I rented a Car Hauler from Glendale, Az and dropped off at this location. the process went pretty smooth but thee associate didn't seem very helpful. The phone rang and after finally answering put the caller on hold. No sense of urgency "Get to it when I can" they said. A month later I reserved to pick up from same location(Car Hauler) to travel back to Glendale Az First off. The parking lot was full of equipment and didn't see a "Customer Parking" area. we weren't sure where to park and then was told NOT to park in the "Equipment drop off area" even though no other units were sitting there. Same associate(Female) from when we dropped off month prior completed rental process to pick up car hauler. Didn't seem to use common sense when answering the questions in the computer, Same laxy dazy attitude on getting us completed. Didn't escort us to the trailer to hook up. Had another associate who was working in the yard hook unit to my truck and check the lights and connection. I Identified that the license plate on the trailer was broken off. the associate exclaimed"Dont worry about that just show them the rental agreement, that's all you need". after requesting a different trailer, they had that one delivered and nothing else was available so we took that car hauler. I was stopped in Indianapolis Indiana for no plate but luckily was NOT cited. In Albq. New mexico one of the straps broke so I used my own personal cargo strap to secure front wheel. Overall I think the employees need to take a more "Vested" interest in their company and location. Customer service training should be completed and if they don't want to help the customer and do their job, I would let them find a new place to work! Incidently, I recall a "Help Wanted" sign on the Marquee when we dropped off the 1st car trailer. I understand completely why now!

Protocol was not verbally explained regarding part availability and was not followed. Came to get a hitch wired and attached after making an appointment (at which I had also requested a trailer for a specific date). I dropped off the car and came back after 2 hours to be told wiring was done but they did not yet have the part to put on the hitch and I'd need to come back. Was told someone should have called to tell me PRIOR to me coming to my appointment. Came back next day for the hitch and was told it would take about 30 minutes, it took 2 hours. At checkout I asked to confirm the hitch I requested for the next day would be ready. It was not in the system and none were available nearby. An employee, Tony called to find one and offered to go get it in the morning and bring it to this location. When I came the next day to get the trailer, Leron attached it, was very pleasant and worked efficiently. While Leron was tryjng to complete my order an paperwork, a female employee came over ad began a personal conversation, aand wwwas tryjng to enfsge Leron in conversation, asking questions, all while he was trying to do his job. Aside from my personal experience, myself and others stood in line waiting for service for up to 20 minutes with only 3 customers in the store and 3 employees at the desk, but only one acknowledging and assisting customers. Other two employees stood behind the desk, and did not even simply state to customers "Hello. Someone will be right with you." No customer I encountered was pleased.

The u-haul itself was beyond what I would consider mechanically sound in that the heads up display was not in working condition and for someone not used to how these large trucks operate the display is vital to operation. Secondly. Upon arriving my truck was available and timely with a pleasant staff, however my requested furniture dolly was not available that they apparently don't have them at this location. Why offer these on your website for reservation, as people plan moves around having the proper equipment. Lastly when dropping off my very uncle and filing the tank up I realized that the "full" line was not clearly indicated and that I was given the truck on only 7/8ths. After the attendant explained to me I misread the poorly indicated line and realizing I paid for someone else's previous rental fuel I was shrugged off by the attendant. I understand the contracts and disclaimers but the customer service regarding follow through was completely absent from my entire experience. I will definitely seek out alternative options next time.

This location was my 3rd stop looking for a open Tag trailer. 800 # 1st sent me to south high where agent laughed said he only has 1 truck hasnt had trailers in a while. He suggested the location on Parsons which had small open but not the large i was looking for. This location took the time to call around to find what i was looking for and sent me to S. Hamilton location. I think U-Haul needs to update inventory with the 800 # from time to time to save customers time and wasted money running to several locations..

This location had plenty of equipment to choose from, my rental was ready to go when I arrived to pick-up. The return was average due to somewhat small staff in attendance, but I was processed in about 15 min. (no problem). I will consider this location again if necessary.

My dolly was forgotten by the female employee who checked me out and I was only refunded a fourth of the miles I had to use to get back to the uhaul and pick it up. She was also dismissive and rude.

We had to wait over an hour for pick up of rental on a already stressful day. Lady on register was not experienced and made several mistakes that my husband was lucky to catch. Very unhappy!!!

This was the worse uhaul experience Ive ever had!! The first truck had roaches the managers weren't there the employee had a baby in the back. No seemed to find an issues that they let a truck with roaches be rented out. I better get a credit because this was very inconvenient and the customer service bwas horrible will never use uhaul again

The location makes it hard to fight traffic. What would help s if there was signing showing you can get ut behind the location to go east and west without the turn around because of the street divider, for the extra gas and mileage.

I personally made a mistake and ordered a truck that was too small for all my belongings. I got a 15 and should have rented a 17. Fortunately you were able to help me out by providing a trailer. However my moving experience would have been better had I rented the correct truck in the first place.

The trucks parking brake did not when parking on an incline it rolled forward. There was a dolly in the truck we did not want. It was un attached and rolling around the back of the truck.

When I picked up the tow dolly, I had to pay and additional fee that was not in the initial quote. Once I paid the extra fee , I waited a few minutes and the attendant asked what was I waiting for I said for him to put the tow dolly on the back of my truck, he said I had to do it myself. I really thought that was supposed to be his job, he came out for about 2 minutes and he sent the mechanic from next door. We figured it out and I left.

I felt the employees were very slow and un-businesslike. I felt like I was getting my license renewed at the BMV. Lot of line standing and no real sense of urgency from the people behind the counter. Seems like it should be a pretty easy deal especially since I reserved it online.

The truck I rented had a definite problem with the back door of the truck. It could barely be raised and even when I did get the door to raise up I had to completely close it from the few inches I got it to raise and then try again. It often took several attempts of persistent struggling to get the door open, from the very 1st time before anything was even in the truck. The guy at UHaul told me it was "normal," that trucks were being equipped with a feature so they would "not fly open." If a customer closes the door properly then it should not fly open! I will not use UHaul again because as a customer I should not have to struggle with raising and closing the door to the point that it takes several attempts to open the door, wasating a great deal of valuable time when moving. It is NOT "normal" for the door to seem like it is off track or stuck, forcing the customer to struclly every single attempt to open/close the door. I am no truck mechanic, but I am not stupid either.

The truck I rented had a bad wheel alignment problem. Being that I am a female, it was very trying to maintain in my lane without holding tightly to the wheel. It was a trying and scary experience but was able to get the job done.

Make sure equipment is in good working condition. The appliance dolly I rented was in poor repair.The rubber strips on it were worn out causing damage to my recently purchased refrigerator. The dolly left scratches and mars on the side of the refrigerator which will need to be repaired.

Truck was not safe to drive. Transmission and power steering issues when returned was told was aware of issues.
