt it should be. I took my son to a gas station and put in the 9 gallons that we were told it would take to comply. When we put in the nine gallons, it brought the level well over what the truck was at when we pick it up in Richfield. The trip from Richfield was 166 miles and we were given a 156 mile allowance making us 10 miles over the amount. Meaning that at $.40 a mile over we should have had to pay $4.00 dollars. The manager said that they would graciously waive that fee... We paid $22.00 additional dollars to put in more that we should have gas and they felt that that was fair on their part to waive the $4.00. Not impressed with the manager. As we left the store, she bellowed out saying that all was good... I mentioned back, that sure it is because we over compensated U-Haul in gas and you benefited from the transaction.

Much cleaner, friendlier, and more efficient location than the one off 21st south and 500 w in SLC, ut. Highly recommend.

I rented a full size truck. I'm sure your rentals are non smoking but the truck I rented smelled bad of smoke. Mileage was 2 miles over and my full gauge was less than what my paperwork said but not enough to go back in to change over less than $10.00. Not sure if this is common practice just to get a bit more profit?

The tires on the vehicle carrier were terrible. The carrier should not have been given out in this condition.

They shouldn't send customers out without fuel and lie to them about getting a gas credit if it's filled before return. The location itself was large, light & clean but the personnel gave service that (unfortunately) has become expected. Bad.

Amy and Jason where great, I made reservation for a truck it wasn't there they informed me that another customer was late returning it. Left to grab some lunch got back truck was there and Amy apologized and gave me the reservation guarantee that covered 50$ of the total. At first I was extremely disappointed as I was on a tight schedule, but I also understand that life has wrinkles good employees and people like Jason and Amy are the reason things get smoothed out and keep people coming back.

Even though I showed up with just a few minutes before they were going to close they treated me with respect and took care of everything quickly. Two employees came out when I pulled up, one started washing the windshield the other checked my mileage against my contract and told me we were good to go. I had to wait for a ride and nobody was impatient with me at all. I highly recommend this location of U-Haul!

Just hope that the "old business model" that focuses on customer service, remains. Too many companies in America have lost sight of that.

The person I talked to on the phone before I went to pick up my Rental reservation, introduced himself as John, was very vague, rude and unresponsive. I was first talking to a Representative at the number 1-800-789-3638, which was the number on my email confirmation for the reservation. The first lady I talked to was not very nice either. I didn't get her name but before anyone answered it said that the call was being recorded so I am sure y'all could find it if you want to hear how your associates represent your company. I told her that I wanted to ask a few questions about the rental. She was very short with me and after I gave her my reservation number, she told me she would transfer me over to the location I had reserved the rental truck at (Which was supposed to be 3900 s. 55 w.). She did not say why she was transferring me or really anything and before I could respond I was put on hold. That was when the guy that introduced himself as John answered. I told him that I had a reservation and that I was transferred over to him and that I had a few questions. He asked for the confirmation number, I provided it. I then asked him if the mileage charge was in addition to the rental, insurance, and tax total of about $33 I had been informed about through the reservation confirmation email. His direct reply was that he does not see $33 anywhere and then told me that the rental was $19.99, the insurance was $11. I told him that I understand and was just wondering if the mileage charges were going to be in addition to those charges that happen to total about $33 after taxes, as listed in the confirmation email. He was very rude and would not just answer my question. His tone was very condescending and he would leave the line silent after I asked him anything. I finally told him that I am sorry that I was not able to get the simple info on the rental from him and that I will just be there soon to pick up the rental. I called the corporate number again and told them my complaint and that I wanted to go to a different location so that I did not have to deal with the type of service I was getting on the phone. I also got that locations (55 w 3900 s) phone number directly and called them back and apparently no one knew of a "John" that worked there. I should have just cancelled it and gone elsewhere. Not pleased with most of the service I received anywhere with Uhaul.
