Very poor customer service. You can not hv a line out the door with one person working the counter. This is a multi billion dollar company, then act like it.

The overall experience was very poor. The service both inside and outside was slow, and the truck I was given was completely out of gas, requiring that I fill it with gas as soon as I left the rental pick-up location. They did, however, provide me with a $50 credit to offset this cost. Furthermore, I was quoted a final charge of approximately $30.00 when I returned the truck, but was then actually charged $80.00. Finally, shortly after I left the rental pick-up location with the truck in the morning, my credit card information was used to make several purchases, meaning my credit card information may have been compromised as a result of the transaction at this U-Haul location.

I experienced a problem with speed of service. There was only 1 cashier on probably the busiest week of the month. It was also a problem with your system to where I wasn't able to pick up my refund which doesn't make sense seeing as everything is recorded on paper. A possible solution would probably be a manager with a calculator idk. But all in all friendly service and highly satisfied but inconvenienced non the less

Get rid of that guy Ron I think his last name is white. He's an a****** I think he's been doing the job for too long and is burnt out. The sarcastic and has very little patience. I even asked him if he was burnt out. He said no he's been doing it for 18 years, personally I think it's time for him to cash in his chips.

To improve this location customer service is to get people with better customer service skills. My experience was horrible. I had the awful pleasure of being assisted by Ron Watt. His attitude was negative as well as his demeanor. If he did not want to be at work that Morning he should have called off. I will never recommend any one to this location nor will I come back to the Peter st location, especially if Ron Watt is working there. Kisha S.

I received a vehicle transporter and had to have it repaired before I was able to load my vehicle because the straps to hold down my car were damaged. It kept me off the road more several hours.

Charged me mileage for 6.2 difference. The truck sat for 24 because it wasn't used, but I was "STILL" charged for going over my mileage because the gas wasn't written on the paper correctly and wasn't changed the day before when it was mentioned. I had on the agreement 20 mile radius. Two associates saw the paperwork and still insisted on charging me because of it. NOT RIGHT! Common sense would tell you that the math doesn't make sense either. You have to have sense to make sense.

Storage Unit was on the second floor. Only one elevator was accessible and was inoperable on the day that I moved all belongings out. Heavy furniture had to be carried down several flights of stairs. I asked one of the Uhaul employees at the service desk if there was any type of compensation for the elevator not working and having to carry furniture and boxes down the stairs, I was told,"That's why we have stairs." I was not given a close out receipt. I was told that one would be emailed to me and it never was. I got a bill notice two weeks later for the unit which I closed out 2 weeks prior,and made a trip there from Lawrenceville in order to straighten out. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION,AND WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT I KNOW, OR MEET THAT THIS LOCATION SHOULD NEVER BE USED!

Make sure that if the customer smoke in the vehicle, it should be deodorized and cleaned for the next person. Whoever used the truck before me had smoked in the truck and I am allergic to the smell. I didn't have time to change the truck, but if a customer is allowed to smoke in the truck then those trucks should be utilized for smokers only.

I had returned an transporter from Memphis and one of the U-Haul workers who I followed to the rear of the building to drop off the transporter inform me that I had to pay extra to have the vehicle remove from the equipment. I wasn't told about any extra payment to be made for assistant, so! I took it among myself to remove my OWN vehicle and transporter from the rental; with 16 years of Commercial Licenses in the military... I had no problem. The worker even ask for a tip for using a fork lift to place the equipment in place. Do Customer need to beware?

Cons- I had a one-way truck, because of this, head quarters had to assigned me a location and pick up time. Head quarters didn't contact me through my preferred contact( instead of calling me they emailed me).Once I finally got my pick up time which I was unable to pick, someone in head quarters deleted my order. The location did help me to retrieve it. 2. I had to pay extra for miles, when unlimited miles should be offered when renting trucks.

My reservation was for 1 pm. I was told I could not receive my truck until 2:15 pm. The representative told me there was nothing she could do about it and no explanation as to why she could not meet my reservation. I am very unsatisfied and would like my money back.

The staff is very unprofessional and rude. They seem to not care about the customer and if I didn't really need to use that location at that time, I would have went somewhere else.I have a storage unit there, but once I move everything out, I never plain to use U haul again. When it is time for me to move my things out, I won't even be using U haul then.I was upset the whole weekend. Even the complaint department was rude and didn't seem to care.
