I phoned the office a few times during my rental, but the store didn't answer. I got rerouted to the call center, but they were not equipped to answer the question as it was very specific to the roads I was traveling on.

I was charged for returning the van with too little gas, however I had overfilled the gas. Rented the van with 5/8 full, returned it over 5/8 full.

Young employees very polite and helpful! Will definitely use this location again. Question: Why is there a contract dropoff slot in the return box? I was only told I had to drop off the key, and I deposited my invoice.

We were told by the central number that we could not drop off the truck at this location because they were already full. They sent us to a location in Waltham that was not open. When I called back, a manager told me that we could bring it to Brighton. They were very helpful in Brighton. I spent way too much time on the phone trying to get the desired pickup and dropoff location. It shouldn't be that hard.

truck was not clean, someone smoked inside. It had a really bad smell. Trank was wet for some reason. Store manager Jim was not friendly and not helpful at all.

Insurance was included without my permission. When I asked to remove it I was told it could not be. Contract was rewritten without insurance, but only after I strongly complained that the first contract was not correct. Truck I was initially given had an almost flat tire (idiot light was on), so I was given a second truck with good tires. Contract for second truck rewritten showing my rental was for two days with corresponding estimated charges. I only rented the van for 24 hour period. I was specifically told when I rented the van that I would be charged $5.00/gallon for returning truck with less gas than when I rented it. However, I was also specifically told that if I returned the truck with more gas than I started with, I would be reimbursed for the excess gas. When I returned the truck with excess gas I was told that reimbursement was not company policy. Why tell someone something when it is not true? I would have been more careful about how much gas I put in. Not a great experience. My last rental was also not so great - it took about three weeks to get a simple insurance problem straightened out.

I thought I had booked a truck at the Waltham location but I was notified the day before that I would be in Brighton the day before. It would have been courteous to inform me of the change sooner than the day before or just keep my order where I originally wanted it.

Great locaion, very helpful staff on hand and on the the phone. I left something in the truck by mistake and they were very responsive and helped me to retrieve it. Well lit, clean easy to access location in a city with tight streets

Fuel gauge on truck was broken so i have no way to put in the right amount of fuel before return. It would have been better if truck were given to me with full tank and I could return with full tank. Instrument console back light was broken, so I can not see the gauges at night.

I've had bad experiences here in the past but this time everything worked out fine and the people that work at this location were wicked nice. The appliance dolly that I rented was waaay too old and didn't work very well, though.

Uhaul store manager said that it was fine to drop off the truck after closing hours, as long as the truck was parked in the back and the keys were dropped in the drop off box. We did that, and the next morning, I receive a text saying that my uhaul is overdue. I call the number, and the person tried to contact the store and there was no response. She said someone was supposed to get back to me. Hours later, I call again because no one reached out to me, same issue. Finally, I made my husband GO BACK TO THE STORE and the store clerk said that the person in the morning misplaced the key, not to worry. That same night, I get a call from the uhaul store saying that we needed to return the key because the drop off is overdue. This was a nightmare, it shouldn't be a difficult process to return the truck/keys, we did exactly what we were supposed to do. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

There was no mention of a Boston CCF surcharge prior to the rental. The charges and fee's add up quickly and become annoying. However, I did appreciate how new and well kept the van was.

The crew was clearly ready to handle lots of business. They had the keys lined up in the same order as vans and everything was ready to go. I only needed it for a few hours and it worked out just right. Very good value. The van was nearly brand new, only 2000 miles. Easy to drive and park. The electric mirrors are appreciated.
