uhaul screwed me over. not bridgeport. I reserved a truck and trailer for stamford ct. I wound up having to go to fishkill ny for picking up the truck then back down to bridgeport ct to pick up the trailer which was also supposed to be in stamford ct. I was a day late packing the truck. everything was rushed, things werent packed correctly some got broken, I had to mentally push my 80 year old parents to move quicker, the confusion that happened could have been avoided if you, uhaul, had done your job by having the truck and trailer 3 miles from the house instead of 175 miles out of my way. if I make a reservation for a certain place I expect it to be there. After all the packing got done I was then a day late for driving the estimated 1200 miles to tennessee. when I turned the truck in I was surprised with another bill for 25.59 for going over the estimated mileage. If you, uhaul, had the truck in the right place to begin with I wouldn't have gone over the allotted mileage and had to pay more. I talked with several people about the bad situation and nobody said they would fix it. no one helped me. I had to ask where the next nearest place was for a 26 foot truck. no service. no compensation for being put out like the people said they were going to do.

I was very dissatisfied with your service. We were a few minutes late returning the truck and was told After we returned it that we will be charged double which I don't agree was fair or legal. I was not notified of being charged double if I was a litttle late. and hope you didnt charge me double because I will seek a lawyer.

Male sure Trucks Air conditioning is working, mine was not and It was very Humid and when I returned the Truck I asked for some kind of credit off my bill and the said just " sorry". Also when I checked the vehical out the signature pad said if I wanted Insurance( which I already have with my car insurance) I said No and asked the associate why it said $ 14.00 and she did not respond. When I returned the vehical back 2 -3 hrs later I asked to be credited back the $ 14.00 and the Manager said that even if I submitted a Objection to customer service that they will forward to him and that he will say no anyway. This is not exceptional customer service at all I think this is extremely Poor. I received today a phone call from the Manager named Dane and he said that they cannot refund my $ 14.00 from the insurance and that he will give me a $ 14.00 voucher for the next time I use U- haul. I am extremely upset about this because there is no such thing that nothing can be done to credit my charge card.( They can take the $ 14.00 off my total bill if they wanted to). I hope that someone actuallly reads this and does something positive about this for me. At this point I will never use U-HAUL again and it is more important to U-HAUL to keep the $14.00.

I was asked if I wanted the insurance. I said "No", but later I found out they put the insurance on the bill. They said I said 'Yes'. That was not right. I'm going else were next time, or just have my friends with trucks move my friends.

I never said I would drop the Uhaul back off at this location as I was moving to a location where there is a Uhaul right around the corner. I got a call the day of my move from a very rude, short and aggressive "manager" who said if I didn't return the Uhaul back to this location I would be tacked on an additional $300. This is after I was never told this was a local truck that needed to be brought back to its original location. Will not go back here and will certainly not refer this location to a friend.

I have rented many, many trucks and vans in my life. I have never had such a positive experience as I've had at this particular facility from which I've rent twice in the last 3 weeks. It is clear that the management has set a high expectation re customer service and has worked hard to make sure he hires well. I would highly recommend this business to anyone. I only wish they were closer to my hometown in MA. I can only encourage you to keep up the good work.

For the second time, the truck that I reserved from UHaul was not available even though I had an advance reservation and checked in online the day prior to pickup. I also called the Boston Ave location the day prior and they told me that the truck was in the lot so there would be no problem the following day. I showed up at 7am for pickup and after waiting for 40mins, I was told that my only option was a truck that was four feet shorter than my reserved vehicle, yet I had to pay the same price for it. There was a larger truck on the lot but UHaul would not make that available to us. I had no choice but to take the smaller truck because I had already paid hundreds of dollars to movers through the UHaul website and they were waiting at my house because the UHaul transaction took so long. Because the truck was too small, we had to make two trips which meant we were charged for double the mileage that we had expected and we had to pay the movers for two extra hours. I will never use UHaul again.

The same deal here. My requested location was not honored, even thou U Haul scheduled it (Trumbull, Ct) until a couple of days before drop-off. I waited in line for 25 min before someone announced "anybody dropping off"
