The young man that help me was kind rude/unprofessional.... Told me I had to purchase their insurance, at their location due their equipment being stolen. I advised him I can use my own Insurance like I always have; He advised that they do things different at their location and I need to show him a copy of all of my insurance documents; I advised him I didn't have it own me at the moment, but that I could contact my State Farm agent and have the information fax or I can pull it up on my phone. He No very rudely as he then step away from the desk leaving at a short distance away. I told well I need the truck for a few hours and I was very upset and I would indeed contact Corporate. He said I can only rent to you if you buy The Insurance.....So I was force to click okay on the Insurance Tab. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN. $10.00 is nothing for me to pay, IT WAS THE WAY I WAS TREATED. "Why do you all (Uhaul Company) put these type of individuals in place to run your company. He made it clear the Manager was not here to assist Me!!!

Normally when I rent something anywhere else it takes about thirty minutes to pick up the equipment but not these guys pick up was likecten minutes and drop off was even faster. Keep up the good work.

The first location assigned to us was a disaster. No equipment and person not there. This location quickly took over the reservation and fixed all the issues They were amazing and the consummate pros. Hats off to jennifer. Fire the first location seriously they were bad.

The customer service was excellent. The only and major problem I had was with the truck. It took around 5 to 10 mins for the engine to turn, it had some wrong with the shocks or something because I'm pretty sure we got whiplash when reaching speeds of 45 to 60 mph. That truck needs to be serviced asap!

Reception was cold and unwelcoming. Manager, who handled transaction, was sick; kept wiping nose and eyes with hands then touching everything. Gross. No information was forthcoming; I had to ask every step of the way.

The car dolly attached to our 20ft truck gave out in the middle of our cross-country move. Wheel was almost falling off. We were told it was the bearings, which should have been something checked at u-haul. Dangerous to us, our car, and everyone else on the road with us.

The store's manager was especially helpful. She helped me choose some optional rachet tie-downs that would be needed to secure my load, and then made sure that the trailer and its harnesses were correctly installed before I left the lot.

Be less anxious to kick me out and let your customers know that you have upgraded the ten foot truck to a 15 foot which made my move even more difficult as it was a small load that now needed to be tied down. It was not at all what I asked for and I almost asked for the $50 for not having what I had reserved online.

I arrived at the 3103 Princeton Dr NE location in Albuquerque, NM, to pick up the cargo van with a dolly I had reserved online at 4:50 p. m. for a 5:00 p. m. pick-up time on 08/06/2015. I was given the keys and everything seemed ok until the manager (I am assuming he was the store manager) pulled up next to the building and gave me the keys, engine running. There were two more customers just arriving with a trailer and a car on tow, so he ran to assist them and did not give me the dolly. He got busy quickly with those other customers and ignored the fact that I was standing there in the sun next to the van until he got away from the trailer to walk into the office and I asked him if I was getting my dolly. With no apology or explanation at all about why he had given me the van without a dolly that I had paid for, he went next to the building, grabbed a dolly and threw it my way. The following day, 08/07/2015, I realized I was not going to be able to make the 5:00 p. m. deadline, so I called the shop (not the 1-800 number) about 1 hr. before 5:00 p. m. I explained to the man I talked to that I needed the van for another 4-5 hours, and that I would have to return the van after hours, when the store was already closed. He told me that "it was up to the store" to charge me for that extra time, but that I would probably not be charged. I asked him for clarification and to explain to me whether I could be charged only for the additional 4-5 hours I would be keeping the vehicle, but he wasn't able to do so, and just told me again that it was "up to the store". I returned the van at 7:00 a. m. (the time the store opened) the following day (08/08/2015), having had the vehicle a total of 38 hours. I informed the "manager" (the same person who had given me the van and had not given me the dolly until I asked him) about the phone call the day before, and asked him if I was going to be charged an extra day. He said he didn't know, maybe, then yes, then he decided it was ok, that he was not going to charge me another day. However, later that morning (on 08/08), at 9:55, the same "manager" called me and left me a voicemail letting me know that the "system was wanting to charge me 3 rental periods" because I had gotten the van around 5:00 p. m. on the 08/06, and then if I was returning it at 7:00 a. m. on the 08/08, that it was technically 3 rental periods, but that he was just going to charge me for two rental periods, as if he were doing me a favor. On top of the terrible service I got when I rented the van (rushed, rude, on top of ignoring the fact that I had paid for a dolly and had to wait for about 20 minutes until he decided he could give me some attention as I was just standing there while he helped customers who had gotten there after me), this "manager" acted as if he was doing me a favor not charging me for 3 rental periods, while ignoring that he simply can't do that, because the pick-up and return time matter -otherwise, why does the reservation

If you're going to charge a courtesy fee for people who don't bring the trucks back with full fuel, the least you could do is fill the truck for the next person. Accepting a truck with 1/4 tank of gas is unacceptable!

1. The truck I originally wanted was not available & I wasn't informed until the day before my reservation 2. I was given the incorrect location on my confirmation & even though a second email went out to tell me the correct location, it didn't indicate that you would be switching locations so I assumed the email was a second e-mail reminding me that I had a reservation. It would have been smart to phone in a change of location 3. The truck ran poorly & the engine light came on during our move. When we called about it, they seemed unconcerned 4. Very impolite & not helpful when picking up the rental 5. The price is great but I'm not sure the hassle made it worth it.
