When I rented the van I said I would drive 50-60 miles. I only traveled 35 miles yet I was billed for 60 miles, the original mileage estimate. Can you help get this changed? Thank you

Truck exterior was filthy and they were quite busy. So. I understood, however staffing a store should be important in all of your locations. Drop off location was busy and we waited a half an hour to return and had the trailer half in the road as they were so backed up. The employee seemed overwhelmed also at this location

just had an issue with the safety chains being too tight and one of the them broke while driving.. i was able to get them fixed in Salem, OR and they were very helpful. It did however add an hour of time to the trip.

I arrived 5 mins before they opened, only 1 employee trying to do everything, only had time to point me to the blankets, furniture dolly and hand truck, which I could not lift myself and he never offered to help me lift into the truck, when I asked where to get gas and if the truck would make it into space, he sharply told me he wouldn't suggest a place it would fit, I left there thinking his lack of assistance and direction was because I was a female - not a good customer experience at all

Your online reservation system is not effective when wanting to rent extra equipment such as extra dollies. I reserved two standard dollies and expected them to be on the truck when I arrived at my location. Sadly I came to find out that only the one dolly in the back of the truck was there and that I would be charged for it. I had to return to the location, a MAJOR inconvenience, only to have to pay for another dolly. I expected this be a part of my order. The location stated that they had no more standard dollies available. If this is not an option that can be honoroed, it should be removed from your website since you as a company are not able to accurately provide this service to people. I would only use this location again because it is close my where I live.

when I picked up the truck there was a light indicating that an oil change was requirEd, but was not prrformed. we drove it from Seattle to Virginia without incident and it was a great ride. easy to drive, and overall a much better experience than I'd had previously with another company.

Our contract directed us to the Bicycle Center of Seattle for drop off. I parked in their lot went in the location Randy took the key and said ok your good to go. I must add he never checked the vehicle.30 minutes later Randy calls and demands I return and take the vehicle to the Ballard location or he'll charge me because he doesn't have room for it. I returned to the bicycle shop, showed my contract which clearly showed his location as the drop off point. Randy called central dispatch who said they tried to call me to divert me to Ballard. In checking my phone no one called or left a message. I ultimately took the truck to Ballard and dropped it off. This whole process took well over a additional hour driving in an unfamiliar city. Randy and the Bicycle Center of Seattle are a very poor representation of your company. Uhaul is obviously a sideline business for him and frankly customer service is not present at all.

In spite of checking in online, we had to wait to pick up truck over half an hour. Only 2 people were there to assist the long line of customers. Dropping off was fine.

The day before I picked-up the trailer, I stopped by the rental site to change the pick-up time ( same rental dates) from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. I was not provided a copy of the change on-site. I was told it would be e-mailed to me. I did not receive the e-mail. Way more disturbing was that I was sent off the lot with a trailer with expired license tabs - five months expired. When I discovered this, I was already into my second day of rental. I spent my remaining rental time looking-over my shoulder avoiding the police. Upon returning the trailer, I notified the lot attendant ( same attendant that originally hooked-up the trailer ) regarding the expired tabs. He began to make all kinds of excuses ( common practice, blaming the U-Haul company ) and refused to consider any of my requests for any type of customer service remedies. I have used U-Haul often in the past and usually had good experiences. Not this time. If the U-Haul company decides some type of customer service options are available to address my most recent rental, I would appreciate the offer.

I would like to have had instructions on how to open and close the loading door. We ended up getting the latch stuck and had to Google how to close door. Thanks to the multiple people who have previously posted regarding the same issue we were able to close the door.

The amount charged was more than what was advertised online. I did not receive a physical receipt and the guy at the pick up did not inform me that there was a change to the drop off location. I was informed via voice mail that the location was changed and was not given a text even though the person said they would text me the address. I received an email later on that stated "per our conversation, this will be your new drop off location." There was no conversation that was had. This was very inconvenient and felt rushed. If there is a change of location due to renovation, I should have been notified earlier this week or given more time to drop off.

The truck drove like a dream, have you ever driven a go-kart made of clouds..? Plus there was an amazing lizard, gecko, salamander kinda looking thing on the side of the truck so that was sweeeeet! A+, 10 gold stars for U-Haul of Ballard
