Return check in requires more attention. I had to wait for 20 minutes and kept asking people to assist and they kept assuring me someone would. i finally had to go track someone down. Other than that, they were extremely friendly and helpful!!! Great counter service experience!

The representative that waited on me in the Mass Ave location, eventhough I called in to reserve a rental she couldn't find it. Then while she was suppose to be waitng on me she stopped to talk, laughing and had personal side conversation with another worker which had nothing to do with work. (VERY UNPROFESSIONAL). Upon returning the rental, the representative was very efficient, courteous and professional.

The gas level is very hart to see. When you are giving the level on your contruct os clear but when you look at the truck it show Empty? Half and full. I was disappointed because after using 18.4 miles and adding 3 gallons they wanted to charge me $18.00. The manager reduced 9.00 so i paid 9.00

The truck had a strong smell of gasoline inside to the point that I got a headache and nausea while using it. It was unacceptable. Someone had transported gas, spilled it and the van was not cleaned properly. I'm a loyal customer and I expect better.

It was extremely difficult to get an associate at the Mass Ave location on the telephone over my two-day rental period. All of my 9 calls, except for one, were diverted to the national customer service desk. The concern/circumstance I needed to discuss was well known by an associate located at the Mass Ave location. I absolutely resented having to repeat and re-explain my concern to an off-site customer service representative.

I was satisfied untill i noticed i was over charged and lied to by the staff that told me i had to purchase insurance, and not told about hidden fees. My daught her moved last week to mattapan my miliage was 5 miles and i paid more then she did and she used more miles then me.I only had to put 5 dollars gas in truck. explain that

Had a great experience overall except when I first went in to get the truck. There were 3 or 4 women behind the counter. I walked up to the counter and was told to wait at the red X on floor, which I did. They talked amongst themselves, ignored me. After about 8 min., the shift must have changed because a new woman walked in, asked if I was being helped, and helped me! She was awesome! But, that period before she helped me was weird. I heard one of the women say, "I just want to leave." Word: the time goes faster if you actually work!

It was a quick transaction, and the guys helped me get my boxes into my car, which was great. There was a mix-up with my online order, where one of the boxes wasn't in stock, but they helped me with exchanging for something else that did the job. A little more attention to the customers would be nice, inside and outside of the sales office. The employees working in the garage should probably stand farther inside when there is down time so that it doesn't appear like they don't have anything to do. And someone was smoking right at the entrance to the garage where we were waiting to pick up the truck. Overall, a good experience.

We had to move our son from college. Got a bigger truck because it seated three!!! Didn't realize the third seat was a half of a seat! We made home with no injuries!!! Glad we found a one-way truck. Not bad on gas!

The vehicle broke down on us around 11pm. We did not receive adequate help until 4am. The first towing company was inadequate assistance and left us. Then another towing company helped us. It was a terrible experience. And if you are aware of Boston weather in November, it was freezing. At this point, my wife and I are struggling to believe that we can work with U-Haul again, unless we speak to some from headquarters and receive adequate customer service. It took over 5 phone calls to get to decent customer service. We'll see if this review helps because we look forward to hearing from someone.
