I am extremely horrified by this entire rental experience. Everyone "working" at this location was unhelpful and clearly completely uninterested in the customers. Multiple employees were sitting in the office, doing nothing, even though there was a line. We were told when we did first talk with someone that there was not a truck for us, even though we had made a reservation and were called the evening before for UHaul to tell us the time and location (neither of our preferences) to pick up a truck and I called the morning of pick up and spoke with three different people who all told me the truck would be available at this location at noon (again, we didn't actually get the truck for over an hour). While we waited, multiple employees in the office, including the manager, were sitting around and eating, seemingly not offering any help or input on what was happening and/or if we'd be able to get a truck. I called customer service while this was all happening, talked to multiple people, all again who seemed to completely NOT CARE that we were being told there was no truck available. I was truly appalled with the lack of interest in customer service. One woman tried to just get me off the phone with a $50 credit. Fine, that's great, but I was still really upset and bothered that no one even cared that our entire moving day schedule was affected by the fact that our reservation could not be met (we didn't just lose the hour and 15 minutes waiting for the truck because this also affected the fact that we could not load the truck and get out of Boston before rush hour). The worst part was another customer service person telling me it was MY responsibility to know if there would be a truck available because I made my reservation. Yes, I did make my reservation, and the website said there was a truck available and someone called me the evening before and I worked with him to find a time and location that worked (after being asked to do roundtrip from Worcester or drive 25 miles north - completely out of the way and not doable because of work) to pick up a truck. Even though we finally found a closer location and time that we could make work, we ended up waiting for over an hour - the worst part, again, being that no one cared and had no problem telling us there's no truck available. All the people I talked to on the phone just said "it's the end of the month, we're busy." Okay, well that is not my fault as a customer and the fact that none of your customer service people care at all that your customers' reservations aren't being met is absolutely unacceptable in my opinion. I will never use U-Haul again and I will tell everyone I know to stay away as well. Definitely worth paying a competitor more money if they will at least have a truck ready per a reservation and show some interest in helping their customers.

Very rude. We had reserved a truck. But there was no truck there for us. We had to wait 45 min. for a truck to be returned and checked out. When I returned it. The staff on the return was very nice.

Everyone working inside was incredible miserable and unhelpful. N'keisha was rude and shook her head and rolled her eyes whenever I asked any question. She never told me where to go in the end or said that the transaction had completed. She just looked at me, shook her head irritated, and said "you all done to go!" Also, as a general statement, I don't know how you can advertise for 30 dollars for an in-town rental. All the fees and whatnot brought my rental costs to 105 dollars for the 4 hours.

There was a bit of a line when I picked up the truck, but that was to be expected on a Saturday morning. The man in line before me didn't have a reservation and one of the staff rudely told him he would not get a truck. The woman who completed my reservation was friendly and did her job well. When I returned the truck later that afternoon, I had to sit in the truck waiting to check-out while several staff members walked about. The young man that assisted me with checkout was friendly and tried to check me out as quickly as possible despite the technological issues.

Clean up the stank inside of the car and not give us a truck that was having mileage problems even before we stepped into it. Attempted to overcharge as well.

We had a reservation for eight. We showed up by nine. They told us that the van was not there and to wait for noon. The woman behind the counter did not seem to understand why this was a big deal or how it might upset us. We came back at about 11:30 to check on the truck. Another woman was behind the counter, and this one asked us why we were so late. Eventually we got her to understand that we had been on time and were told to wait longer. Then she told us our truck would be here in 15 minutes. She said something about how this happens a lot at the end of the month...but then if they knew this might happen, why did they tell us to come in at 8am? Why not be honest about what was happening, call us to tell us what was going on before we drove in there, or better yet, schedule the trucks so that there's adequate time to get ours to us in case something goes wrong? Anyway, when we finally got our truck, the dolly and furniture pads we asked for were nowhere to be found. We are so so so disappointed and plan to dispute the charges when we return the vehicle. What a disaster! If someone does not make this right I will spend the rest of my life doing whatever it takes to never use UHaul again. I do not care about the price or inconvenience; never patronizing this company would be enough.

There was NO parking for cars so I parked in back where returned vehicles are stored......I was there all of 15 minutes and as I was getting in this car to drive home , this associate came to the back YELLING at me that I was NOT to park there. "Oh well, I was leaving!!!!!"

There were no signs directing where to park, where to go, how to check the truck back in. I was yelled at by an employee (I think) to stay with the truck, instead of going inside the building. Again, no signs indicating what to do, where to go, most especially signs to stay with your truck.

Despite making a reservation days before, an hour before my scheduled pick up time I got a call that all trucks had been overbooked and I had to get a cargo van. They said there was nothing they could do and would see what happened when I arrived. I arrived at my scheduled pick up time and no one referenced the fact that there were no trucks available. We waited over 30 minutes to get our vehicle since the computers were down. We still only had the vehicle until 8:15, so we lost half an hour due to computer issues. It was not a good experience at all. Very stressful to an already stressful day of moving out.

The service was subpar. I received a rental, drove 40 minutes to my apartment to find out that there was a padlock on the back of the truck with no key. I called this location and they didn't take action to help the situation. I was transferred multiple times and ended having to drive to a different location to unlock the padlock.

I went online and submitted all information for a 10:00 a.m. reservation then had to wait more than half an our to get checked in. The truck I had had a broken visor over the drivers side. I had to keep it turned to the side window because it kept falling down. The right side hinge was broken off. On top of that the "tighten gas cap" warning kept coming on even after I tightened it so you weren't able to view the trip odometer?
