Was thrown off by a change in pick up location - had to take a $60 taxi ride to make it happen. Believe you should give more than 24 hours notice if this is likely to provide more warning. Folks at regional office were helpful through the unexpected change.

It took a great deal of time to inspect the vehicle, review and complete the paperwork. I walked in with a mind to leave within a few minutes but I had to wait 25 minutes for staff at the reception area, then the inspection, and finally the completion of the paperwork. It was a slow and lengthy process and yet it did not seem it needed to be so tasking.

Everyone was quite friendly. I was assigned a pick-up time of noon, and I was easily allowed to change it to 9 am. They accidentally charged me for a furniture dolly, and they worked with the team at the drop-off location to correct the problem.

We were extremely disappointed to have to drive over an hour to pick up truck. I reserved over a month ahead if time and was to have picked up in our area. Got email 24 hrs ahead changing to location further away. This impacted our start time. We are retired & were moving things from my 88 yr old mother's home. The change upset the apple cart with her & caused her more anxiety. Kelsey in regional office gave me additional mileage to compensate. She was helpful. Everything else went fine.

I was charged for the moving blankets that I never had, customer service needs to be more attentive and I want my money back for the blankets or I want the blankets to keep. I think the customer service needs more training.

Might help to prepare customers that when the office opens for pick-ups its going to be crowded. Everyone seemed to show up in a hurry to get started (I know I was) so when you must wait for maybe 6 people to be processed you get anxious about all the time you are wasting. I'm happy your business is good but with the online express check-in feature I was mistakenly counting on a quick in/quick out. All and all the staff was very helpful. Only improvement I can think of is to have the trucks at full tank. We had a long move and when the first thing you need to do is stop and top off the tank (our truck was only half full) that also eats into the time (and your volunteer's time) as well.

Very poor service. I reserved a Uhaul online for 6/2/14. It was impossible for me to find a 10' Uhaul, so I incurred unnecessary costs renting a 14'. The cashier was slow and unorganized. The entire process took much longer than was necessary, which was stressful since I had a lot of moving to do that day. I'm really disappointed with the whole experience, and I'm not sure that I will use Uhaul in the future. Docia Demmin 315-521-7962

There was graffiti all over the truck when I picked it up. I was told there nearest 10' truck was over 45 minutes away. I placed a complaint and when the supervisor called me, the only response he had was "does the graffiti keep you from placing your items in the truck?" Now, I understand that the truck was still useable but I paid over $900 to drive from VA to FL in a truck that looked like it came from the depths of the ghetto. I would not and will not recommend UHaul to anyone I know. I will pay more money to rent a truck before I will use UHaul again.

uhaul ripped me off. we borrowed the truck on 5/21/2014 at 9:23 am returned 4;23 pm drop box ., they charged my credit card 147.97 for a 28.8 mileage range!! ridiculous..scam, they charge oringiall 54.00 then the next day 84.00 mind you the sales and taxes arent included. they also was correct on the 50 fuling if not fules promissary which we was wrong for but at the time that wasnt disclosed. then no walk thru on the truck , i founf that out with the man outside saide if we took out insurance that i didnt need it but i didnt know or wasnt told before hand. however the charges was for an 84 mile radious...lol we went from there to newport news and back 14.4 miles both ways...the trippled the charge and the main owner Godfrey (757)218-1844 said so what thats the charges you have to pay and claimed i did do the 84 miles which where a lie.. and he said it is final, well WAVY 10 tv will here about this asap godfrey and his professionalism was way off for speaking to a woman then when my husband respond on the phone call that he was on 3way and didnt know he slowed his roll, he was not american and had a evil tone from the start of the conversation which i couldnt understand then he said "ma how do u know what the mileage was if you dont calulate it, the machine dont lie, and we dont go by gps so your wrong.. if that professionallism i dont know what is hA he was wrong from the start of convo with attitude and tone

Though I did not personally pick up the truck, my son-in-law did mention that they were very slow. As this was not the location I had recquested I expected the $50 off the price of the rental as promised on my agreement. Who can I contact regarding the refund?
