Great customer service. No issues at all.

Jill at Knorrs Sunoco was amazing. She is really too good to be dealing with a poor company like U-Haul. U-Haul corporate needs to recognize that the local people like Jill keep customers coming back. It is certainly better than the hideous service people get from the web or 1-800 number.

No one is there on weekends to help me attach the 4×8 cargo trailer to my hitch. I have had 3 back surgerits and am not supposed lift heavy objects. I do no turn screws tightly and had to hop the hitch was not going to come off on the interstate highway.

this was actually a really bad experience -- Mansfield Ave was the second location as the first location I arrived and the U Haul was there but no one showed up or was reachable. I talked to someone in your scheduling area who was quite frankly terrible -- his words were " I am where I am supposed to be - you are where you are supposed to be -- he is not there - I don't know what to tell you" he offered no solution or further assistance -- Quite unbelievable -- needless to say I was able to speak to someone in the local regional office who was very friendly and assisted me in finding another location. The individual I spoke with originally should be reprimanded and has no business being in a position dealing with clients ---

the truck was very hard to start; needed to jiggle the key and wheel to get it to turn. pretty frustrating, but otherwise everything was great.

Sun Visor on driver's side kept falling down and blocking my view. I had to hold it with one hand until I got home and was able to pin it up to the ceiling. Also, the engine light came on about 5 minutes into my drive. Other than the vehicle, everything else was fine.

I originally had a U-Haul reserved at the Washington, PA location weeks in advance. I arrived and NO U-Haul. I then drove to the Carnegie location that still had a 24' truck. I was told there is a $50 U-Haul guarantee and I did not receive this when I paid my bill. The lady working at the Carnegie location was VERY nice and told me to call about the guarantee. Will I receive this?

Kelli and Jill were great to work with. They gave me detailed instructions on U-haul policy and procedures. The truck itself was spotless.

I would recommend the gas station to anyone and everyone I know....but not as a U-Haul distributor. When I arrived, the 17 footer truck i had reserved was not on site. Per website - if your truck is not on site per reservation time and place, you are supposed to get a free truck...You think that happened?? Nope, they tried to charge me for a bigger truck. If i wanted a bigger truck, I WOULD HAVE ORDERED IT!!! I had to wait 2 HOURS (!!!!) until the owner (?) of the place came in and provided me w a 27 footer, which i did NOT need. The company then tried to charge me the amount for this truck versus the 17 footer. I was not having it. Moving day is one of the most stressful days in a persons life, besides a death in the family or perhaps a break up. To put someone (A CUSTOMER) through the ringer like that on moving day is absolutely NOT cool. I had people waiting at my apartment to move everything, that had to sit for 2 hours in absolute silence, doing nothing, in 90 degree weather and no AC, and no furniture as it was all packed away, until we came back with a truck. I'm very disappointed in how U-Haul handed the situation, but not the employees at Knorr's. I must say that the customer service at the gas station far exceeded that of Uhaul. The girl at the counter kept her cool, was helpful, and wanted to make things right. She knew we got screwed and apparently it wasn't the first time as there were 3 other people THAT DAY that had issues...and 2 when i returned the following day to return the truck. She even thanked me for being so level headed during this fiasco. I managed to not freak out the day of the move but am really pissed that this even happened and was an issue. I applaud their service, not yours. I also was wasn't aware of the "in-town fee" versus an out of state fee. WHY is it more money to move 22 miles than it is to move to another state?? It cost .99 a mile if you move out of state or local if you return the truck to the original store. This is not advertised on the website and is a total rip off. I moved from the south hills to Plum. I could have driven two miles down the road and dropped the truck off at an actual UHaul site where there were dozens of trucks. The place i picked up from didn't even have space for more than 3 trucks. But instead, i had to unload and drive the truck back to Carnegie, charging me the extra round trip and then get a ride back to where i moved. Ridiculous is an understatement. I wish i could get my money back for all the issues i experienced the day of my move., UHaul makes it sound like they're saving you money, but get you with all kinds of fees not listed when you put down a reservation on the truck. Will not recommend UHaul for anyone looking to move. I will tell people to look elsewhere and pay more upfront to not deal w the stress and extra payments.

Cash was paid for a 4 hour rental on a cargo van, and a credit card balance of $102 was held until the van was returned. Though the van was returned satisfactorily, on time and with a full tank of gas, a call was not made to cancel the charge on the credit card when cash had been paid as agreed. I was told this would be done when we returned the card and paid. Also, UHAUL corporate said they don't make a call and just let the credit "Fall off" the card in 7 days. This is extremely unfriendly customer service. I would never recommend UHAUL in the future because of this practice, and it will be reported to the Attorney General.

the uhaul truck was in bad shape...when I got in to start it took 15 seconds to turn over and sounded like it was going to stall out. Sadly after we loaded it with furniture to take it to our destination the truck stalled 5 times. It took at least 15 minutes of waiting for the fuel pump to cool down so it would start again. This was a huge inconvenience because we were stuck in traffic 3 times trying to restart. What should of took 10 minutes to get to our destination took 1 hour and 8 minutes. Upon return of the truck I was told that this particular truck had the same issues just 2 weeks prior. Very unsatisfactory in my opinion! I would like a call from someone in corporate to discuss this issue further. I placed 2 calls to uhaul the same day only to be told that the system was down and to call back. Does that even make sense ?

The van smelled like dog dirt. We had to purchase an air freshener and even with that, the ride from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati was awful. The van was not clean.

i picked up the truck at the end of the day thursday at a location 12 miles from te location nearest me because the truck couldn't be sent to the near location i used it on Friday and returned it early Saturday morning whick was most inconvenient as the highway and bridge were closed i was charged for a three day rental which i tink was unwarranted; this was on top of paying at least $25 in milage because your company couldn't deliver the truck to a nearer location in total, i was billed more than $234 for what sould have been a $39.99 trck and approximately 20 miles. i am unimpressed and will never use u-haul again, nor will i recommend the company.
