No other customers but had to wait in the store about 5 minutes for associate. The trailer was not swept out but that is OK because we found money when sweeping it out and we returned it clean.

I rent a Uhaul from this location about 8 times a year. They have a new General Manager, James P., You need to think about replacing him he is very rude to customers not just myself but others in the store while I was there. This time I was there I rented a 20', James was not there but another employee did his best to help me. I had reserved online and had to wait for 45 minutes for help because there was an upset customer (car hitch problem, I'm sure you have heard from him as well). When Patrick finally helped me he sent me to go get my Uhaul in the back lot, I checked the mileage and gas levels. My gas level was about 1/4 tank lower than noted on my contract. I immediately let Patrick know, he made a note on my contract but said only James could change it in the computer. I had to return my truck after hours so he said to leave my contract in the truck with the note and James would take car of it. He DID NOT. Chardged me the fuel charge and when I tried calling yesterday he would not take my calls and everyone that answered could not help me and then after awhile I was just transferred to the call center in AZ who could not help me with anything and tried sending me to James' district manager but I was sent back to the store.

I booked a trailer with a ramp, but was forced to spend more than my estimate on a larger trailer because, even though the trailer I booked online showed a ramp, I was told when I got to the u-haul center that the one I reserved didn't have a ramp. Shady practice at best.

Initially I had to wait a while for service. The rep walked out back as I entered the store. A "I'll be right with you" would have been helpful. There were workers behind the counter but I figured out they were construction workers. Again I felt I wasn't being helped for a few minutes. After that the rep was helpful. The truck was clean. Then the return went smoothly.

When I arrived to drop off the truck only one young man was working, I think his name was Jamie. I was nervous how long returning the truck would be as there was quite a line. The young man was quick working, meeting everyone's need and made the line move with ease. Very impressed with his devotion and care for his job!

Windshield was dirty, and at this time of year, the low sun obscures the driver's vision even through clean glass. Suggest that U-Haul insure windshields are cleaned before rental.

I reserved 1 month ahead only to get a phone call at 6:30am that I would have to travel 40 miles each way to get a trailer the morning I was supposed to pick up near my home at 7AM. - Really bad system - you dealer should have arranged to get trailer to me or their location.

Fuel was not as agreed on pickup Reservations made on phone were over 100 miles less than agreed and for 2 days. I get there , it is for 1 day , he called me 3 times and wants truck back and I paid for all miles except for 30. BAD

Advertise to the public more to schedule as soon as possible. Everyone thinks you can walk in and pick up the truck they want. It's not your employees fault that the trucks have all been taken even if they are still parked in the yard. Your employees handle mad customers well. Thanks for the help.

See comments under pick up location. The employee was not friendly and we had to go into the store to find him. He charged us unfairly for the condition of the van. It had been swept out per your rules. He claimed that it needed to be power washed. He refused to negotiate. The store had a lot of good stuff for moving, but it was cluttered. This is the first time using U-Haul that I have come across these problems. If it continues, I maybe finding another rental truck place for the next move. That is how poorly we were treated.

I originally arranged to pick up a van at 8am in Carver,MA at Major Impact. The prior customer had still not returned it when I arrived (1/2 an hour later at their request). I ended up having to drive 20 miles out of my way to pick up a van at this location... and another 20 to drop it off) and got on the road 2 hours later than I'd planned. This was a huge inconvenience since I didn't want to have to drive through Boston at night, which I ended up having to do with my young son. - Very nerve wracking. I was offered a discount/rebate of $50 by the Carver worker but didn't receive it. You should definitely take money off customer's bill when something like this happens.
