Milton was super great and I was very satisfied with the experience overall. It was great to get an estimate beforehand so I knew what to expect cost-wise. Everything was taken care of efficiently and my expectations were met.

While the service was fine, I am extremely upset by what I experienced as a bait and switch policy from your online service in terms of what I expected to get charged and the greater than double the charges the actual price was. I will not use UHaul again. The ten dollar CCF charge, an environmental fee charge, the lack of transparency of the website never indicating that there would be additional charges such as rental taxes. You have to tell customers what they are getting into to develop trust. I have lost that with your company. Change the online service to be accurate and I will reconsider.

The $100 deposit on the rental screens during checkout was confusing. Since I was using a debit card it didn't apply to me, and the woman processing the checkout couldn't quite explain it to me - but her coworker did, good enough to get to the next transaction screen. That was only a slight bump.

I know it is the busiest time of the year ever for you there, but the furniture blankets I had ordered on line were not there, and we could have used them. At least you took the charge off the bill w/o any issues.

The customer service member at the location and the regional phone line were not helpful in answering my questions. I have moved in Boston many times and understand that the capacity for renting a van for an extended period of time isn't possible during the Aug 31/Sept 1 weekend, however, being told "No - no availability" in response to future bookings (without asking dates) from the Brighton location is unreasonable and I was given the same answer by the regional phone number when I asked about storage options. When I called a specific location in Somerville, the team was incredibly helpful and storage units were available. I'd like to know why the regional phone number customer service told me multiple times no storage units were available in the greater boston area, but when I called the Central and Somerville locations - units were available that day. I'm very displeased with the lack of help.

I was very impressed by how organized and efficient your location was, particularly on such a busy day. Bryan was especially helpful - he helped get me a slightly larger truck that was already available on the lot a little earlier than scheduled so I could beat rush hour traffic. I was really impressed with the level of service, and the friendliness of all the staff on a hectic day.

While I requested a cargo van, I received a truck, which I was not even given an explanation as to why. Also, the customer service reps spoke very softly and quickly. I'm a novice so could have appreciated clearer communication.

Mark in customer Service was rude & not helpful. First of all, I called a week prior to my scheduled pick up date to move the pick-up from Sept 1st to Aug. 31st but somehow my request never got submitted, then my Uhaul was somehow placed under someone else's name: Jonathon Rodriguez to be exact. I am not nor have I ever been Jonathon Rodriguez nor have I ever lived at 22 Tremont in Boston. My name is Lori Fritzel & I reserved the uhual under my son Tyler's name. So I don't know how the mix up happened but it caused problems when A & D movers were there to pick it up. When A & D got there they were told that the uhaul hadn't been pd for even though I had called that morning & gave Mark my CC information again (I had given the information when I reserved the Uhaul on July 18, 2015). So I called while A & D were there to pick it up so I could clear up the payment mistake that Uhaul had made but Mark couldn't even find my reservation & said that my referrence number was under Jonathon's name not mine. He just kept telling me that he was trying to help me but the Uhaul wasn't mine. He kept interrupting me & was not helpful in any way. I finally talked with another gal in customer service who was very helpful. I received a receipt today via e-mail & the Uhaul is still under the wrong name. NOT acceptable & very frustrating. Mark needs to be taken out of customer service.

My reservation was set for 10:30am but at 9:30am I got a call saying my reservation was set for 8am and if I didn't show up in 30 minutes my reservation would be canceled. I was EXTREMELY upset as I was across town and the driver of the uhaul wasn't even in Boston yet. On top of that, I had confirmation saying my pick up time was set for 10:30am. When I showed up at the store, the women said "oh thats weird I do see a 10:30am pick up" and everyone was playing dumb acting like they didn't just call me 20 minutes prior. After I explained my concerns I was still treated rudely by the agent at the desk. Awful customer service. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with the service I was given and will never use Uhaul for any future moves.

An associate called my phone and had to leave a message indicating that the vehicle was late/ overdue. The associate's tone and language on the message was RUDE and unprofessional. There needs to be more training around customer service and professional communication.
