The guy that helped me with the trailer was the most helpful, friendly efficient agent I have ever had the pleasure of being in contact with. I have used u-haul quite a few times and he was the best!

I wouldn't recommend uhaul at all. I got charged a bogus $10 fee to clean a truck that I already cleaned. I'll never use uhaul again and I will never recommend them.

When a customer is already paying to rent the vehicle and put gas in the vehicle - I think there should be some leeway with the mileage. You should get say 50 miles free and THEN pay $.99/mi after that. I wanted a 17' truck, but it said they didn't have those at this location. So I paid the same money for a 14' truck. The town I moved to was 30 miles away so my mileage was around $70 on top of the $60 of gas I put in and the $30 rental fee. And taxes, etc. Or you could offer an incentive if you return the vehicle with more fuel. For instance, I got it with 1/4 tank and returned with 1/2 tank. I ended up not fitting everything into the 14' truck, but couldn't afford the mileage charges to make a second trip. So now I will need to find someone that has a truck that I could borrow and make a couple trips that way.
