I was guaranteed a 17' truck, but when I arrived to pick it up they did not have any left. I made my reservation well in advance, so this should not have been an issue.

Staff more front desk workers for the last weekend of the month. The line went to the door, and the call center sent people from 20 miles away to that location claiming there would be enough trucks and there weren't. Inventory from branches that are closed on Sunday should be re-allocated to open branches

Amend policy regarding overnight drop offs, with the customer responsible until the vehicle is checked in the next morning. Staff was unhelpful, did not do a thorough job, and lacked customer service skills and motivation.

I had a reservation for 9 am and arrived at 9am with only 4 people ahead of me, but it took an HOUR for them to process my reservation and finally get me the rental van. I won't go to this location again bc of the such slow service.

The entrance is pretty well hidden. They have a ton of trucks but not enough people to make picking up or returning a vehicle happen in a timely fashion, though the online pre-check definitely helped with the former.

The $10 Boston convention center tax was not mentioned on the website. It was unknown until I showed up. Going forward I will rent from Somerville where this tax does not exist.

The passenger side mirrors were loose,and they kept moving around while i drove. I tightened a set screw when i got to my apartment, but this was extremely nerve racking for me. Please check the tightness of the side mirror set screws before renting out trucks. Besides that, good experience

Equipment that was supposed to be there wasn't. We were there for well over an hour and a half which put us way behind on a trip that we were leaving for. Last year when we were there everyone was very rude & one guy was starting to get very nasty. Bottom line is I will never go to this location again even though it's within walking distance of my house nor will I recommend anyone to go there. They need to get their act together.

I am a regular customer and during the day of my rental, my business CC wasn't working for some reason so I end up charging the rental on my personal CC. I was due to return it after hours so i wasn't able to have Uhaul switch cards to charge. I called in before they close to tell them to hold off on charging my personal card because my business card works now and that I will come in first thing in the morning to use my business card. Of, course first thing in the morning Uhaul charged my personal card. I came in panicked and Uhaul rep Taylor-Marie Carr came to the rescue with her kindness, patience and great customer service. She explain to me what she can do and reassure me everything will be worked out. Good genuine customer service is rare nowadays but Taylor-Marie showed she cared about the customer and the reputation of Uhaul. She is someone that will make a great positive impact for UHaul if given the opportunity to lead. I had to come back to get her full name, just so I can write this review. Because of her, I will be going back to Uhaul for my rental needs for a long long time.

The computers were having a glitch and it took 1.5 hours to get a truck that I had reserved 2 weeks ahead of time. No one seemed to concerned about how long this was taking and associates didn't seem to want to step in to help speed up the process. In the time I was helped, about 7 other customers came and went with their trucks. I was aggravated and frustrated that there was not more team work and urgency to help my rental pick up.

The representative behind the desk, Vilarde Gomes, was very rude and personally refused to give me service after I told him I did not have a second phone number. He told me "you are not alone in this world", and then refused to complete the transaction. I was forced to wait 20 minutes for another employee to complete the transaction. In the end I was able to complete my reservation, but I will not be going back based on the attitude of the employees at Uhaul.

First time I came in to buy boxes the retail store was completely empty, after waiting for 5 minutes in the empty store I walked outside to find what seemed to be the only employee working to help me pay for the boxes. When I came in to pick up my truck, there were 2 employees assisting two customers, had to wait 15-20 minutes to pick up my truck I had reserved. Would have appreciated less wait time being that there were only 3 customers in the store.

Overall, I didn't like that I couldn't choose my location even though I reserved this equipment a month ahead of time. This location wasn't at all near where I wanted it to be and the time I was assigned wasn't good either. In general I felt like I was assigned a time and location at random without any consideration to what was best for me.
