We returned the little 10' truck...which was amazingly easy to drive...at the drop off location just prior to the assigned time. The service man (didn't get his name) was polite and prompt getting all the paperwork done and finalizing the rental. This first time U-haul experience was great and we would recommend it to anyone!!

It was confusing where to enter to return the trailer, the attendant came out to tell me where to pull in, but he wasn't outside to direct where to drop off the trailer when I came back around. There was another customer with a trailer in the middle of the lot, so I stopped the truck in front of it and hopped out to find out where to park the trailer. The other customer was very rude and unhelpful, not the fault of U-haul, but if the attendant had been outside to direct me, this conflict could have been avoided. The attendant was helpful once he was outside, but it would have been better if he had remained outside (or watched for my return, I drove around the block rather than possibly damage the trailer due to faulty reversal of the trailer) to further direct me where to properly drop off the equipment. I have just received a receipt of my transaction and am being charged a $5.00 wrong drop-off fee and $0.40 in tax on the fee when the original reservation shows that I chose the Van Sant location in Norwalk, CT as the drop off location not a location in Canton, NY, which is very far north of southwest Connecticut. I have three emails confirming that Norwalk, CT is the drop off location. I have been informed by a customer service representative that I will have to fax the original contract to some number to clarify this. All-in-all, my experience will U-Haul has been less than smooth and somewhat stressful, which is the last thing a person wants on top of a cross-country move. It's hard to recommend a company when all of these things happen, but again, all the attendants and any U-Haul rep that I have spoken with have been friendly, some a little more professional than others.

This experience was so much better than the Brookline location. So helpful. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have given U-Haul a second chance.

We waited 25 minutes for an employee to come in. Yelled hello and knocked on doors but no one was around. Finally we went back to the storage units and found Amber. She was very rude and didn't communicate well. She said no more than three words and was less than apologetic that we waited so long. It seemed we were a huge inconvenience to her. Overall awful experience. This is my first and last time using a uhaul.

When I called ahead two days to rent a car trailer and gave all the info to a lady, and then when I came to pick up trailer had to do it all over again. It took way to long.Now when I brought the trailer back I was on my way in no time.

Truck reserved in Ogdensburg was not available. Truck I reserved in Canton was not available. I was put in a smaller truck which had a check engine light on the entire time. Truck was for sale and had no UHAUL markings on it. As a result of the smaller truck, I had to make two round trips and charged for the mileage. I should have only had to travel 35 miles to Norwood. Because of Uhaul's mistake I traveled 136 miles.

The only employee in the store was very incompetent. He didn't know how to sign us out for equipment we had reserved weeks before. We ended up needing to wait for him to check out the line of customers that had formed behind us, and even after an hour and a half wait, he still needed to call for help. It ended up taking us longer to get the U Haul equipment we had reserved, than it did to pack it full of our belongings.

The Uhaul company in General is terrible. I made my reservation a week in advance and was not supplied with a truck until four days late. I had to change all of my moving plans and had to put off starting my new job another week. I should sue Uhaul for the loss of wages and time I was put out as well my friends'schedules that got changed. I will never use this company again if i can help it. I will never recommend Uhaul to anyone and will always tell people of my bad experience with this company.

The U-Haul employees were friendly and efficient. I was in an out in 5 minutes - great service! I do have a suggestion for U-Haul's service: I didn't bring with me a plug for the trailer lights on my SUV and had to buy one on site. I would have preferred to rent one or, even better, take it free of charge and return it when returning the trailer - that would be a nice touch to the customer service experience. I also received multiple phone calls after I picked up the trailer asking me whether and when I intended to pick up the trailer. Apparently my pickup wasn't recorded. I guess I could've cancelled my pickup and kept the trailer, since there was no record of me picking it up :-)
