They seem to always have what I need in stock and the staff are very helpful and work hard. If I had any complaint is that the time it takes to process a transaction is mind-numbingly long - upwards of 10 minutes. If other customers are waiting and there's only one person working the counter, it can be 30 minutes before you get your equipment.
If there's any way to streamline this process it would be of huge benefit to your customers.

I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone after this experience. When I call a local number I get a call center - there is no way to talk to the local branch. The quote I got was different than what I was charged - they didn't even have the same truck that the call center said was available. I told the branch that my quote was different and they said they would correct it - they didn't - probably because they knew I had no way to get ahold of them.

The employee that was there was overwhelmed by all the customers and looked really frazzled. He wasn't able to answer my questions and was trying to boot people out the door as quickly as possible. The solution, it appears, is to have more employees on hand.

There was a mixup on the mileage on the truck that I rented. It was a brand-new truck and they had miss calculated the mileage. When the manager got outside and set the truck up for me he noticed it and said not to worry that he would change it in the computer. Well, I use the truck for 12 miles and got billed for 188. When I return the truck I asked the manager if he had indeed corrected it in the computer and he said he had. I did call customer service and they're working on it, but overall it was quite disappointing to see that on my credit card

The truck was very, very dirty. Dusty dash, sticky wheel, pet hair everywhere which was a problem since I have bad pet allergies. If I was in the truck any longer than the 2 mile trip it would have been impossible. The alignment was also pretty terrible which made driving a heavy load harder.

I did refuel my truck but noticed an extra charge for fuel on my bill, so I called and they removed the charge with no hassles. I really appreciated that as I did pay close attention to the fuel gauge as I refueled and I'm confident that I replaced all the fuel that I used.

The customer service was great! I stopped in twice. Both times employees were very busy, but kept cool and did their jobs well. Got what I needed, my rented trailer worked great, and the individual who helped me hook it up knew what he was doing and was a great help! Will for sure recommend!!

Seemed like a bit of a bother to the team at times, other times they were friendly. Just a mixed experience. Did not fully resolve issues with lighting wires to my trailer, ended up driving without running lights for two nights

Several miss communications happened during our experince. The best service we had was not with the location, but with the customer service people who had to deal with out compliants about this location. I can't even keep track of how many times I had to call regarding a mix up with the money my husband and I were charged... not something you need to deal with on top of moving. I will never use Uhal again.

Make it easier to call in ahead of time to confirm store hours and hours that the truck is available. When I called into the main national number, I was put on hold for over ten minutes and then I hung up, which was frustrating.

I needed a packing box the size which was out of stock. Recommend keeping stock better supplied.
I would prefer a document confirming equipment return, now if there is question I have no proof of return.

Promised van not there as reserved.
Promised price for vehicle substituted was not honored. Fuel level was lower in fact than on contract.
Received invoice by email rather than in person, as requested.
Received bill for boxes. Never ordered/used boxes.
On hold 30 minutes to resolve billing.
Finally hung up in despair. Will take pains to avoid UHaul in the future.

Very quick and easy drop off, the woman working was very polite and quickly unhitched the trailer(even though it wasn't necessary). We didn't even have to back the trailer into a designated spot. Just drop it off right where we were. Was in and out of there in no time.
