The vehicle was very clean and practically brand new. My only recommendation for improvement would be to have a friendlier and more welcoming staff. The young lady that inspected the van was nice however, the young man that I first met was rather cold and did not greet me or offer to assist me.

The only issue was that there was a huge bag of moving blankets attached to the wall of the truck. We did not pay for them so we didn't open the bag, but it was a nuisance to have to move around the bag, especially since it was at the front of the truck. You shouldn't put them there if they aren't ordered as they're large and inconvenience.

We were not able to drop our uhal off because the parking lot was full. We called your service center and they just kept telling us we needed to park it in a secure location. So we had to drive back to our apartment and find street parking then show up at 7:00 am to drop it off. We were informed if we did not drop it off at 7:00 am we would be charged for another day. We were also charged for more miles because we had to drive it farther through no fault of our own. The customer service was really terrible and it doubled the stress of moving. I do not feel I received good service for what I paid.

We first rented a 15' truck then switched to a 10' truck and apparently your left hand did not tell your right hand. We were told we only rented a 15' and it made moving out of the North End far more complicated than necessary. What is the point of reserving earlier if you can't get the truck you want? Also the truck cab reeked of cigarettes the entire 7 hour drive.

Make it clearer that you have yo distinguish one way rentals and round trip rentals. There was confusion as to what we agreed on when renting the vehicle.

The agent who was there at the UHaul center in the morning of 8/20/2015 at around 11:30 AM was very rude, discourteous and blunt. He was making no effort to be helpful or polite, and was getting some sort of satisfaction in making us (me and my friend) frustrated. The agent who we met while returning the vehicle at 6 PM was nice and helpful. Please check on the agent who was attending in the morning.

Not only were they late in giving us the truck, they told my brother the truck was not available even though he was waiting in line. We didn't get done moving until 3 in the morning. Then he got charged 60+ when it was the people at u haul that made us late in the first place. Never again!

we booked this reservation at a closer location, but the truck broke down. We had to travel through Boston traffic, completely out of the way. We were promised a $50 credit (which Brookline location had no idea about). Never received the $50 credit. We were given additional mileage due to this being completely out of our way. Staff did not tie down the dolly which we didn't realize until heading down the road. Also gas was incorrect upon pick up. Of course we signed off prior to seeing our truck. I called the office to note this especially since we had to fill to the agreed upon amount on the contract. There were other issues which we contacted you all about, but no one called. I have ONE phone number yet No calls. Very disappointed. I've used you in the past, but will consider other companies due to our horrible experience.

Truck was wet on the inside. Gentleman behind the counter was sexist. He looked at me (I'm a woman of color) and said, "You think you're going to drive a 20 ft truck? I don't trust you. I'm going to pull it out into the drive myself." Yep, he did that. Little does he know that I've driven much bigger machinery. But like I said, he was sexist and that's what sexists do. Oh, and also, when it was time to return the truck at night, there were so many other vehicles in the drive that it was virtually impossible to get our truck onto the property and off the street... but guess what? I did it. Easy. Couple inches to spare on either side between two other trucks. Not bad for a woman, huh, U-Haul?

The office was very small and a large crowd of people. It was not unclean - but too much stuff in a small space. Once we learned we could check in outside with the truck all went smooth and the staff was very helpful in working out the credit for the dolly

make sure uhaul employees do not swear or curse in front of customers. Greet customers with a friendly greeting even if the shop just opened. Make them feel good about doing business with uhaul. Also DO NOT discourage customers from driving a truck with trailer. Uhauls are supposed to be ok for people with little or no experience driving commercial trucks. I was confident in my driving ability and the customer service rep thought it was funny that I would be driving the uhaul with a trailer based on appearances.

The manager Carlo has zero customer service interest. When we found the dash board mileage is different from the paper work mileage when we pickup the truck and request a correction, he refuse to make a correction. As a result we pay one mile more than what we used. He should never be in the manger position. Very very rude. He said that he does not care about the review. He should be fired. I like to talk with his boss please.

Stated incorrect cost per mile at $0.59 just as person on phone said; which was fine. But when it came time to pay, the cost per mile was $1.39. I wasted time and money!
