I had set everything up via the regional office, gave my credit card number, setup the drives and drop off location. When my son went to pickup the truck, he had to start all over will the information. Not sure why I had provide the information to the regional office if none of it was used by the renting office.

the ONLY negative is that a 'drop in pin' for the ramp gate was broken. (2 are used to keep the ramp locked in the uprite position) The Millerton location said it should have been replaced before I picked it up. The WV location did provide a bolt in it's place.

More box and packing supplies would be helpful.

When we originally moved from Idaho to West Virginia four months ago, we paid under $500 for a 17 foot truck through a price match. When we moved back from West Virginia to Idaho this month, we were charged over $1400 for a 20 foot truck, even with a price match. Even the 17 foot trucks were almost triple the price we paid on the first trip. We were told this was because of supply and demand, which really sounds like price gouging. We needed a 20 foot truck but when we arrived they gave us a 26 foot truck instead. This was more than we needed and meant we had more fuel cost. Vehicle was not properly maintained. It had been sitting in the same spot at the location for several weeks up until we picked it up. When we picked it up, we were told that the battery might be low so we might have to jump start it if it died during our trip. He also said that if it needed oil for us to add it and it would be reimbursed at drop off. The vehicle shook extremely bad at any speed over 60 mph. (We were traveling 2200 miles on all highways posted at 70 - 80 mph). Vehicle shook so bad that the seat belt constantly locked up, getting tighter and tighter until it had to be removed because it was painful. Windshield wiper blades didn't work, so at one point we had to drive 14 miles to get to an exit to clean off the windshield after a truck splashed muddy water on us when passing. After the outrageous price that we were charged for this vehicle, why should we be expected to do roadside maintenance on the vehicle that should have been done by the company.
