I go out of my way to come to this location at 9 mile and Telegraph. They do a very good job of customer service. The location closer to my house, on Maple Road in Troy, has the worst management. I will never go there again.

I picked up the van on a snowy morning and the floor in the cargo area was a little bit wet. Wasn't a huge problem and I can appreciate the circumstances but it would have been better if the floor was dry.

Better maintenance of equipment. First truck had cooling system issues (and other warning lights/alarms) in the first mile. Felt like the dash was going to vibrate off mounts, too. Second truck, (the replacement) had no heat in single digit temperatures, and the gage never rose beyond C.

there were a few minor things wrong w/ the truck. the padlock on the back and the driver's door lock were frozen and the driver's door gasket kept falling off, but overall, I was impressed with the truck and how it was outfitted and maintained.

The equipment I rented broke down a few hours after I picked it up. Despite calling your roadside assistance number, the initial customer service rep, Desiare, refused to dispatch roadside assistance despite the 26' truck blocking my drive, my neighbor's drive, the street being blocked and sending a GPS locator and knowing where the truck was. I finally got a truck dispatched nearly12 hours later after I called the next morning. I asked the representative, David to have the truck towed, but he told me I would have to pay for it. I explained I hired a team from your movers resource to drive the truck for the move because I couldn't drive it. Your team told me it was my problem and I needed to return it. The truck was in such bad condition that when roadside assistance arrived, which was shortly after Uhaul finally decided to dispatch help, it took over an hour and for the mechanic to call for additional assistance. As I was returning the smaller truck, I noticed the service engine light was on in it. I rented from you many times in the past and trusted your brand. This experience betrayed my trust that you would provide safe vehicles and great service. To say I am disappointed, is an understatement. I don't understand why the vehicles you rent are unsafe and how poorly the Customer service I received from your team at the roadside assistance. While Desarie was sitting in an office in Phoenix waiting to get off and celebrate the New Year, I was in near zero temperature in Detroit unable to get your team to fix or tow your faulty equipment being asked to stay out there and trouble shoot your truck which wasn't given the proper preventative maintenance. Needless to say due to the apathy of your roadside assistance team, my New Years Eve was so memorable. As a result, while most people were sharing their joyous NYE experience on social media; I was sharing the nightmare your company created for me on NYE and the horrible customer experience you provided me when I needed help due to your improperly maintained equipment. Please stop renting unsafe equipment and improve your customer service. I paid for the insurance so I would feel comfortable that should anything go wrong, your team would be there. I however found that is not the case. I must say the team at the store when I returned the truck was very nice, apologetic, and showed concern. Had your team at roadside assistance taken lessons from them, my social media in addition to my friends and families' would not be filled with my negative experience. Please don't let anyone else have this type of experience.

this was my third time in two years using this location for either a rental or drop-off. In my opinion, as far as rental truck experiences go, it was a very good experience. I highly recommend this location if you want a fast, uneventful, no surprises, transactional experience.

keep the maintenance up on the truck I broke down several times the truck was backfiring I tried to return the truck and the guy told me just to baby the truck you cannot baby a truck when you are having engine problems I tried to return the truck and he would not let me

This has nothing to do with the location listed above. However on the website is a site (Grandriver & Telegraph) cannot honor a one way request, that site should not show as an available location. I was glad the 2 locations were not far from each other.
