when making a reservation you shouldn't allow people to reserve equipment you dont have we spent 6 hours today and had to go to three different locations because none of them had the equipment that we needed and the customer service of the uhaul customer service over the phone is absolutely horrible and no one would help us we just kept getting transferred back to a rude manager who kept hanging up on us

After an incident occurred, the manager is now charging my credit card without my consent, and not applying the insurance I purchased to an incident they caused. I have had to change my credit card number to prevent further arbitrary charges that have occurred weeks after the initial charge by the manager at this location. Terrible location service. Will never use again and I am contacting uhaul credit card department, customer service, and their insurance department.

I had reserved a cargo van for this morning. I received a message from U-Haul yesterday that said that they were changing my reservation to a 6-hour reservation, rather than the 24-hour period I had reserved. As an orthodox Jew, I am unable to check my voicemail, email or text messages on the Sabbath. So I was very upset when I checked my messages Saturday night to find out that they had changed my reservation without my consent. At this point, I was supposed to pick up the van in approximately 12 hours (that is not very much notice to change someone's reservations). Additionally, the U-Haul locations were now closed and there was nobody I could speak to. I called the main U Haul number and they advised me to show up at my scheduled pick up time, and if they weren't able to meet my 24-hour reservation that I should then call the U Haul Traffic Center for help. Me and my 9-months-pregnant wife traveled an hour to the pick up location. We got there before they opened, and after they opened we waited in line for about 40 minutes before it was our turn, and we were told there was nothing they could do and that we were welcome to leave. I told them that I had been instructed to call the U Haul Traffic Center if that was the case, which I proceeded to do. When I did that, the woman at the traffic center was extremely rude. She began by berating me for calling her 40 minutes after my rental was scheduled to begin if I needed extra time for my move, (this was of course not my fault, as I had arrived about five minutes before the location opened and then had waited in line for a long time before it was my turn). She then proceeded to tell me that if I didn't want the 6 hour rental, I could leave. Leave - after traveling an hour to get there, when we had deliberately scheduled our move and reserved a van for this date because it was the only time that would work for us and other parties involved. We were not given enough notice to reserve a rental with another company because we didn't find out about the change in our reservation until late Saturday night. I am absolutely sick about the poor treatment we received. I wouldn't recommend U Haul to a dog after this experience. Your company, and your employees treated us like garbage. Oh, speaking of which, the back of the van was full of mud or manure, or god knows what when we picked it up. And, to top it all off, when I returned the van, I could see that they had an entire lot full of vans and trucks and were going to be closing in less than an hour and there was nobody there picking up vans. So obviously, you didn't need the van back. Ruined our plans to do what we needed to do for no reason. Absolutely disgusting.

Good afternoon, overall the equipment was clean and they were efficient however the customer service was horrible. There was one employee who was conversing with an non staff member about personal business. While two customers were waiting to be serviced. The representative, Luz that serviced me was extremely rude and inattentive.

When the return the uhaul truck, it is difficult to replace the gas the same way it was received. it should be replaced as much as you can put it knowning that it has a big engine.

When I rented the truck, gas gauge was at 5/8, not at 3/4 as stated on the contract. Did not noticed at first. When buying gas for the truck, could not fill gas tank above 5/8. There is a problem with the vehicle gas gauge and gas related parts. The truck was clean, though.

The lady seemed bored and annoyed with us, and kept mumbling. Well I guess it's ok, since she "didn't feel good". She said it herself. Also, we were overcharged for the gas.We refilled the tank to the agreed marked, and still got charged $11. unacceptable.

We called weeks in advance to arrange our pickup time for the morning of our move in day. We then called the day before just to make sure that our u-boxes would be ready for delivery and were assured that we could pick them up as early as 7am. We arrived at 8:15 and were told that they never received the information and they wouldn't be ready until 1:00 in the afternoon. After calling the general manager and the overall company, we got that time moved up to 11:00, but it wasted hours of our time not to mention around $20 in gas and tolls. From 11:00 on we had no problems but somewhere, someone in u-haul screwed up and no one was admitting that it was their fault and not mine. Moving day is bad enough without having to deal with that sort of thing.
