worst service I waited for over an hour for a truck that was there the clerk that took care of me after an hour told me to hold on to see if he can find a truck he stepped outside with another worker and was smoking some marijuana I can't believe during work hours company time and in front of customers it is embarrassing and unacceptable

Girl at front desk had two ear pieces in and was on personal calls while trying to deal with customers. I had to ask twice if she was speaking with me. The truck had only a 1/4 tank of fuel upon pick up. The only redeeming factory was the very professional gentleman who was operating the lot. He answered and assisted me with all my questions concerning the use on the truck and locations of safety equipment.

You'll need to train the guys over in Coram,(L.I.) NY Location because they don't know how to effectively put on a hitch and without breaking bolts n screws in ones vehicle . I' was very displeased /very upset(disappointed ) when the guy Mike there in Coram that was suppose to put on my hitch for (trailer in Bridgeport) messed up n wrecked the screws n got them broken off with end result of me NOT getting my hitch n trailer put on the day expected (when reserved for/Sat. 8/ 22), not UNTIL 3 days later when I had professionals(hitch Masters)put/ complete hitch installation ,rather UHAUL due to Mike Rizzo destroying my bolt area where hitch was to be put in !! I was shocked & appalled by the lack of care and customer service by them in Coram(L.I.) location, having little to no concern of what has happened n didn't make any resolution of help of fixing what their guy did to my car and made me have my move out date 3 days passed the time I was suppose to, with causing me much more expense(s) and that their manager (Lauren) said (leaving of voice mail only) by there was nothing they would do to reimburse for anything ! Because it "Wasn't their fault", ...that they broke the screws in there n couldn't get them out in order to put the hitch that "I bought from you" on my vehicle ., I could NOT believe how this was handled.,with such total n complete lack of care to your customer ! Id really like corporate to know about what I went thru and someone should really taken a listen to the voice mail that was left by a customer rep /or maybe it was the Coram manager (Lauren) and maybe you'lll be able to use it in a training class of (what)/"How not to treat your customers ". Because she was so wrong not helping me or help with fixing somehow or couldn't fix,.then offer to reimbursement for all added expense It entailed because one of your guys & messed up destroyed the bolts so I wasn't able get have hitch n trailer put on, on date I was suppose to...Rather blaming ME or my car for this incident! Think That was the most disturbing part that this girl ACTUALLY "blamed" my car or me!..And in the end I was never said I'd be compensated for all the trouble n my added expenses . Not even as much as "I'm (we're) Sorry !! I definitely can tell you I will be telling people of my experience n I'm sure it will make them think twice about using UHaul : (

When we reserve a truck we expect it to be available. We reserved it, went all the way to UHaul to be informed that the truck we "reserved" was not available. They could have called us to tell us, but they wasted our time and their own. You seem to know how to take the reservation but not how to HOLD the reservation. Also, your location on Fairfield Ave sent me a confirmation for a "reservation" with the wrong time. I tried to call them at the number provided in the email several times, each time someone answers "UHaul, please hold" and then they never come back to the phone.

The entrance and exit is very narrow, need a better system in and out. Maybe it's just lack of space. The drop off process was very good, I just pulled in and they unhitched the trailer and I left, was told I would get an email acknowledgement which I did. Of course there was no line there at the time.

I will never use uhaul again. They are a train wreck from start to finish. I reserved 20ft truck in town. They gave me a 20ft truck that I had to travel 50 miles to get. I reserved and paid for an auto transport and tried to give me a dolly. Did not make my move an easy move. People at bridgeport facility were good but it was people at regional or dispatch that caused the problems.

Everything went better than expected! The employees had my rental ready to go. I didn't have to wait and they made it very easy. The lady I reserved over the phone with was very helpful and pleasant! I was very pleased with my experience.

Unfortunately, I almost had a very traumatic event happen with the cargo trailer almost separating from my vehicle due to the U-Haul employee not properly installing it. Also, I reserved a 5'x 8' weeks prior and was told that day that I had to have a 5'x 10' which was too big and cost me an extra $70 + due to class 4 instead of class 3. They did reimburse $35 but they should have taken the whole $70 off.

The entire experience was a disaster. I needed the truck in the morning and the day before they informed me it would not be ready until 1 pm. I called but they offered no solutions. I got there at 1 pm and after an hour of waiting they had no truck. Finally after promising a bigger truck they decided instead to give us a high mileage, old truck that was for sale, not up to Uhaul standards. No discount was given. The gas mileage was so terrible that my gas bill was over $200 to go from Bridgeport to Cleveland. The truck shook over 60 mph. The locks did not work so we could not leave the truck unattended. They knew we had no choice. The movers who we had hired by the hour were very nice and accommodating not charging us for their waiting time nor changing from 8 am to 3 pm. We lost the day. I would never go back to this location.

I was a little upset with the final bill. I was charged $3.95 extra for mileage, yet I left about $17 extra of gas in the van. Doesn't seem fair.

Service was atrocious. I had to wait at the counter for ten minutes because there were no employees inside during my pickup. On my dropoff, I once again waited at the counter for a prolonged period of time, grew impatient and placed my keys in the lockbox outside the doors. An employee walked around the corner as I was doing so, and proceeded to give me attitude because now she had to unlock the box in order to retrieve the keys. Would not recommend this branch for future needs. Employees are disrespectful and unprofessional.
