Seat belt alarm kept going off even though I was wearing a seat belt and there was no passenger. Average experience overall, but staff was not very friendly.

I have booked a 10' truck with pick on Highland road and the website showed me that there were available trucks there. However, on the next day I received a confirmation of my order And I had found out that the company changed address where I had to pick up the truck without consulting with me. Due to the lack of time, I had to agree on this conditions. Because of that I spent much more time for moving than I anticipated and it was more expensive than I thought. I feel my self cheated and I think that it is a sign of a low-quality service.

They screwed me with the mileage I drove no more than 75 miles from Baton Rouge where I picked up the truck to Port Allen and when brought the truck back the speedometer read I traveled 156 miles not even possible

Reserved utility cart was not available and the cashier did not appear to care. She told me it was the manager's fault for not updating the inventory. An appliance cart was substituted. The cart was not on the 'ready' truck and I had to request the cart and wait. Mileage estimate was way too low for Baton Rouge to Lafayette one way. I had to pay for 20 'extra' miles, but drove almost directly between Uhaul locations. This appears to be a scam.

The older representative had a bad attitude and issued objections instead of solutions. She was not polite when I asked to rent an appliance dolly. She barked at me and stated that there were no dollies available. She handed another representative a list of available equipment which was incorrect after it was verified. She rolled her eyes as she said that there were no "creepers" available. When I pointed out that there was one outside, she said but it's not available. The location was 18 miles away from my home. The distance from my apartment to my new home was only 5 miles. I had to pay mileage for the move even though there was a location closer to me. I have moved before and did not have to pick up and drop off "so far" away. The pick up/drop off added 36 miles to my rental.

Michael and the guys did a good job at this location. The problem I have is that this was not the location where I had reserved a 26' truck; that location was Baton Rouge Mini Storage #1. When I arrived, I was told that the site did not lease UHaul trucks anymore. So much for a guaranteed reservation, not to mention the two hours of wages lost.

The equipment I ordered was not on the truck, so I asked the woman at the front desk to cancel it. She was too busy on her phone to be bothered with my request, because I was charged for it anyway. The truck windshield was horribly cracked, and the truck was filthy. The person who got the truck drove recklessly in the parking lot. Yes, people want their rentals, but safety should always come first. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Employees could be more friendly and helpful. Did not give instructions about usage of the vehicle and trailer. Headphones and cell phones were used by some employees throughout the process of getting the vehicle.

have managers inform customer of u-haul refund policy before they leave with rental agreeement and acknowledge that there is a time frame to collect the refund if due. But everything else was very pleasent including manager n team

The clerks were very rude. They gave me a truck to go almost 900 miles. Within 2 blocks the check engine light and the oil light came on. Returned truck and was lucky enough to have one left on the lot. It took us longer to make it to our destination because of the motor. I think the over drive is going out in truck, as it was very slow and sluggish on inclines. Truck might me okay for in town only.

Truck not available when reserved. The locationhad a number of trucks but did not want to rent one to me. Said they were reserved for later customers. Claimed my truck was on its way in. They did not have a 14' truck as reserved, only 10 ' trucks, this required me to make 2 ri[ps instead of 1 trip which dobled my mileage. I would like a refund on some of the mileage charges. this wa about 1 hour after my reservation time. It took me about 20 minutes to convince them to rent me a truck now and then use the one coming in for one of the later reservations.

First...hire competent people. I reserved a trailer for Friday but the fool at the store made the reservation for Thursday...leaving me without a trailer. I searched all over town. Finally got to what I assume was a main UHaul call center...who GIARANTEED me if I reserved with my credit card there would be the trailer I wanted at the location right up the road...the very same location I was told earlier by the fool at the first place DID NOT have my trailer. I agreed to give them my info but before I could get in the store at the location specified, I get a call telling me no trailers as I want are available here. I had to take a smaller one. When I asked if they would be discounting anything for having messed up TWICE that day, I was given some excuse about month end financial BS which meant no discount. Thanks UHaul...you made moving even more of a pain in the a**!

I was on my way to drop the u-haul truck to a location 2 miles from where I moved my daughter. The u-haul location where i picked up the truck said i could bring it to the nearest u-haul location when I'm finished with it. I was called by this location to return the truck to this location which was way out of my way. I asked why i had to bring it to them considering they were out of my way. They said they had a resevation for it, and they need it. It took me 45 minutes more to bring it to them because of traffic. When I drop it off, I asked if I was going to get some kind of a discount for bring it out of my way to them. They told me if I went over my mileage they will take care of it, which i didn't go over. Plus, their system was down which I couldn't get a receipt. If I know now how the area was with traffic, I would of brought it to the first location were i was bring it before this location called me. Never again, I will waste my time bring it back to a location out of my way.
