Whenever we call to make a reservation, the person answering the phone should let us know that he/she is not at the pick up location just to avoid confusions. Other than that U - Haul rocks.

When I arrived at the facility, the customer service technicians at the desk immediately made me feel comfortable by greeting me with a very enthusiastic "good money." That set the stage for a very professional presentation of the rental agreement. Afterwards, once I checked out the rental vehicle and approved the condition of the vehicle, I was sent away with a "Good to see you again Mr. Coates, hope to see you again soon." Now that what I call an organization's commitment to assuring customers feel like customers.

This location has consistently outstanding costumer service. The two women working Saturday morning were friendly and efficient. The woman who checked me out later that afternoon was great too. I hate that I move so much, but I love that I can rent from this uhaul location. It's fabulous.

The truck was clearly not looked at between uses. In addition to throwing a belt and the total system failure, it arrived at the garage with no oil left, which leads me to believe that no one bothered to check the dip stick before passing the equipment off to the next customer. I don't know if it is the fault of this particular location or if it is just company policy to not service the vehicles in between customers, but it severely disrupted my move and I was forced to spend hundreds more than I originally intended on moving help since I was delayed by 2 days and had to start a new job immediately. I don't understand why this truck or other U-haul vehicles do not receive routine maintenance, because it would probably cost the company a lot less in the long run in emergency repair and putting up customers in hotels.

Make sure the gas tank is exactly at the 1/2 tank line and the maintance on them trucks need to be upgraded I almost got in a accident twice because of the gas and the brake. Y'all got to do better.

Truck operated poorly. Electrical issues with lighting switch system caused a battery drain and required me to get it jump started (luckily I was successful, however it prolonged my move over an hour). Notified desk upon return but they didn't seem very concerned.

Overall, I had a pretty bad experience. I had to go to three different locations to finally get the truck. There was one location a few minutes from my house but the location they made me pick up the truck from was 25 minutes from my house. I don't think a customer should have to pay the price of the extra miles driven, when there is a closer location to my house. Or, it should have been offered for me to drop the truck off at the closer location. I received two phone calls in the morning and I was less than pleased with the attitude I received on the other end. I was late to the truck pick up, yes, but that is only because the location I was told to go to in the first place wasn't the location that had the truck. I am paying the same price for the truck whether I pick it up at 9 am or noon; why must I receive 2 phone calls giving me attitude about being late to the pick-up appointment (especially since I told the first person the reason I was late and when to expect me). The mileage I signed for said the truck was filled to 'full'. Because of all the hassle I dealt with in having to go to 3 Uhaul locations, I was running 3.5 hours behind schedule and was in a rush to get on the road. In the rush I forgot to check the gas level before driving off the lot. The tank was only filled to 3/4 of a tank, and at the point I realized it I could not afford to waste more time by turning around to head back to the Uhaul location. I trusted the facility wouldn't lie to the customer about the gas amount in the tank. I was wrong- lesson learned. I ended up spending $75 to fill the tank (most of which wasn't gas that I spent). I am NOT happy. The only saving grace of the entire experience was the interactions I had with two associates: Nathan Wheatley was the gentleman who met me outside when I pulled up the truck. He was extremely nice and professional. It was hot outside and it was the end of the day. I'm sure he was tired from a long day of work but he kept a smile on his face and was very pleasant to talk to. You need to have him train the rest of your associates- they could learn a thing or two from his performance. Inside Maurice Tyler helped me at the counter. He sympathized and understood the experience I had earlier in the day. He was also very nice and professional. I appreciated his attitude and how he carried himself as a customer service provider. I left Uhaul with a much better experience after talking with him. Both of these gentlemen should be considered for a pay raise or opportunity for advancement. Customer experiences matter, especially when word of mouth about said experiences travels like wildfire. Uhaul should do well to remember this if they want continued business. My experience was suboptimal. I will be avoiding the use of Uhaul's services in my future endeavors and will not recommend anyone to your locations. Focus on the customer and what the customer wants. If a customer calls and requests to rent at a specific location, try to make it happen. ( This pertains to the U Haul company in general, not directly regarding this particular location.)
