The staff was excellent, making it a great experience overall. However the truck leaked both in the cab and in the box during a rain storm. Several of my boxes got wet, but I don't want to file a claim for damage.

I was very pleased with the Burnsville location. However, my reservation was at your Shakopee location and no one told me it had moved. I went to Shakopee on the previous day to confirm my reservation and to ensure my lights were working and spoke to the Shakopee manager about the time I would pick up the trailer the next day; imagine my surprise when I went to Shakopee at the stated time and was told they didn't have a trailer for me. Fortunately, the Burnsville location saved the day. Nonetheless, a lot of time was wasted and unnecessary stress was created simply because no one bothered to let me know of the change. Whether that is the fault of the Shakopee location or U-Haul enterprise, I don’t know…I do know that it created a very poor customer experience however.

I was very frustrated because I came in for my scheduled pick up time, and there was no staff available to help me. I ended up having to wait beyond my appointment time...which spiraled into everything being late, and the help that I had to help me move were waiting for me. It should be guaranteed that your truck is ready for you at your appointment time, and that enough staff is available to help. I complained, but was not compensated, and was very upset. I will NOT be recommending this location to others.

I was pulled over by the police for non-working trailer lights. Fortunately, the officer didn't give me a ticket, and I was able to find a U-Haul location to get them fixed. It was a blown fuse, but the right blinker light still never worked. Other than that, it was fine.

I originally reserved this truck at the Lyndale shop....did not receive ANY notice that the truck was to be picked up at Burnsville.......After dealing with the rudest, smart-ass employee at Lyndale (caucasion guy with a beard), the day was saved by the most polite, professional and accommodating employee at Burnsville (caucasion guy with a gotee). The move was accomplished as planned. I am pleased.
As the administrator who may deal with this comment, I would either seek a total attitude change in the Lyndale employee or help him find employment better suited for his smart-ass attitude. I lived too long to deal with that again.

Tow Dolly local rental for 4 hours is $44.00, I required it for less then 6 hours w/ a different drop location and was quoted $250.00, how can this be possible or marketable?

the location was great. the truck was clean. driving the truck left a lot to be desired.
the truck did not shift smoothly and took a longer than normal time to shift up. When braking the truck jerked. It was not a pleasant experience riding in or driving this truck.

Because of the weather (sleet, rain, snow) a lot of my cargo (boxes) got drenched in water and some of the hard wood furniture had the dampness feel to them. Asked the Burnsville U-Haul employee if there was anything he could do and from the sounds of it he didn't want to do anything. He re-directed me to the 1-800 number for any concerns because "its out of my control."

Customer Service was non-existant waiting line was outrageous. I have rented U-Boxes on three separate occasions and all have been less than satisfactory. The boxes were never ready at requested pick-up time. One box didn't even have a secure latch to use a locking mechanism. What you can do to improve for the next customer: HIRE & TRAIN NEW STAFF!

Waited for someone to check us and our truck in to return. After 15 minutes of waiting where it tells you to, we went inside. And waited another 10 minutes, with no greeting or anything. And the guy kept helping people who got there after us.
